There aren't really any converges between the two series. More so that ReLife and Monthly Girls seem to share the same kind of comedy and band of friends whilst presenting their stories.
Would recommend both for light-hearted fun, though ReLife tends to be more serious at times than Monthly Girls chaos. Try ReLife for some jump back to the past, or Monthly Girls for a mangaka's experience.
