Have you ever regretted a past mistake, a choice you made, a chance you never took? These anime take that regret and build a story from it. Both follow a man who is working a dead-end job, wishing things went differently. They are randomly transported into the past and given a chance to change things. 

in both anime the mc is an adult without an employment who recieved a second opportunity, he "travel" back in the years and live his young life another time trying to achieve a better future 

So basically second chance 

Both shows are about a man in his mid-to-late 20s getting a second chance at life who has, up to this point, led a fairly disappointing adulthood and has failed to maintain a stable job getting a second chance at life and being able to re-experience their school life, whether it is high school or college respectively.  

Do note that this is basing it on the first two episodes anyways Both shows have a similar theme, going back to the past Both have themes of self improvement and motivation Both Mc's have had their struggles in life and want to get their stuff together Main difference between the two (so far) is ReLife takes place in High School and the mc only looks young whilst this show takes place in college with the mc going back 10 years in the past 

Both mc have the opportunity to relive their school life and thus develop relationships that did not live in the "original" life. 

Even us want to re-learn or re-write our future just to make sure we have no regrets in our life.  

Both shares how main character gets extra change of or second change of “life” to fix or change what they’ve regretted and what they “wished” that they should’ve or could’ve done 

It is very similar in the perspective of it. It is like Re:life + Sakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo. Let us identify the similarities to Re:Life: - He is finding a job and having a lot of struggle - It has a concept of going back in a young age to redo his mistake in the past - It has shown that the MC is struggling in current time But Bokutachi no Remake will give you amazing twist in the first episode and having 50 minutes of good quality time to watch. I fully recommend this anime and looking forward to it.  

What does it mean to be given a chance to refresh your life? Different approaches to this concept (BokuRema follows time leap, ReLIFE is a lab experiment as seen in their synopses) , but character struggles, emotions, etc. are well explored in both.  

Both anime’s are about 2nd chances to change life. Slice of life and romance themes  

the main characters are both adults and not working (unemployed). both of them are given the opportunity to return to their youth to improve their lives 

Both are very similar where the main character is given the opportunity to improve himself. 

Similar Concept, MC Getting a second chance to fix their fuc*ed up life. In my opinion, "Bokutachi No Remake" is nothing more than a rip-off of "ReLIFE" but still, you might enjoy both or none depending on your taste. 

Re-life but the guy is re-living his collage years in the past, instead of re-doing high school in the present.  

Both series have a man in his late 20s who has been pretty unlucky with finding work. Suddenly they have a chance to be younger and experience school again.This time they can fix the mistakes they made previously in life and hopefully become competent members of society. 

Both include a similar concept of redoing the past 

The main character is a man. He can go back in time. He corrects mistakes he has made in the past. Same genre: Romance, Drama, Slice of Life. 

It kinda gives off the same vibe as ReLIFE  

-MC gets a second chance to make up their life -pretty solid on the plot, ngl - MC tries to achieve what they always wanted, in ReLIFE, he tries to get to know the girl she never knew of while in Bokutachi no Remake, MC tries to earn recognition in the animation peers 

Well it is basically the same, but he reLIFEs more and I my opinion teaches better lessons and is a better story. 

Both of the main characters have the opportunity to fix their lives for the best.  

Both of the MC are similarly characterize; all about two grown men in a barrier of adulthood and go restarting to a life where they can start things from scratch and with a refreshing casting, they're not out of their comfort zone and can improve on their respective field of education plus to improve on their mentality and social skills. The difference is partly on the setting: Re-Life is located in a Japanese School while Bokutachi no Remake is located in a university so generally each of the places provides a different system that are meant to be compulsorily followed.  

Even if these two animes have a very similar starting plot, these plots take two different directions, which make that in the end, Bokutachi no Remake / Remake Our Life! only looks very much look like ReLIFE by the title, because Bokutachi no Remake takes a very different path from ReLIFE in its plot, focusing above all on the work of our hero, while ReLIFE will longer focus mainly on our hero's high school life, two different but very interesting paths, so. In conclusion, if you liked the concept of one, you will inevitably find yourself interested (and why not more) in the other! PS: ReLIFE remains in my opinion much better than Bokutachi no Remake, with a better-handled romance and a much more beautiful and satisfying ending! read more 

the same concept of time travel and redoing the past mistakes 

The MC goes back in time a few years to change how he thinks and grows as a person. Both of them reevaluate life choices, make mistakes, meet friends, and even fall in love. 

They are both about going back to school so that you can change yourself into something better. I really recommend it.  

Similarly, Bokutachi no Remake's premise is to redo one's life just like ReLIFE but with the concept of time leap theory instead of the innovative solo time rewind while being in the present that ReLIFE has done. Both are equally good

If you liked ERASED you will probably have fun with ReLIFE. I see a similar premise, the idea of turning back time (less literal in ReLIFE), and themes in these two series. ReLIFE is a bit more lighthearted than ERASED, though I suppose both have a heartwarming side. 

