Hello, huzzah, and welcome! Ok that's enough about me, here's why you're really here: anime.
I rate at an Asian grade like scale.
10-Perfect. Pretty much impossible to get. I'll see if something blows me away enough one day for this score, and it would probably be something that's close to my ideals (like ideas or morales that I value or am really invested in/close to are realized in some anime). It'll probably end up just being one of my favorite animes tho since unless I get to make my own anime one day (haha nope)...
9-Damn near perfect. Super captivating (or at least something I look foward to) and definitely rememberable. I recommend to practically everybody. Asian dad is proud.
8-Great. It was cool. Totally digged it yo. I enjoyed it, and it was different. If you are interested in it then I recommend it. Asian dad is neutral.
7-Meh/average. It is forgetable or at least had some attributes that distracted me from truly enjoying it. Good time waster but nothing great. Watch it if you want. Asian dad is displeased.
6-Ew. There were definitely things that just did not work out for this anime and it is maybe enjoyable to some or had some things good but tiresome. Can't recommend personally. Asian dad is dishonored.
5-Ugh. Just no. This series is not worth the time or investment. Or it was a letdown. Either way, bad. Disreccomended. Asian dad disowns.
4/3-Idk really, like it must be PRETTY bad to get down here. I think there are definitely anime that go here, but I can usually tell by 1/2 episodes into watching them or just by glancing at their synopsis/cover and don't even bother adding them to my list or watching them in the first place.
2/1-Wretched defilement on the name of anime. Burn in the 7th circle of hell! Nothing worked out, everything was a train wreck from start to finish. Honestly nothing should reach this low, but I feel like if I looked hard enough, something will find its way down here.
My top genres are probably (but definitely do not limit my anime watching): Psychological, Supernatural, Mystery, Drama, Thriller, Comedy, Magic, Horror, Seinen, Action (but not senselessly so). That's a long list so instead I'll tell you what I hate.
I hate: useless/ignorant things (tons of filler episodes (some are ok), characters, motives), really weird yaoi-esque type animation where all the guys have long faces and super pointy chins, feminine-looks, or whatnot (ahem, studio deen...), and overrated bs LIKE GODAMN ONE PUN-I accept all comments and criticism, as long as it is constructive and professional (oppai). But seriously though. Thanks for reading all this mess.
