I no longer use MyAnimeList as I once used to. My main concern with this website is using this large database to discover and log anime.
As for the many activities I have conducted in the past regarding community engagement, please note it is
not in your best interest to hold whatever sentiment you may have of behaviour from these activities—whether that
be from past interactions or from visible displays from the past that are still alive—as an accurate representation of who I am.
This also includes my reviews; I mostly dislike the writing quality and potentially the reasoning as well.
My rating system is not as spiteful as it seems. The intent was to stretch out the variation in the different levels
of good anime, with 2 being the "pass" mark and higher scores signifying better quality. The belief was that, for the most part,
generally, anime series can "pass" most quality checks. Equally, most anime aren't special.
Though, in my mind, it wasn't possible to separate the passes with steadily increasing quality accurately with
7-10 scores. I understand the existence of lower ratings that don't necessarily suggest overall poor quality.
However, at the time, I never considered that notion to be legitimate.