Though the plots are quite different, both protagonists are adults who are sent back in time to their youth. ReLIFE is humorous while Boku dake ga Inai Machi is more dark and mysterious.

Going back in time to fix mistakes 

- The Mc is the main similarity, they are both adults in their late 20's with the appearance of a much younger body. In boku dake ga inai machi because of the ability of "revival"/time travel and in Relife because of a drug being tested. Besides, Both were characters that had lost propose has they grew old, and were trapped in jobs they did not wish for. - Both Boku and ReLife manage to combine dramatic scenes with comedy. However, Boku dake ga inai machi has a more dramatic feel to it than ReLife, which is much more humorous. -Both Kayo and Chizuru, the main female characters, are outcasts and lonesome with little social skills. read more 

-The MCs are adults who become young again. (BokuMachi is through time travel, while ReLife is through taking a pill) -Both MCs fall in love with a girl, while in their younger selves. -While BokuMachi is focused on preventing murder, ReLife is about interacting with people (his classmates) so that the MC can get a job. -The plots/genres are quite different: BokuMachi being more psychological, and ReLife being more comedic. So, if you like MCs becoming their younger selves again (while retaining the mind of an adult), give these animes a go.

Both main characters have a chance to change their lives. Before going back to their's pasts they are depressed and desperate. 

ReLife and ERASED both deal with the main character reversing time to fix past mistakes. In ReLife, the main character is given the chance to experience high school again to try and help him better understand how to live his adult life, while in Boku dake ga Inai Machi the main character goes back in time to try and prevent the murder of a classmate. If you liked ReLife's idea of time altering to fix mistakes, then ERASED's usage of the same idea should appeal to you. Both shows feature relatable protagonists and storylines that are well-written and not overly cliché or cheesy. 

A MC in his late 20s is stuck at a dead end job, who lives his life daily and has no aim for his near future. However, due to unforeseeable circumstances, he is able to live his school life, which in turn not only helps ease his mind about the problems he was facing in his present life, but also helps him find a purpose in his life. And not to mention - making friends that are easily a decade younger than him! Wasn't a massive fan of the pedo vibes in Erased. ReLIFe handled that aspect much better and more realistically.  

Both MCs are adults which they changed into their younger self. Romance is present. Slight feels. Good Story. 

The main characters were both an older adult working/going through unstable situations in their lives. Until an unexpected occurrence happened to them. One is sweeter than the other in many ways vice versa. You must check this out if you like the similar anime, one is just less brutal and more relaxing than the other, likewise vice versa. 

Why not try it again? They have lived a life full of distraught and gloom. Who would pass up the opportunity to restart and cleanse the mistakes that impact their present time? Stories ReLife and Erased both understand the wants of humans who wish to go back to change what they have taken for granted. Taking the opportunity to go back to youth, protagonists of each story, Kaizaki and Satoru make the changes they seem will be fit for their future, whether it be the learning of young people actions or prevention of a mishap. The two also do this through their quiet classmates, Kayo and Hishiro, whom they befriend with hopes for bettering their pitiful lifestyle. Both are good anime with the element of time being used. Though they are two sides of the same coin, with ReLife showing the light side as a rom-com, in comparison to Erased's dark psychological murder mystery.  read more 

Both incorporate the idea of becoming your younger self in school as well as having romantic plot points in the story. Erased is more of a mystery thriller series, but both are fairly similar for the heart-warming romantic aspect of it.  

Both are based on Time Travel concept but with a very unique way which is not explained "how". In Erased it is Revival and in ReLife it is Relife as it is. Both the MC are very helpful to his friends. Both the anime have very Emotional tone and in the end it connects very deeply with the viewer.  

Both animes have an adult protagonist unhappy with his life, who gets a second chance to fix what unsatisfied him. 

Do you want to go back in time to undo something that happened in the past? Well, you have come into the right animes. Both ReLIFE and Erased showcases this theme as our main characters can go back into the past to fix some of the mistakes that they have done. For Satoru (Erased), it is to prevent bad things to happen to his elementary school classmates and also to put an end of someone's hunting. Kaizaki, on the other hand, the beloved MC in ReLife is to find meaning into his mundane life.  

I sort of get the same vibe Not the same sort of ending but they both resolve well. 

the main characters are simiar; they both went and changed the past. i can highly recommend relife if you're a fan of romcom like me. the difference between the two is, relife has romance in it while erased is mostly a mystery anime. both are good!

Both of the protagonist got the opportunity to go back in the past, to undo or redo their mistakes or what they could have done differently. 

Both stories are about an adult NEET that tries to change. Though, the story is more heartwarming in ReLIFE than NHK ni Youkoso. NHK has more darker elements and feels to it. Both are great anime for those who like realistic and relatable anime. 

Both of the series have neets / shut-ins that get help from someone and try to change themselves. 

Both have a hikomori as main character who tries to rehabilitate himself with the help of the people around him. NHK is darker and it contains alot of dark humour while ReLIFE it's kind've on the lighter side with humour and situations that are easier to digest. 

