I am a Bleach fan and I have notices so many similarities when I have started watching Jujutsu Kaisen. Characters (both personality and apperance-wise), atmosphere of the universe, how the events occur and such... So I decided to search up for it and I saw I wasn't alone thinking like this. There is an interview made with both series mangakas and apparently, Jujutsu Kaisen's mangaka said they decided to write a manga after they have read Bleach for the first time. Mangaka openly said they have influenced from Bleach. I guess that's enough reason to check it out Bleach if you like Jujutsu Kaisen. You  read more

Naruto and Bleach both synomonous with action animes. when you hear bleach the next anime that you would think of would be naruto... if you like it that is. they both are epic anime with outstanding character devlopement and plots so intricate you might would who were the brillant minds to think of this (I did anyway...) also there is some comic relief, a little bit of romance, and tons of serious parts too. and they're great for anyone

Fighting and great character development. Because of the expanse of different characters, there is bound to be one (or a couple) that instantaneously become your favorite.

Both deal with supernatural evils and both fight with swords that each character has as a unique fighting style with. The set up of the warriors ranks and titles are very similar for both the good and bad sides. When watching this show my mind kept screaming Bleach (In a good way) and I think anyone who enjoyed Demon Slayer should at least give Bleach a look and vice versa.

Both are about boys who meet a woman and gain the ability to fight in her world. Without giving too much away the story lines have similarities with character and plot development. Busou Renkin is however not as serious as Bleach, which is refreshing and also has a good end point.

Well... Both are adventures of inumerous characters, each one with his own power and distinct personality, against the evil guys. I didn't get this part of the anime yet, but people said me that it has fillers like all those other similar series (as Naruto, Dragon Ball, etc...). For me, these animes are all the same after all...

Simular setting as soul eater: Shinigami fighting monsters who feed of human souls. Comedy, action and romance elements are also present in both series. The animation style is different though, soul eater has cartoonesk elements while bleach has a more common animation style

Both have a group of people or beings that are dedicated to disposing a certain group of evil. They both have a really nice storyline.

Similar premises of Magic Knights and Soul Reapers being in squads that serve their respective countries. The creator of Black Clover stated that Bleach was an inspiration for his series.

Shonen anime....both about the main character wanting to protect their friends/nakama. In order to do that they strive to become stronger and learn from others.

Noragami is like Bleach without all the fillers. The main characters meet in a similar way, one of them (Ichigo/Hiyori) gets a power thanks to the other one (Rukia/Yato). In both animes they fight against ghosts/monsters and there are more characters that come from a different world where it's quite normal to have the powers to see (and fight) those monsters.

Bleach and Fairy Tail are both action packed but with a bit of humor slipped in. With pretty much unstoppable heroes the action is constant and both stories could seemingly go on forever. Both heroes travel and fight with groups and have a close feeling of comradery for the group members.
report Recommended by deebdev
Both of these Anime have fighting scenes, sword play and monsters that need to be taken care of. There is also the theme of hell, less played up in Bleach. One of the major themes is protecting others, and another is being accepted for who you are.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Both male leads meet mysterious girls who have knowledge of things beyond the normal world. Flame Hazes are basically Shinigami and Torches are similar to ghosts.
report Recommended by Karura
Many similarities between both series. There's young typical boy who is attending school, but after few minutes, we can see, that there's much more about him and that's not to be only his delinquent's habits. First episode shows us characters from different world, who came to our place, because of their own reasons. I didn't read manga, but I think, there will be many many more charas, so we are receiving another "never ending story".

Bleach is clearly inspired in Saint Seiya and this is more noticeable in the Soul Society saga which is very similar to the 12 Gold Saints Saga. The Bleach Captains looks a lot with 12 Gold Saints, both looks "unbeatable" and the power gab between the protagonist and they are initially giant.

TONS of Bleach references in Gintama, also the characters are similar and both have that punk-shonen feel!

