Both male protagonists look very similar and begin stuck at a deadend part-time job. Both series also focus on their relationships with the people around them. I got really similar vibes to ReLife in this first episode of Yesterday wo Utatte.

The only similarity really is that the two protagonists, Kaizaki and Rikuo are in an impasse position, with one of the two being a neet and the other stuck, away from what could have been a better life.
The two come across as much more relatable than anything else. ReLife feels more like a fantasy of an idea due to time travel compared to the s.o.l that is Sing "Yesterday" For Me
Both are good romance anime with ReLife featuring comedy to add on, Sing "Yesterday" For Me being a drama.