Similar setup involving a grownup guy struggling in life and gets sucked into a mysterious program that aims to better his life.  

First of all. The main characters in both of these shows are recognised as NEETs in one way or the other and they are given a chance in their lives to fix everything up. While NHK is more of a drama and sticks to reality, you may find a lot of similarities in ReLIFE which has this little mystery element to it. Anyways, if you enjoyed ReLife you will enjoy NHK. 

It's hard to get back into things after being discouraged for so long. "Welcome to the N.H.K!" and "ReLIFE" feature a NEET protagonist who has hit rock bottom. When all hope may have seemed lost, one day, they are granted an opportunity to redo their life. The situations that happen in these anime are very relatable in terms of work and adulthood. While "ReLIFE" is a bit more cheerful and drama filled in its high school setting, the tone of "Welcome to the N.H.K", however, is darker with mature themes. For those looking for realistic and relatable life situations, these are great to check out. 

Both anime revolve about a NEET main character that being supported by a complete stranger. While ReLIFE main character were supported by the government, NHK ni Youkuso! thinks that all around him was conspiracy by the government to make him NEET forever. Both great anime with tears and MANY laughter.  

Both series tell about rehabilitation of old NEET in an equally weird, funny and sometimes sad way. In both we have a cool homie and a sweet girl with whom the love thread will then be conducted. I heartily recommend this series as a ultra NHK fan! 

Both shows follow adult protagonists who have hit rock bottom and live alone in an apartment with little to support themselves. In both cases, they meet a mysterious person who is doing a program to help people readjust to society, and after thinking it over, they agree to take on the program. They also end up meeting a black-haired girl who seems to have it together by the protagonist's standards, but is soon to be revealed to have some serious issues of her own. The twist is that in "Welcome to the NHK", the person doing the program and the girl are the same person, while in "ReLife", they're different people. Personally, I think "Welcome to the NHK" is better, though both are well worth watching, especially if you enjoy mature slice-of-life anime. read more

Welcome to the NHK is a masterpiece, in my humble opinion, as i watched Relife i couldnt help but thinking back to this show. The main protaganist in both shows has serious issues he needs to deal with. Both get an opportunity to redeem themselves. How the story unfolds to help these two is quite different however. Both have lots of good humor and some drama mixed in. though i believe Welcome to the NHK is more deep and original in its story, but it is also slower placed in parts. 

Both shows have a protagonist struggling in life. Both are about regrets and second chances. 

The story that explains that the main character who tries to get out of his Otaku's life is very interesting, coupled with the comedy that complements it !. 

ReLIFE takes the lifestyle issues of a NEET towards a positive direction, showing optimistic growth. It's incredibly wholesome and does a good job managing the romantic elements. It was a real joy to watch. Welcome to NHK does the opposite for most of it's air time, however the ending does perhaps a more "realistic" growth in the main characters. It's dark and beautiful, the ending is optimistic in my view. It can be quite difficult to watch, but I think watching both shows will offer a more holistic view towards the problem of NEETdom. 

In my opinion, they both focus on life and realise the wrongs in life and to make the most of it.

Both are slice of life series with similar characters and themes. Characters are relatable and likeable, and both series are enjoyable. They both contain fluff/humour as well as slight angst. 

Both main characters are NEETs, similarly both suffer from flaws which they are trying to address. In Snafu, Hiki is able to indentify those flaws through the service club by helping out other students. Similarly in Relife, Arata is able to address those flaws by helping out students in Aoba. You would be surprised how similar they are. 

-Both are high school drama about a group of likeable characters -Main characters have a unique outlook on life -Though Yahari is definitely more realistic and has more brutal character interaction, they both give off a similar feel 

These anime attracts same kind anime fans,the fans that love struggle of a protagonist making a place for himself. To help others even though it doesn't effects him to consider himself a genius. If u love anyone of them u sure love others. 

- both protagonists with similar thoughts, always trying to help others in the most sincere way possible - address issues of high school teenagers, jealousy, romance, misunderstandings and envy - characters deep and distinct, comes charismatic and enough subjective 

School setting. Both Male MCs are highly aware of the social situation in their schools and have an interestingly adult take on them. And both the Female MCs are highly skilled in their own ways but socially inept. 

Both anime revolves around high school life,emphasizing on the relationship between characters.Enjoyable as a slice of life anime with the slow progressing plot and fun episodes.Both MC are struggling hard,to change himself and eventually change the people around him. 

>Where ReLife is a story about how an adult enters the world of high-school relationships and solves fairly simple problems, Yahari Ore is about high-school students solving very deep relationship problems, including problems with themselves >Protagonists both have antisocial tendencies. >Similarities in main Heroines >Yahari Ore, Zuko (Sequel) is absolutely incredible. 

Both shows give off similar bitter sweet mood. Main characters have tendency to have rational and a bit pessimistic view on high school romance. Chizuru has similar vibe to Yukino.  