Both have lots of sword fights with samurai or ppl who look like sumurai and have to deal with demon slaying

it occurs in the west branch of soul society but also the fact that it holds the feeling of a Tite Kubo work with great fights, waifus and animation.
report Recommended by ShinXShinra
Both animes treat them of samurais and both characters want to have to be able more to protect the people that them more they love. They struggle for the justice and no matter how strong the enemy is, they never abandon the battlefield and nor they give up the fight, taking a risk their own lives to save the people.

While Bleach and naruto achieved massive popularity outside Japan, Kekkaishi seems very underrated outside Japan. Consistently in the top 10 in terms of viewership in Japan, kekkaishi shares the same shounen genre as its other more popular counterparts. while it does not boast legions of characters or long names for techniques, it takes the simple and often overlooked technique, the kekkai and expands it, giving it a fresher twist.

Both of these shows have male characters who start out as the rookie, but quickly acquire skills. The main character in both end up battling it out with increasingly powerful opponents and then often make friends with these opponents afterwards. Both have supporting friends who are not as powerful, but help out all they can. Air Gear definitely shares that similar shounen/action vibe.

They are similar by the share intensity of each and every episode. You just want more and more. Its kind of hard holding back untill two episodes go past. But in comparison these two are both great

Similar in many ways: Hollow = Trion Soldiers Arrancar = Neighbor Seireitei = Border The only major difference is Bleach have only 1 protagonist(Ichigo) while World Trigger have 2 protagonists(Yuma and Osamu/dual protagonist sort of thing)

it's got the fantastic fights that go on for episodes at a time, it has the fantastic plots, defeating enemies ten times stronger than you, losing, then training then winning, the main character always faced with constant challenges, when i watched this, i couldn't help but think that i hadn't seen such a good fighting anime since DBZ. though many of the characters are nothing like each other, the style of the anime's are the same, if you enjoyed DBZ, go for bleach!

In bleach, when a human dies it either becomes a whole, whole, a person whole goes to the soul society, or they become a wandering spirt, which then turns into a hollow when they are preyed on by a hollow, or stay in the human world for too long. Ichigo, the main character of Bleach had a vendetta with a certain hollow in one of the first few episodes, much akin to the main character of Shingeki no Kyojin. Also both the main characters are very determined, stubborn, and bear a will of steel.

Long shounen anime filled with action, comedy, and plenty of similarities, both in style, characters, and plot. In both, the male protagonists are normal students at the beginning, but pretty soon they gain a death-related super power in an almost identical manner (Ichigo becomes a Shinigami after being hit by Rukia/Tsuna gets his power after being shot in the head by Reborn). Bleach is more on the supernatural side, while Reborn is about the mafia world.

The characters in both shows are the kind that pull one along in the story, wondering what will happen to them next.

In addition to having a similar premise, Shaman King also has an offbeat feel to it, just like Bleach. If you can sit through a few of the early episodes(Which try to be Yu Yu Hakusho meets Yugioh), a great adventure show waits just beneath the surface. Both shows have a unique protagonist.

Both anime are based on the supernatural and contain a very likable male lead. Both are high action, very high comedy, and have impeccable animation. Both also have a lot of in-depth backstory that draws the audience in.

Two main characters that are both extremely overpowered. Other than Saitama, whose journey is literally to find someone who can beat him, Ichigo seems to be one of the quickest Shounen protags in developing his skills. He just seems gifted from the being.

Young delinquentish main character fight against fashion models and uses same powers as his enemies. Some dudes don't like it so he fight them and blah-blah-blah-blah-blah...

Similar premise, both involve demons/hollows and have similar weaponry that is reminiscent of bleach with weapon enhancements and a similar bow and arrow to the ones Quincy's used in Bleach. Both have strong male lead characters and deal a lot with morals and honor.

