I do hope you all had a nice refreshing break. And that sounds really useful for when it is ready. A shame that it wasn't able to be finished in time for this season. I do imagine that it is a lot of work to do the upkeep on manual updates.

That also makes sense. And yeah I noticed it was always week specific rather than episode specific. Just the seasonals that air at the end of week will have less time to settle for that week. I look forward to watching how this season unfolds. This also reminds me about the fact that you guys also track the source material member count as well if I'm not mistaken. So, going weekly for that also sounds better.

Thank you and all the others for doing the work for MSP. Why I don't really listen to MAL scores for anime, I just like seeing how the seasonals rating change over time. Outside of that, I do have a few questions concerning the club.

1. What made you guys want to take a break from Win24?
2. How much time pass before you calculate the score for an anime? i.e. 1 day after episode airs, 30m, etc.

Those are the only curiosities on my mind atm. I appreciate the time you spent reading this message. May Holo bless Spring24 with a bountiful harvest of anime.

In anime academia: Right now I'm reading through 2 academic texts on anime, one is more on the "shoujo" figure (teenager girl in modern Japan) and the animation to characterize this feminity in shows like Re:Cutey Honey and Kill La Kill and K-On; the other is more on an industrial history of Ghibli as a studio. After that I'll read Rayna Denison's Anime: A critical introduction & Thomas Lamarre's The Anime Ecology.

And in Latin: Ceasar, Galli Bellum (The Gallic Wars), which is fitting because it's kind of where I live (France, near the Seine, the Sequena in Caesari tempores)
