Both plots are for the main character to choose one of the two girls. Both anime have one girl who pisses you off lol. Both also have the girl who is really nice and the best choice.

It's the same concept as Golden Time. The bangy attractive goof of a main character ending up having to choose between two girls that fell for him! Which would they(he) choose ?The girl he's liked all along or the girl that popped out of no where?

A choice ascending into time itself. The choice between her, or her? Golden Time and Nisekoi follow a dude in some special circumstances which hinder his experience in their respective love life. Whether it is to be pursued their selfish reasons or rejected to maintain dignity is something our protagonists have to discuss internally on a day-to-day basis.

Nisekoi's Ichijou in a muddled situation of gang war playing a reason as to why he is in an up and down relationship, compared to Golden Time's silly moments that are supposed to have some impact (but whatever), basically just Tada's internal conflict with his present and past relationships.

Both are good rom-coms, though I'd head into Nisekoi if you are a fan of harem compared to the drama that comes from Golden Time.

Similar artistic style (cartoonish, textures, stylish effects, simple vectors, bright colors), similar comedy and both are about an average guy with a bunch of friends that have crazy antics with him at school or other various places. Both are harem-style and have lots of girls and fanservice.

Nisekoi and Baka to Test are very similar in many ways:
- They have many perverted characters
- Almost panty shots and sexy scenes
- Cute and beautiful girls

First of all, the comedy here will make your day great. The nosebleeds, the awkward faces they make, i mean what could be better if they make faces when they get humiliated. Also loved the romance here and love revelations. You won't know who the MC is really paired to whom (except he has a current crush but still made a promise in the past somewhat that). The romance really makes a great impact of the anime. Some good suspense although situations throughout the show are pretty much predictable. Better watch this when you're in a bad karma

+Both are high school romantic comedy
+Very similar over-the-top humour with incredibly ridiculous over reaction/facial expressions
+The girls are VERY similar in both animes. Having a foreign tsundere girl and a shy girl

-Nisekoi is harem, whereas Baka Test is more of a love triangle
-Nisekoi focuses more on the bonds between the MC and the girls, whereas Baka Test is a slapstick comedy with some romantic aspect.

Having the same character dynamics but with different character archetypes. "Nisekoi" has a "tsundere" girl while "OsaMake" has a "kuudere" girl; nevertheless, it is about a boy having romantic feelings and forming a relationship with the said girl.

I find both series similar due to them giving and making me remember the same vibes that "Nisekoi" gave me in the past. Both are pretty standard overall. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys comedic aspects more than the dramatic ones.

Both of these shows use the same romcom formula: the childhood friend has to win if every heroine is somehow the protagonist's childhood friend. Every heroine you meet in either show knew the protagonist somehow as a child, leaving no other choice. However, while Nisekoi does this seriously, Osamake is a satirical take on this plot. In Nisekoi the winning childhood friend is a mystery that must be solved. In Osamake, it is a gag.

Very similar plot line but its still early to see where this story goes.
Nisekoi eventually went pretty heavy into the shonen side of the manga.
Osamake (so far) seems closer to a new spin on old tropes rom-com.

Osananajimi has a bit different premise, but it does not matter at all, since the core, the juice is basically the same as Nisekoi:
 - similar characters, their relations and interactions;
 - same type of humor (mostly cringe and overreactions);
 - the whole story revolves around the connections with the protagonist sometime in the past;
 - both are harems (and these harems are quite similar archetype-wise).
But:
 - They have different proportions of romance and comedy;
 - Shows build suspense/drama differently: N is doing it by characters "not knowing and too shy to ask", O is doing it by characters "knowing but too prideful to confront each other";
 - O has a faster pacing. read more

Osamake is a harem anime where he got a friend in a acting studio, childhood friend, and a school idol. All of them love the mc but the mc can't pick whether which one should he love and give them happiness. Nisekoi is quite the same with Osamake because the mc in here also got her harem which is almost 2x the osamake mc. Nisekoi mc has a yakuza daughter, friend since elementary or middle school, childhood friend, butler of yakuza daughter, and a bit harem with the sister of friend since elementary. The mc also can't pick because the only one he will love is the one that will open his necklace and that his one true love had the key. I really recommend Osamake if you like Nisekoi because of their similarities.