Bleach and Kuroko no Basuke have a lot of similarities, even thought they pretty different in concept. Both of them have some sort of supernatural elements, every character have his own uniqe ability and it all filled with similar type of humor. Some characters personalities and even their design sometimes looks really alike. Both features bishonens, so if you watch it solely for pretty boys, you won't be disapointed.

People that like Bleach and also like (mild) Shounen Ai, might also like Monochrome Factor! There are a lot of things similar! The main character is a young boy that can see things that others can't, and he has to transform to fight them. Also, Bleach & Monochrome Factor have both funny scenes & fighting scenes.

The main character of both series acquires a power of another creature without him really wanting it. Due to this his whole life changes and he has to adept to his power and learn to live it. That's not all, now people also want to kill him. If you like dark action based stories, then you should watch these anime. The action and powers in htem are very cool and exciting!

Both are supernatural anime, have samurai organizations who fight some monsters (in Hakuouki they are humanoid monsters), so far from first episode of Hakuouki samurai seem to have special powers. Most of samurai in Hakuouki tend to have some similarities with Byakuya, the clishe samurai. Hakuouki gives of darker and more serious impression then Bleach. I highly recommend both...

Bleach has Shinigami and Hollows, Yumekui Merry has Dreams. Hollows who escape from Hueco Mundo are bad, and Dreams who escape the Dreamworld are bad. During Yumekui Merry, there are times when the exact same music from Bleach is used. Not all Dreams are bad though. Some of them fight against other Dreams to protect humans, like Shinigami do to Hollows.

Sword fighting and mysterious monsters, the central theme in both of these series. The main character is on a quest to kill monsters because he wants to make the world a better place to live in. Both of them also get thrown in a situation they weren't expecting and make new friends. The world they live in is ruthless and they have to learn how to survive in order to progress towards their goal.

These two animes are similar in many different ways - Both main characters are transfered to another world - The main character joins in on the fight in the other world - The main character is stronger than any other people in the world -Both fight with swords (though they are used less in Kiba) -Both main characters have a smart friends who at one point is an enemy, and is stronger than most - The main character saves the other world

Similar style of story, supernatural powers, shinigami reference, and antagonists of each main arc whose role are identical. Not to mention that the main characters Yusei and Ichigo both are powerful who is essential to saving the world from evil.

Very similar themes of chivalry and what it means to be a hero. Emphasis on souls and powers associated with personality. Story is short but insanely well done.

Typical characters from their genres (and in general) fighting strange demons from another world. Not bad but not good supernatural/action/super power anime. One of the female protagonists do not know how to fight and the main male protagonist wants to protect that female protagonist that don't know how to fight. Main male protagonist was your typical, usual teenage boy until the present. (present=until the anime starts or until a few episodes)

Supernatural killings bring about both stories born from suffering, or threat of a family member. Introduction of the characters from then on stem from the supernatural occurrence.
report Recommended by Kurenai_Ichi
In both shows, the main protagonist gets a whole new view of the world. Namely through Magic/Alchemy and Death Gods/Restorations. They end up in a difficult plot, which can get themselves or the people they want to protect killed. Both situations get out of control as a higher evil organization starts to meddle. Both action-packed, with the needed amount of humor and variaty of characters.

Trigun is a hilarious comedy but when the going gets tough for the characters it gets serious. They are both very similar. Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach is trying to save the world from evil spirits called Hollows. Vash the Stampede from Trigun is trying to save himself from the brink of INSANITY!

Both the Anime have a dark story line that progressively gets darker. The latter style of Bleach is similar to the style Kamisama Dolls has. On top of this one of the characters is very similar to Ichimaru Gin... they're both creepy in similar manners. It is also about fighting to protect what you care about.

A shounen with a, in my opinion, little more mature approuch than Bleach, sacrificing a little bit of fighting for a lot more psychology etc. A must-watch in my opinion!