Unsolicited gift. ReLife and Oregairu both follow individuals who at first, aren't completely brought into what they have been brought into, but with later development, use their unique intuition to help out with situations in ways one other may not do so as a first idea to mind. ReLife does this with the adult, now high schooler Kaizaki, giving tips to high schoolers about how to go around with life. Oregairu does this with a cynical Hachiman and his need to press his logic onto others. Both are interesting themes used in a way to make a memorable story. Light romance on each end too. Comedy is more so in ReLife compared to Oregairu.  read more

Both anime portray characters that are trying to "fix" their regrets in life by going back to the past. Both anime depict the effects of regret, romance, and friendship. ReLIFE and Orange have a similar vibe - outstanding comedy, drama, romance, and school life. If you enjoyed either anime, you would most likely like the other one as well. 

they have a new opportunity to make things right in school 

Both series, Orange and ReLife, do not have the same atmosphere, although they share something in common: the second chance given to the protagonist to make the right decisions as a teenager. 

Both shows explore the topic of "what would you do if you could redo a time in your life" 

-Both main protagonists are given a chance to redo their teenage life (though different methods) -Both revolve around a group of teenage characters -Both are about making decisions and their impacts on life 

Both involve an adult in his/her 20s that wants to make things right and change his/her life in highschool. The difference between them is how they approach their highschool selves. In Orange, the main charcater contacts herself 10 years in the past with a time traveling letter. In ReLIFE, the main character becomes a highschooler again instead of contacting himself through time travel. ReLIFE doesn't really have actual time travel. Also they both have plenty of romance and drama, but Orange has way more of those while ReLIFE tends to focus more on comedy and not so much on the drama. 

Both Series possessed the same story that the main characters have a sense of regret when they were teenagers and they got a second chance to improve their lives for the better as a teenager to have no regrets in the future 

People in both animes are given a chance to fix something (personality change or avoiding tradegy). Most of the time everything goes around group of friends. Both MCs have difficult and sad backstories. Everyday school life with romance in groups. 

Time. Both Orange and ReLife share the similarity of individuals who go beyond scientific laws via the change in the flow of time, done so for the purpose of remodelling their future for a desirable one without the flaws and regrets they grew along the way. Orange does this with Naho and her circle of friends receiving letters from their future self telling them the dangers that lie ahead, ReLife does this with Kaizaki returning to the past, in a time which makes or breaks his life, trying to revive lost qualities within him. Both also feature a quiet individual too, being Kakeru and Hishiro in their respective category. Both are good romance anime with the theme of change for the better. ReLife has more comedy than the much more dramatic Orange.  read more 

The First anime focuses on the main character Naho getting adressed by a letter from her future self in the next 10 years while the Latter anime has the main character Kaizaki obtain a pill to turn back 10 years of just his appearance and not the timeline, turning to a 17 year old looking kid. While both anime focus on the perspective of the MCs gone wrong in the future they have got another chance to change their regretful destinies, where Naho has to look out for Kakeru, on the other hand Kaizaki has to cope out with the new high school life. Both seem to be a cup of romance, slice of life and comedic heartwarming experience , feeling similar on addressing their pasts. read more 

Both are high school slice of life series involved romance and experiment elements. Both of the characters are mentally grown up after overcoming the issue of jealousy, romance, misunderstandings and envy. 

Both are romcom-esk about highschool students in a school setting. They revolve around somewhat sci-fi-ish plot devices, although in varying degrees. Relife has the medicine to set up the whole story, while kokoro connect has multiple of these incidents to encourage character interaction. ReLIFE's characters are more obvious to read, and the character developments are all spelled out for you, while Kokoro Connect's are more subtle at times and may require some brains. Kokoro Connect has more teenage melodrama than ReLIFE, but ReLIFE brings up more philosophical themes. Overall, I recommend the manga for those who liked relife (start around chapter 109), and for those who liked Kokoro Connect, make sure to watch the Michi Random OVAs for the whole experience. read more 

explore relationships between people, how they deal with certain problems, etc 

These shows are about similar tropes; ReLIFE is about becoming young again while kokoro connect is about a body switch. Both these tropes are really about living life in somebody else's shoes. Kokoro connect has a more satisfying ending, but if you enjoy these kinds of tropes then I would not skip ReLIFE. 

Both use highschool as a vehicle for an exploration of philosophy, with the main characters being monitored so that they will learn important lessons from the challenges they face. Both series have a very similar feel to them. 

Both series shows a group of highschoolers during their time in high school. Protagonists experience weird things happening to their bodies and it changes their point of view and brings them closer together. 

ReLIFE is a good anime for those who just watched Kokoro Connect, in both we are involved in the school age of the characters and we have counted peaks of the drama of the story. 

The plots aren’t completely different dealing with the mental workings of highschool students but both are completely different in how this is done. Connect uses the body swapping to under stand the personalities of the characters and help them over come past trauma whereas relife is a friend on the side trying to help his fellow peers. Both are comedic in execution and all characters are likeable in both. Personally I found myself relating Connect to Relife whilst watching the showing and drawing parallels between characters like Kariu and Iori.  