Is the same basic storyline, a childhood promise, love involved, girls confusion and a lots of comedy.
The characters are similar, but Love hina is harem style (many, many girls) and nisekoi is school life style.

Comedy, harem romance and slightly ecchi series that feature a oblivious yet caring male protagonist, surrounded by various beautiful girls who try to get involved romantically with him. Both series are cliched and full of tropes, yet they are somewhat aware of their own cliched nature and makes fun of it to create great comedy. A source of shipping wars in both series.

The story itself isn't really similar however how the story is done is.
The fact we get the 2 main girls at the start and others start to join the harem later is similar.
The comedy is very similar as well.

Anime dealing with arranged marriage. In Nisekoi, the main characters must be a couple in order to stop rivalry between mafia groups. In Mikakunin de Shinkoukei aka Engaged to the Unidentified,  our main couple are engaged due to an incident that happen in the past. Both anime deals with school, life,  romance, comedy, and drama.  Add love triangle to spice things up. Both anime airing this year.

The concept of arranged marriages sets up the contents for both Nisekoi and Mikakunin de Shinkoukei. Therefore, expect misunderstandings, drama, but also connections on a more deeper level as well.

The main male characters contrasts greatly in personality. However, they do care about their friends and families deep down. Mikakunin de Shinkoukei has an additional element of supernatural theme while Nisekoi presents every episode in an unique fashion courtesy of Shaft.

Two main characters in both series also suffers from an amnesia from the past that becomes a plot device throughout their perspective stories.

The story follows two main characters, mostly a boy and a girl, who got off a strange start by an arranged couples. Though they have child memories where they tried to remember several parts, but don't remember most of it. As they go through this "arranged couple" they tried to put the pieces together for their childhood memories and see if that he/she is the right person.

Engaged to the Unidentified, follows a girl who have memories during the accident, and was arranged by a "Soon-to-be fiance." Nisekoi follows a boy who have memories of a promise girl, and was arranged by a girl who was forced to pair up to stop family fueds. read more

Both anime have love triangles and they're both have situations with a lot of  misunderstandings. They both tease you with the outcome of the romance. The only difference is that Nisekoi is more of a harem.

Both are rom-coms where a boy and a girl are forced to be a couple by their fathers. Though the boy and the girl hate each other at first, after a while, hate starts to change into love. Both series have also other girls who have crush on the boy. Also, while Ranma ½ is ecchi, Nisekoi isn't.

Chuunibyou is a cute story, you'll find yourself shipping oddly paired couples pretty fast, just like in Nisekoi, one of the best anime shows I have seen.

Both shows have strong comedic visuals (Kaguya-sama director worked at Shaft, which produced Nisekoi). Also, not much happens in terms of progression (at least so far), though Nisekoi is a harem romance, while Kaguya-sama is not. Both also have interesting characters and funny interactions that happen between them.

Somehow, as if magically or by a chance of genre, the MC finds himself surrounded by girls of all different kinds. While the MC may be generally unaware of their romantic status, both animes are based around the relationships they have with each other, and the time-passing comedy. Nisekoi is a little bit more on the romantic, dramatic side, while Jitsu wa Watashi wa is more on the crazy, comedic side. Regardless, both animes are very enjoyable simply because of how each of the characters and the way they interact with each other are so enjoyable. If you liked one simply because you liked the crazy comedy that went on, you'll enjoy the other. Don't come expecting good plots from either however, it's a shounen romance in the end. But that doesn't mean it's bad :) read more

-Reika is a lot like Chitoge from Nisekoi, I kept thinking of the situation as the same and they both have servants that act in ridiculous ways for them
-Mayu is comparable to Onodera from Nisekoi, though I'd say they're a bit different.

-Maburaho is more oldern style art as for Nisakoi is more modern art
-Both main character has a girl who likes them for who they are and promised each other they will marry each other when they grow up

The protagonists of both anime have something in their pasts that they can't seem to remember, and they met a certain amount of girls in the past who they end up reuniting with in the future. Both anime also have animation that is pleasing to the eyes.
