So, I guess I should start with the fact that I'm always open for discussion. Whether or not you agree with my list and/or debating general facts of life is all taken kindly to. No need to feel shy,
I don't bite.
To the contrary, I'm usually fairly shy and timid, whilst staying true to my genuine opinion.
I started watching anime quite a while ago, and the date joined is actually not entirely true to word. The embarassing yet undeniable truth is that after a spacious and sadly forced break from the free time I used to have, I seemed to have lost the access to my original account, and finding it again seemed a task not short of the impossible. Creating a new one was the second best thing to do, and starting with a clean slate perhaps has some symbolic meaning to it.
As for my tastes; I generally enjoy a whole range of anime, most notably: Time-travel, romance, slice of life and (well-animated) action with the oddball here and there. I'd say that my guilty pleasure would probably be an overpowered main protagonist, even though that's a trope that generally belongs to the 'mediocre' type of anime.
Suggestions are always welcome, so if you feel like you got just the thing, I'm happy to listen.
I'm a bit of a binge-watcher if I feel like it. I don't have any particular pattern or rhythm when watching. There might be times where I watch 4 shows in one week; Other times I find myself postponing a show for a month. However,
I always come back.
Please feel free to read some of my blog posts if you want to get more of an inside look on how I ramble myself through the day. I also plan to steadily release my reviews of various shows, so if that interests you, I'd love for you to take a peek at what I've written up thus far. As an aspiring writer, the mere thought of someone enjoying something I've written is already rewarding enough.
That's basically it. Like I said before, I'm always in for a chat, so feel free to hit me up if you got something to say.

Hmm Monogatari is really long, so only for that reason I don't think you should watch it if you don't have a lot of time on your hand. Are you still interested in romance animes now that you can experience it in real life haha?
I would recommend to watch Kaguya-sama then, it's short, funny and really sweet! However you still haven't completed Rising of the shield hero so I realize you really don't have much time for animes I guess? Anyway, your choice but it's nice to hear that you're doing well!
Oh i've finished the whole Monogatari series as well so now I can finally watch something else!
I'm waching Kaguya-sama and I see you haven't watched it yet, I think it's really good! You heard of it?
Hmm, lets' see this Shield hero anime... It has.... ROMANCE (proceed to check the biggest checkbox on the list) and.. hmmm... some comedy (check!). It's also.. rated... highly! (check).
Synopsis is so-so, could be interesting though. Also, IT'S CURRENTLY AIRING. Oh noes I can't stand waiting for episodes every week :-(
Definitely a "planned to watch" though but I will wait a little.
Also you should know by know, as I am boring, I am still watching the same thing as weeks ago. Monogatari! Also i'm finally making progress in my visual novels, maybe start Clannad next week or so? I'm excited!
Ahh got it, lack of character development is a huge bummer though.. If you say that then I won't watch it!
Also I don't see much progress in your anime list, what's happening ?
And are you a writer by any chance?
Ok I've really wanted to watch SAO, but people said that it's childish / not thaaaat good? It seems good to me but what are your thoughts about it?
Also I don't mind when the romance is not the vocal point of the story, as long as it exist! I've tried to tell you that in my last reply but I couldn't find a way to phrase it :-( you're good with words I think. I realize I might be hard to follow sometimes
You know, the first anime i've watched is JoJo, but the REAL first anime is actually Death Note for me! But only a few episodes when I was much younger. Literally the first anime related thing i've watched and I was NOT hooked at all Ahahaha! I was very anti-anime for a long time, until i've eased my way into visual novels and started liking anime stuff. I'd say I was attracted to the romance aspect of the novels but got addicted to anime at the same time as well.
What about you? How did it start? Did you just decided to watch Death note for fun and liked it, hahaha?
However, nowadays I have a difficulty to start an anime when there is 0 romance involved... It's like a necessity, it doesn't have to be an actual relationship but I need a boy + girl, even better if they end up being good friends/lover. Also, I don't know if you like it too, but it's interesting to see when there are two characters who like each others, but don't say it clearly. It's like there's a "tension", you know that both characters want to be together but something is preventing it... Bonus if they actually end up together (Toradora... -wink -wink).
I see Code Geass is certainly rated highly, but it doesn't fall under the "romance" genre. Why have you decided to watch it initially?
Also I haven't watched any anime related to time manipulation yet, that's oddly specific though :-) Which one is your favorite under that genre?
What happen if I am the one who wants to know more about YOU? Inception.
Usually I don't like the harem-type anime, especially when the guy has like no good traits but for some reason all the girls love him? Also, I don't really like underage or young characters, especially when the girl looks clearly like a kid and theres romance involved like, no. You know what's weird? I feel like I wouldnt like the other way around: A girl with a harem of boys. For some reason I like the fact that the main characters are usually male seeking female relationship. Anyway I got sidetracked here it seems :-)
If I have any other genres that I like is hard to say. Again, I feel like I could like anything done right, for example: supernatural (Bakemonogatari for example) or even fighting (Cowboy bebop...). Also, i've noticed that you haven't watched the two animes i've just mentioned... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!? Ahahaha!
Now, your turn with the same questions. I feel like you like pretty much all genre as well? Let me know, okay?
Also, "Just curious" doesn't cut it, young man. Find a reason >:-D
Grisaia is like, really long. Not only the first one that you're playing — fruits of grisaia — took me like 50 or 60 hours, but there are 2 other games after that. I started the trilogy way before christmas and i'm still not done with the second game. I don't play a lot of visual novels anymore, like you say, I don't have that much time anymore like you. Even worst for you: you can't really play the second game without completing ALL the routes in the first one.
You're obviously another Steins;Gate fan, huh? Damnit, everyone played that VN except me it seems.
Then there's Clannad which i'm scared to start because it's going to be very emotional I think. Also, the characters are ugly >:-D
Also, it looks like you haven't played Sachi's route in Grisaia yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? haha!
Yup yup I played the VN instead of watching the anime. I'm still playing it... it's taking really long to finish it! I'm so slow haha!
You played the novel too I am guessing? Or you plan to? Do you play a lot of VNs?