Both are psychological taking place in high school, and in both - a supernatural thing happens disrupting the daily lives of a selected few. Both stories' approach deals with the main characters' weak points while observing the effort they put to overcome their problems. 

Both include some sort of unusual twist to the common high school setting. The relationships between characters evolve throughout both plots and there are similar emotions involved in one of the arcs of Kokoro connect to the general feel of ReLife. 

Both are kinda RomCom like, and are about highschoolers dealing with life. Gives you that fuzzy feeling deep down. 

They're really great and deep shows. Both hits the viewer with the difficulty of being part of a society, which wait the right moment to eat you. Sometimes we're not enough, other times we can make it. Sakurasou and ReLife are like a train of emotions, positive and negative, that hits you in the face: they make you laugh, cry and think. If you enjoyed Sakurasou, try Re:Life!  

Central theme/focus of both anime is normal people going through normal life dealing with normal people problems. They are both extremely realistic in their depiction of high school students, to the point that it may frustrate some viewers. Frequently, characters will face set backs or problems, they won't know how to fix it, and will make it even worse for themselves. Often, problems will not be solved in one or two episodes, and some underlying tensions can linger or build up for over half a season. These issues are never dismissed, and always explored fully, meaning that not every solution will be successful, and no problem they face ever just goes away. These are real people problems, and the characters have to confront them completely and fix it for themselves. Another theme both share is learning to live and deal with friends who are exceptionally talented and successful, while they themselves face the failures and inadequacies that regular people have. Characters from both series have to confront their own feelings of jealousy, inferiority, and worthlessness in order to grow as young adults and strengthen their bonds of friendship. The main difference between the two shows is perspective. Sakurasou's main protagonist a normal teen surrounded by extraordinary people. It it shown directly from the perspective of someone who has to deal with his own shortcomings and inabilities, while living in a place full of geniuses. ReLife's main protagonist is physically 17, but mentally 27 years old. He is a character who has 10 more years of life experience than everyone else around him. ReLife's story revolves around the naivety and feelings of everyone around him. Thus it is told from the perspective of someone who is not only indirectly involved, but also detached emotionally. Thus, Relife's main character is able to navigate through these issues calmly and rationally, while serving as a guiding/senior figure to all his classmates. As a result of the different perspectives, Sakurasou is probably more painful or hard to watch at times than ReLife. In Sakurasou, the emotional pain is dealt directly to the main character, and we watch directly as he implodes. In ReLife, this detachment allows the viewer to have a more sage perspective like the main character. Thus, the issues the other characters deal with feel less serious, more juvenile, and ultimately quite ridiculous. And in reality, both anime are about teens in high school. When you are the student, high school means everything. Every decision is as important as your life. But after walking away from it for a while, one comes to the realization that most of the things that happened back then were pretty silly and completely irrelevant to real life. read more

Both are school life anime about a young man with no particularly outstanding skills who gets thrust into an environment of wacky people due to certain circumstances. Sorata and Arata have similar sounding names and serve as the straight man to the rest of the cast, while Mashiro and Chizuru are very smart but also socially awkward and borderline emotionless, as well as having the same seiyu (Ai Kayano). In both cases, the two main characters fall in love with each other overtime. Jin and Ryo act as an advisor to the main character but have a couple of traits that get on their nerves (Jin's a womanizer while Ryo enjoys winding Arata up), while Misaki and An are both very cheerful girls who are smarter than they look and act. Nanami and Rena are also quite similar, in that they're both popular and independent girls who face similar challenges over the story, though Nanami is undeniably nicer and more well-adjusted than Rena is. Even Ryunosuke and Kazuomi are similar- they're both voiced by Blake Shepard, are very intelligent and are often blunt and insensitive towards others, though Kazuomi is often unaware he's been rude, while Ryunosuke knows full well he's being rude but just doesn't care. Both shows also deal with similar themes, the most obvious being that life doesn't always go the way you want it to, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't keep trying and hoping for the best. The main difference between them is that "Sakurasou" is more lighthearted than "ReLife", while also being more grounded in reality. Both are well worth watching, though I prefer "Sakurasou" overall. read more 

Both shows have a Kuudere heroine in a high school setting and both have similar drama and comedy elements.  

Outsider. ReLife and Sakurasou both follow individuals who have been kicked out of the normal way of life and now are in the dumps of life thus far. The two Kaizaki and Sorata then find themselves partnered with a rather calm and quiet outlier to the band of schoolmates, being Mashiro and Hishiro. Both anime are about the things different people go through, with Sakurasou doing this via issues one as within their lifetime, ReLife doing this through the younger ones school problems that arise from time to time. Good rom-com all around, with ReLife having some elements of sci-fi and s.o.l compared to Sakurasou's pure s.o.l  

A life in high school as problem solver! The main character gets a second chance in/after their life. In his new life in high school, he makes friends fast. He's focused on solving his friends' problems. 