Somehow some character designs made me think of Bleach. Also the 'Branch of Sin' ability in Deadman Wonderland made me think of 'Bankai' in Bleach. They're both skills multiple characters can perform, but it depends on the character how it actually can be used in battle.

Both these series are based heavily in their fight scenes, and they make the fight scenes look GOOD. They have their comedic moments and tragic moments. And the colours in the god of high school are very vivid, making each panel amazing pieces of art. It is similar to bleach in the way that despite it's huge cast, all the characters are fleshed out and well developed. I highly recommend The God Of High School as well as giving bleach, the legendary member of the big 3 from the past a try, I swear it isn't just hype.

Gods and powerful humans fighting together. Large swords, power-ups, 2 different levels (in Bleach it's bankai, but it's just level 2 in Ueki). Both protagonists get powerful much quicker than normal through hard work and sheer will. If you like Bleach, I'm sure you'll like Ueki also :)

I think Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu brings a lot of stuff of Bleach. You have in both a story that 1st it's about something, a quest to find something/someone, but then the plot happens and we have a turn of events that explain a lot of stuff; there are 2 major groups of power, the Shinigamis/Gotei 13 and the Hollows/10 Espadas vs The Holy Knights and the Ten Commandments; we can see some characters who have similiar imposing pose, power and the same movements and ways to think (for example we can see similarities between Kurosaki Ichigo and Meliodas, Zaraki Kenpachi and Escanor, or even teh  read more

Themes of war, justice, peace, and chivalry surrounds both shows. Both have characters who fight in a massive fighting scale as a one man army action. Ichigo/Heero Yuy and Soul Society/Colony Liberation Organization fight to protect Earth whereas Aizen/Treize and Arrancars/OZ fight for the same thing with a different reason which opposes the main character's ideals. Conspiracy also involves in both shows through government and characters until a greater evil is revealed. An interesting note is that Aizen and Treize are similar.

Hellsing and Bleach are two action packed animes that any action/shounen lover would love. Both have badass Prot with power out of world, plenty of fights to keep u glued and lots of blood to make it feel real. Both have supernatural element that is- Vampires in Hellsing and Shinigami in Bleach, and ofc there are big bad villians who must stand in their way. the main character is kurosaki ichigo who is quite similar to alucard in the hellsing series..

Both shonen shows revolve around an idealistic teenager who stumbled upon a supernatural source of power (Ichigo for Bankai and Yuya for Odd Eyes) involving a girl important (Rukia and Yuzu) guided by a mysterious mentor known for his intellectual prowess and shady morals (Urahara and Reiji). A conflict involving multiple dimensions gets caught up in the process while at the same time not as genuine as it is as the story rolls on. These shows are orchestrated by an all time greats (Shiro Sagisu for Bleach and Kotaro Nakagawa for Yugioh Arc V).

The settings and motivations are near identical, with the protagonists' hometown being what they want to protect in an urban-fantasy setting. Both of these shows have similar, smart, planning type villains that don't encourage sympathy but rather understanding.

They both have that high school air, with self-conclusive episodes, only instead of Shinigamis, Shamans. You could say that for now Shaman King is like the first Bleach saga.

Nurarihyon's Hagoromo Gitsune arc is eerily similar to Bleach's Soul Society arc. It starts with the a character getting kidnapped, the main character is forced to train in preparation of the inevitable invasion they need to do to get said character back. The invasion fails in case of the entrance so they need to improvise another plan to enter. With them traveling to retrieve their friend they get stronger in the process. The main character has to fight an enemy that only wishes to fight the stongest. At the end a character pulls an "Aizen" and all hell breaks loose.

MCs are weaker from the start only to grow strong later on. Both series have their fair share of hate only to lessen later on. Yuma and Astral are similar to Ichigo and Zangetsu as the spirits of the unknown accompany them on a journey to seek their objectives at some point of time in between.

