ANIME I DEEMED OVERRATED
1.
TATE NO YUUSHA (Bad animation and inconsistent character development; from the 2nd season, I've learned that the world building is among the worst of what I've watched)
2.
SAO II+ (Bad animation)
3.
CELLS AT WORK (Bad and flat art, boring story)
4.
GOBLIN SLAYER (Inconsistent and bad art, especially the proportion of the body)
5.
ENEN NO SHOUBOUTAI (Bad animation and art, generic story)
WORKS I THINK IS A MASTERPIECE:
MY HERO ACADEMIA (The Manga)
New type of manga which combines Japanese Manga with American Comic. I especially love how Horikoshi-sensei always seemed to have new idea on how to play with his panel. You can compare this to Murata-sensei's One Punch Man which only uses one killer image in one big page (sometimes two page. not to mention two page of panel like this in one chapter. no offense, Murata-sensei might be more suited to draw poster).

You can call Danmachi trash if you're not the Isekai person, that's fine.
You can think My Hero is a masterpiece, if you are the target audience.
But saying Fire Force has bad animation (despite the anime being trash, one of the worst story ever seen), you have to be kidding
Shield Hero is definetely one of worst animes i watched, it starts as OK then gone to bottom of abyss.
Anyway Re:Zero is 200+ Episodes very depth series. Re:Zero story, characters all are well-written and world building & lore is very good, without investing in characters you can't really get it.
Also subtext, details and depth is huge in Re:Zero.
Anyway Re:Zero will get more appreciated when it gets more seasons, some people who hated Season 1 understand it was amazing from beginning after watching Season 2 because it adds a lot context to Season 1 events.
Our anime scores are very similar just Re:Zero is exception.
Season 1 is just a prologue and Season 2 is step up everything.