Reliving high school lives and solve problems those around the MCs. Great comedy and dramatic scenes. Friendship and romance.  

- Both are composed of slice of life genre, with high school setting - Both involves the preciousness of memories, how fragile and beautiful they are - Both are spiced up with a bit of romcom - Both has a bittersweet ending that leaves you crave for more - Both brings life lessons on how actions can leave impact on others - Both touched on memories and regret  

In both of these series the protagonist gets an opportunity to re-evaluate their lives in a high school setting and both series have a sad twist to the ending.  

Reforge. ReLife and Angel Beats both follow individuals who want to reforge what had been a loathing life ahead of them. Breaking all kinds of natural laws the stories scroll out how these characters will change in a time of high school. ReLife does this with Kaizaki taking the ReLife experiment in order to retrieve lost values and get a job right after. Angel Beats uses Otonashi and his experience with the SSS and their wants in getting revenge on God for their horrible lives. Both are good anime with comedy to add to them. Though AB has more action compared to a chiller s.o.l ReLife is.  

Both deal with the idea of teenagers who are dealing with forms of regret or emotional struggle, but through the help of the protagonist, they attempt to resolve the issue through means of reflection and emotional support.  

Both have highly emotional endings. Relife has an amazing cast and main characters. Emotional roller coaster of an anime but easily my favourite romance/ slice of life by far, give it a try! 

The main characters' personalities and dynamics are similar. If you like one of them you might also like the other one. 

The comedy is similar and so are a lot of the characters. They also have a similar feel to them. The difference is that Kimi ni Todoke has more romance. 

Shows that explore social connections and challenges in adolescent life. Oodles of romance in both, as well as more realistic character interactions. Both spectacular in regards to animation styles and character development. Similar awkward, shy girl characters that are pivotal to plot development. Wonderfully simple yet engaging. 

Basically Kimi Ni Todoke is ReLIFE sans Sci-Fi (Appearance/Age altering). Kimi Ni Todoke has More romance and friendship. Yet ReLIFE got more motivational matters. Kimi Ni Todoke is centered around the girl (Sawako) which is basically much like Hishiro. If you like this kind of girl (kuudere like or whatever), I highly recommend this series (Kimi Ni Todoke) All of them is both cute, refreshing, relaxing, and yet still pack a message. Have fun! 

The romance is similar as well as comedy. The girl has a creepy smile and she is isolated to the class then later the whole class starts to be friendly to her. Entertaining and fun to watch. The guy helps the isolated girl to be friendly to her classmates as well as other people. 

its basically the same an awkward girl fall in love with a charismatic boy. both dont know a way to smile and the smile is pretty much awkward. and with the hint of background love story. however there are differences as well.  

Both series are romances that make you feel extra warm inside. Tackles similar working world adult problems. 

Very similar classical romance anime (with a modern and cute MMO twist!) about working adults that aren't entirely content with their lives. Like with Net-juu, these adults take on different faces of a new life, in this case a program that turns them into highschoolers again, and stumble into romance along the way through a lot of coincidence. They then have to figure out how to make a relationship work despite all these hurdles and help each other grow as individuals. Both are rather stereotypical and clichéd setups, but are pretty well executed and always left me smiling at the end of every episode. 

Both these two anime series revolve around an adult who decided to quit their respective jobs and become a 'NEET'. An event occurs that causes them to change how they interact with other people. They both contain the genre Romance, hinting at the fact that they meet someone special due to that particular event. 

The mc in both shows are having a problem with their job Both shows are about recovery of the mc in new society (online game in Net-juu no Susume and school in ReLIFE) where they get some very nice friends Similar vibe 

Both MC has troubles in their past work so both MC is a NEET. Both series is kinda different but it has the social element. Rhe comedy of both series is funny. 

Both are romantic stories about adults who have 'lost their way' in life, finding their way again and connecting through a medium that helps them explore their best selves  

Both the animes involve interaction between high school students and working age people due to various circumstances 

Guidance. ReLife and Higehiro tell a story of guidance, such that it is in a relatable fashion relative to the two anime rather than real life, in what is a story of essentially an old guy directing younger ones to some kind of better future. ReLife uses time travel aspects in comparison to Higehiro's more social issues. One should also note that ReLife takes upon high schoolers' issues to solve rather than Higehiro dramatic specific girl's story in her life at school and outside of it, it, in turn, makes Higehiro darker than the light push ReLife offers to multiple characters in its own story. With Higehiro being more cheesy and polarising compared to a generally well-acclaimed ReLife.  read more 

A story about how an adult has learned some life lessons from people ten years younger from them. 

Without going into major spoiler territory, both stories mislead the audience by initially revolving its plot around an adult man who's unhappy in life who gets into some sort of taboo relationship with a high school girl, who we later learn is struggling to find happiness in life as well. Both shows take a good turn and end up not being so taboo after all, and both pairs respectively help each other set their life back on track, especially mentally and romantically. Both shows, while appearing taboo, are surprisingly wholesome and inspiring.