The two are extremely similar. its about a guy who meets a girl(s) and saves them from the evil supernatural being. the girl then stays in the real/surface world and is happy, with the boy devolping his powers and saving the girl again. then the girl is taken by some powerful evil guy who beats the main character and after recieving training from an old guy, goes with a group of friends down into the sprit/underground world, and fight they're way to save the girl. sound familiar?

Kurosaki Ichigo and Seiji Sawamura are very similar characters! Both of them is orange-haired and into fighting until they meet a girl and start to showing their soft sides and in that way get to know new friends (but in Bleach the girl are not on love with him). Both contains a lot of fighting and humor!

lots, and lots of awsome action with good animation, there are quite a few really funny jokes here and there, and the character designs r pretty origional, each character has a simple mordern teen look that suits there personalities, and the anime moves at a really fast paste most of the time

They have constant action, "forbidden" romance, transformations, an adventure, comedy and more. Both series have a journey to a certain goal, which is wildly chased throughout battle and action-packed settings. Both enemies as the protagonists are unique characters in everyone's own way.

As far as shounen action series go, Bleach has become something of a measuring stick and Sadamitsu the Destroyer measures up quite well. If you replace Hollows with aliens, you pretty much have the concept of Sadamitsu the Destroyer. Both are about somewhat delinquent high school students who are thrust into fighting monsters with powers they don't completely understand. In addition Sadamitsu the Destroyer has very likable characters to the which have you rooting for them almost instantly despite the anime's short episode count. (Remember how much you cheered on Ichigo and Rukia in the first 10 episodes of bleach!)

Battles, conspiracies, societal politics, war tactics, rebellions, a sword-wielding main character voiced by Morita, and several other common seiyuu (such as but not limited to Fukuyama Jun). There are a lot of dissimilarities between these two series that could take up a lengthy sheet of paper, but if the above is enough for you, it's worth giving the series you're less familiar with a try.

Main character meets a girl in uncommon circumstances, and thanks to this encounter the guy's life changes drastically, as he gets some kind of super power. Certain characters are similar; for instance, the above said girl has an older brother, and the two siblings are part of an important and noble clan/family. These series are both shounen with great music, animation and character design, and with well-done, but dragged-on fights.

tense waiting to see just what special skill every sword has ( Bleach) and which special skill every ninja has (basilisk).Of course bleach is more full of action but it seems to me that basilisk is more artistic.

It involves evil spirits and summons as well. The down side is, the plot may not be as fantastic as Ga Rei Zero

Advent Children has a lot of sword fighting in it. If you liked it because of that you should definitely try out Bleach. The Shinigami are sword-wielding spirits, the animation is good and the story is even better.

Both Bleach and Karas feature the main character fighting against supernatural characters and deals with spirit worlds interactions with the human world. They are both very action-packed filled with lots of sword fights. Karas has way fewer episodes than Bleach and is a bit more violent compared to Bleach. If you are a fan of Bleach and wants to watch another supernatural theme anime with sword fights, I recommend trying out Karas. If you like Karas and never seen Bleach before, give Bleach a try.

The action is same in the sense that there's guys in uniform wielding blades and cutting stuff or people down. The main story is somewhat similar in the sense that one of the main characters grow up into a world they thought they knew but experience a different one-the first bleach arc and samurai 7's story are similar with respect to that view-

Both series feature some epic sword fights, monsters from another realm that normal people cannot see and a main character who gets thrown into this situation without hardly any warning. Bleach is much longer than Campione and has a lot of filler episodes. But if you liked one of these series you will enjoy the other one too.

