The story itself isn't really similar however how the story is done is.
The fact we get the 2 main girls at the start and others start to join the harem later is similar.
The comedy is very similar as well.
Both are Shonen Jump harem anime, both have their set of "girls" that seem to have their fans, Fumino and Kosaki have their similarities, and they have a similar narrative.
Both shows have the same episodic nature focusing on the comedic happenings between the main lead and his harem of beautiful waifus. Both decide not to advance the plot or characters in any way for the sake of more fan service. But hey, if you want to watch a low-stakes slice-of-life romcom where you can just shut off your brain and enjoy like BokuBen: Nisekoi is the show for you.
You know, harem anime... they're all the same. Just watch it.