Plot and the pace feels similarly, both MC wants to change his ways plus both have they serious moment and comedy moments. When I watched the PV of Relife I saw at same time it was going to has some similarly with Golden Time. 

ReLIFE is a better, slightly science fictional take on a similar premise, some of the same themes, and even plot developments. It's essentially about a young adult trying to start his life over. 

Both are about romance and the story between the Main Characters (MC). Characters have different personalities but are given certain situations. Such as both Male MC had something happen to them which made them find someone they eventually will love. Female characters seems to be very different. But it's a recommendation not finding two of the same animes, so I would try this out. 

Both ReLIFE and Golden Time feature characters dealing with personal issues and emotional struggles while trying to move forward in their lives. They both explore themes of self-discovery and personal growth, and feature well-developed characters that viewers can easily relate to. 

Confliction. Both ReLife and Golden Time have the MC face some kind of internal conflict with themselves due to prior events. ReLife does this with Kaizaki and his failed adult life, as well as prior job experiences. Golden Time does this with Tada and his prior life he gets flashbacks to. Both MCs really get to take a retry with life as Tada has amnesia and Kaizaki is doing the experiment. Both are good rom-com I would recommend to all. Same amount of drama too.  

Both series deal with the theme of memory-loss-of-loved-person. Both stories are excellent, though out of the two I would give top the top score to ReLIFE - just because its characters were more likable and the story was more touching. 

High school romcoms with fantastically developed characters. ReLIFE has the age-reversal twist to it, but lacks the satisfying conclusion of Toradora. 

Both are romance and comedy, the couples of both series is interesting. Plot is about struggles and how life goes for MCs. 

Toradora and ReLIfe don't have a lot in common, though they are good rom-com with the same amount of development speed and drama you can hate or love. 

High School life with great character and story development. Both of the anime are well paced , akso the male MCs in both anime are more intelligent(socially) than people give them credit at first. If you are looking for high school romantic comedy than this is it.  

Meeting someone in a bizarre fashion who ends up impacting your life in a big way 

!First Recommendation! I realized ReLIFE had similar feels with Kimi no Na wa. on the latter part of the series (including the OVA). If you're feeling empty after watching Kimi no Na wa., i recommend watching ReLIFE next! It's like ReLIFE somehow filled part of the void that Kimi no Na wa. left. 

It is also a romcom where the lovers forget each other because of certain reasons [I'm not going to spoil it].  

uh basically relife did your name but better. they both end with two people trying to remember each other's name (if thats considererd a spoiler im very sorry). i really enjoyed watching both, so i recommend watching them 

- Both anime deal with teenage drama, relationships and friendship - Both anime are about a scientific experiment to make society better - Both have similar personalities of characters (Chizuru and Katsuhira, Kariu and Tenga....etc) - Both MCs have a dark hidden past 

-Both involve an experiment that is meant to bond people -Both are about growing up and making difficult decisions -Both have a traumatic mess up in which the main character was involved prior to the timeline of the show 

both have an emotionless, awkward character that tries to make friends and be interested in other people both are about growing and growing up, making tuff decisions, hidden feelings and friendship both give a similar feeling off recommend both! they are equally awesome!  

Advice. Bunny Girl Senpai and ReLife both follow two individuals who seem like an outlier to the equation but do have their purposes which helps multiple people around them. Bunny Girl Senpai does this through Sakuta and his advice to the heroines struggling with Puberty Syndrome. ReLife does this with Kaizaki's real-life experiences from when he was older, influence the many teens he stands besides from the ReLife experiment Both are good rom-com, with supernatural/sci-fi elements to their plot.  

Both shows have that bond between the main characters from the start. Both also have the supernatural, element, but both boil down to a cute highschool romance. 

Both anime has mature level-headed main characters who try to guide their friends to grow as people. Both are set in high school with a little bit of mystery sprinkled into the plot. While Bunny Girl Senpai's focus is on the supernatural and its implications, ReLIFE instead refers to the supernatural sparingly with more of a focus on character development and interactions. 

Development. ReLife and Charlotte follow two individuals who at first seem to have allowed the worst to get the most of them, but with aligning themself with the correct circle of friends, they are able to go past their mistakes be it in the current moment or the past, and try to make better decisions with their lives. ReLife does this with Kaizaki taking the ReLife experiment to retrieve some qualities once lost within him. Charlotte does this with Yuu transferring to Hoshinoumi to use his powers to help others. Both are good comedy anime, though ReLife has more romance than Charlotte's drama.