It's not very hard to see the similarities between Bleach and Kaiju No. 8. You can just say it's probably inspired by Bleach. Both Characters has entities inside of them. Ichigo has Vaso Lorde Hollow while Kafka has its Kaiju. Also, both characters Ichimaru Gin Captain of the 3rd Division is suspiciously similar to Soshiro Hoshina Vice Captain of (guess what?) 3rd Division as well. Also, Kaiju has a striking resemblance to Hollow with the strongest having a Humanoid form (Vasto Lorde). To add, the Kaiju Defense Force has the same structure as Soul Society. This maybe spoiler but if there's a certain character  read more

You might think why these two are similar given their length in episodes but i felt the same elements when watching both: - Almost every important character has a special ability - Some of Bleach arcs had the same dark elements to Hamatora as a whole - Humor is the same with goofy characters interacting - Main character grows and is smart at times - Likeable side characters If you watch a few arcs of Bleach, it just feels comparable

If you liked the comedy parts of bleach, Dog Days will be sure to make you laught your spirit out. Similarlily, the main charater gets transported to another world and there he has to do some "saving" work. Because in the other world, there is a war going on. Althoug the wars in that world are a bit strange...

We have in Bleach, Shinigamis who "purify" the evil Hollows that hunt down humans. Well we in this series, Exorcists who exorcise "Evil Spirits", who... hunt down humans, and of course, it's also dimension related(you have Hueco Mundo in Bleach where Hollows live right? Well, let's say it's the same for the Evil Spirits in this case) and later down the road you will realize even more how similar they are, can't tell anymore than this because otherwise I would spoil you. The series, while having a completely different plot/story than Bleach, has a pretty similar concept. The story altho different, is definitely good, if you liked  read more

If you enjoyed Bleach, you'll definitely like Black Cat. Both have action, comedy. It focuses on the male lead. They both have their own group, though it Black Cat in the end, he left his group and in Bleach there's some romance.

Both Ichigo and Natsume can see spirits and have to deal with them. Kon and Madara are similar as humorous animal sidekicks.

The series is similar because, the main character of both series changes and has a smaller creature fill in for them.

Well i have to say that both bleach and kenichi start off with a boy going from weak to strong, and it has a lot of fiction in it like bleach. It's a kick ass anime too. Both stories of bleach and kenichi start off kind of similar. So I would recommend this to anyone who likes bleach.

Both anime involved lots of fighting scenes and the leading character of both anime shows very strong willpower to get stronger and succeed in their own respective agenda. Both characters also get stronger through very short amount of training time and both have great storyline.

Main character is male, who fights in order to defeat evil!! Also happens to fight for the one's that they love and want to protect. Not only that, but they both have company and help by other friends that tag along the way and support them. Action and Fighting Scenes!~

Both Ichigo and Lelouch have the same English Voice Actor and they both got their powers from a girl in the first episode, both character's mother was killed before the series.

They both have awesome sword fights and are GAR In fact, Afro Samurai is even better since it has a normal plot line and a black dude as the main character. <3 Ichigo

Main character fight against supernatural beings in stylish and cinematic way. Both are very tactical (at least most of the time). JoJo use a little bit more of it in the second part which can become ridiculous at times, but i think it part of the fun. Messina and Loggins remind me a bit of Shiroganehiko and Koganehiko.

The main characters are similar (Renji and Ichigo), they use the same kind of weapon with different atacks, fight against monsters from other dimension and grow stronger along the serie. The place the fightings take place are similar too (Soul Society and Inner World)

Both main characters have stolen "supernatural" powers from a stranger in a unintentionally way.

SSSS.Gridman reminded me of Bleach when I was first watching the show. Gridman and Bleach both share a similar action/slice of life balance to each episode. Each episode there is good character building and also plenty of action/flighting scenes. The characters in Gridman also reminded me of those in Bleach, the side characters mostly, they aren't necessarily human and have a supernatural kind of twist. If you enjoyed Bleach and want to try something a little different I would recommend SSSS.Gridman.

-both characters enter a new world in which they realize they have hidden powers. -both of them end up having to save the "other" world, which ends up them having to save their own world too. -both of them start by saving a specific girl, then the world.

The thing they have in common is the presence of a group of really strong people, way stronger than others, that have the real power. In bleach those are the captains, in K the kings. I enjoyed both!
