I'm a Palliative care fellow and I saw my first anime (galaxy express 999) when I was 6. The pic of me is in my old college dorm room, and the guy next to me is my old room mate. He has an account too under "Dragonkakashi"

To all those who posted comments that I never got back too I am sorry, I was very active on this site for several years then between residency, getting married and having my first child I kind of forgot it existed. So now I'm back and after about 4-5 years of neglect.

Wow ! It must be great to live in NY , every thing is available even if it's hard to get .. And you seem like a real anime otaku who knows how and where to get the good stuff .

Still I'm curious about your list , did you start watching anime when you were 6 and went on till now or did you stop for a while ?

I know It's really tough to decide , that is the real pain ..
You still have 2 years left , lots of options to explore , so don't get ahead of yourself , and just focus on your studying , and stop watching so much anime damn what a huuuuuge list XD

As for clinical pathology , as much as it seems boring , never underestimate its value , nearly every medical specialty depends on it in a certain degree .
Plus it provides a more stable social life than the rest , I think I'll go for it , I'm a girl after all , to me a social life comes before a career ...I have till April to make up my mind , wish me luck .

Have you considered Chest or Cardiology , they are both rather small branches and don't require an internal medicine residency , you can get to them directly (at least in my country) ?

Hey , what do you think about Clinical Pathology ?

Oh , your curriculum is very different than ours , all these subjects are studied in the third year here .
Nah , it's not that difficult to get into any specialty , there are many ways to get what you want where I live , I'm seriously thinking of changing to Clinical Pathology though .

I'm always wondering why nearly all male med students are more interested in Surgery than Internal Medicine ..
Why do you think Surgery is a real pain anyway ?