Learning experience. Sometimes the time at school can bring around the most lessons to one without them knowing. ReLife and Tsukigakirei do precisely that with this path of showing a learning experience for all characters within the story, revolving around school activities such as relationships and friendships. ReLife following neet Kaizaki take the ReLife experiment in which allows him to regain the things he had one lost at a period of high school, as well as this, the quiet Hishiro he spends time with also learns about social interactions for the sake of her improvement. Tsukigakirei focuses on the junior high relationship of Akane and Kotarou, following the different hardships and flusters that come along with them. Both are good romance anime with ReLife being about a supernatural comedy to add onto, Tsukigakirei being dramatic.  read more 

both are romances that take place at school, also have a slower pace and less noisy than romantic/romcom animes in general 

Focuses on a character who is granted a chance to go back into the past, providing them an opportunity to take back what was lost and for them to relive the life they could've had. Both have a school setting; however, the personalities of the main character as different. Nevertheless, the two can still give the same feelings and vibes as both incorporate the same concept at some point from the series. 

- Both MCs lead boring, uneventful, colorless lives and are given the chance of a lifetime to experience things they have never seen and another chance to live their life. - Cast of secundary characters have similar personalities. - Has that similar wholesome feeling. - Both are adventures full of magic, and adventure as well as love life. 

These two series show a young man that gets to live a different way that he was used to, that discovers again an innocent and hopeful way of life. Kind of the same refreshing feeling watching both of these series. 

Both shows have adult main characters trying to reflect on their life and better themselves. 

-romance/drama/sliceoflife -beautiful and cute characters -teenager high school romance -light and comforting to watch Horimiya has a more deep drama and romance than Relife, both of them are really good and has 12 episodes. You can binge them in a day! 

-Both are rom-coms -Both focuses on the relationship of not only the main duo but also the supporting cast around them -MC and Main girl personalities are somewhat switched -Relife is not as lovey-dovey but gets there towards the end (be sure to watch the specials) -Satisfying ending for ReLIFE and also for Horimiya ( manga is more satisfying tho so be sure to read the ending there after watching this ) 

- Slice of life centering a group of friends without excessive drama - Warm interaction between characters that makes you want to join in - Comedy with change of art and spot-on dialogue - A heart-warming romance of two ships - Bittersweet scent. ( mostly sweet ) 

- Both involve the development of a tight-knit group of friends - Great chemistry between the cast - Beautiful art! Different art styles but both very, very pleasing to the eye - Perfect comedy sandwiched between dialogue - Clear of (almost) all unnecessary drama - Both are 10/10 imo - Two "couples" in both 

Both MCs are deadbeats that somehow end up going back in time. Tokyo Revengers is more intense n involves a lot of delinquents/fight scenes, REALLY GOOD!!

They both talk about a drug that reduces the main character of both stories to 10 years back 

These anime attracts same kind anime fans,the fans that love struggle of a protagonist making a place for himself. To help others even though it doesn't effects him to consider himself a genius. If u love anyone of them u sure love others. 

Romance shows with great characters and character chemistry. Kaibutsu-kun is more of a comedy while ReLife is more of a drama, though both shows contain elements of both genres, and end up feeling very similar. 

Finding out how precious life is. 

This is similar because in the show major things happends to the main character. And they both deal with time. Its also similar because the characters are kinda of alike  

Both involve someone having to relive school days with memories from a past life. 

I suppose the only thing I can actually recommend with these two is how people of said age behave. They both have these realistic teenagers that do teenager things in the most teenager way. But with both, there comes some lessons and morals of the stories to be taken along the way. ReLife does this with Kaizaki basically being the advisor in disguise, teaching kids not to do so and so. FB does this with the actual characters learning along the way. Both are pretty good stories if you are a fan of the genre. FB is more serious compared to ReLife's rom-com format.  

The only similarity really is that the two protagonists, Kaizaki and Rikuo are in an impasse position, with one of the two being a neet and the other stuck, away from what could have been a better life. The two come across as much more relatable than anything else. ReLife feels more like a fantasy of an idea due to time travel compared to the s.o.l that is Sing "Yesterday" For Me Both are good romance anime with ReLife featuring comedy to add on, Sing "Yesterday" For Me being a drama. 

Both series involves a middle aged protagonist who is depressed in his life because social pressure and hardships... Both series gives the chance to the protagonist to experience his life once again with learning from their previous life's mistakes Where one with fantasy set-up and other with normal world set-up  

Comedic aura. The side character has a crush on a girl. The MC is dense to the girl who actually likes him. 

There aren't really any converges between the two series. More so that ReLife and Monthly Girls seem to share the same kind of comedy and band of friends whilst presenting their stories. Would recommend both for light-hearted fun, though ReLife tends to be more serious at times than Monthly Girls chaos. Try ReLife for some jump back to the past, or Monthly Girls for a mangaka's experience.  

IF u're looking for romance and sol anime like 'say i love you' than relife is perfect i guess.  

High school romance with compelling characters. In my opinion Relife is easily one of if not the best romance with an incredible plot and character interactions. Couldn't recommend more for anyone who likes romances

Main character like Komi-san, who has problems in communicate. The story about how they make a friend with others. 

Time travel related - ReLife is short (13 episodes) and would't disappoint you! Story takes place in high school. Watch this if you want something chill and not all serious with its emotional rollercoaster.
