The most similar feature between the two animes is their visuals. Both share the same director (along with Bakemonogatari), so the cuts, frames and scenes are trated with the same flawless, colorful, detailed characters and impressive backgrounds. That is a priviledge as a viewer, and a pleasure if you have read the manga.
The storylines are not exactly related, but both are about a main male character (Ko and Raku) who, because of things that are out of his hands (health condition in Ko´s case, a family deal in Raku`s case), end up romantically attached to a woman they did not know.
