Information
少女アニメと漫画大好き-Shoujo Anime to Manga Daisuki Shoujo manga and anime is generally intended for female audiences from ages 10-18, but females of all ages (and some males) can read, watch and enjoy it. Shoujo titles usually contains female protagonists, and romantic themes, but it can also have various themes like sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural and along others as well. Unfortunately, a lot of titles, like the Seinen Ah! My Goddess and Chobits and the Shounen Love Hina, are mistakenly labeled as Shoujo manga/anime because of the similarities of the storylines associated with the demographic. However, while Shoujo has idealistic romantic stories, Seinen and Josei focuses on a more realistic approach in romance/life. This is for all the fans of Shoujo anime and manga, from classics like Ribon no Kishi, Rose of Versailles, Candy Candy and Sailor Moon to modern-day favorites like Fruits Basket, Full Moon, Ouran High School Host Club, Lovely Complex, Vampire Knight and Skip Beat and much, much more. We got over 150 300 (!) titles in the manga relations list alone. @Klefki_of_Awsome It was no doubt reminding you of Full Moon because it surely reminded me of it :)

Yes I mean Special A. There's something going on with people's genes or lifestyles or something because these things for sure were definitely not common in my parents day....my mom said she never encountered someone with that problem, and she lived in New York growing up.....and worked with alot of people. Crooked teeth and misalignment yes did happen, but not so much the other. That does sound painfully annoying....my issue for some reason is that my teeth (even the adult ones) are smaller then the usual so it made brushing me teeth with those brackets nearly impossible to do with a just a toothbrush. I never had much problems with my teeth, but I swear having gotten braces...made my teeth more sensitive then before.

@RICEA42991 Hm. nmh v.v

Yess, exactly! I liked how the piloting aspect and skating aspect somehow meshed together as well, especially during Tazusa's big performances. Idk but it reminds me a bit of another show I watched, which is from about the same time as this one, and that I also really liked.. Maybe Full Moon?>:I>
Yes, indeed we are, haha!xD>

By S.A., you DO mean Special A, right? Ahh, yeah, the issue rn is that the two removed teeth left gaps, and these gaps are almost completely closed but not quite, so when food gets stuck there, it hurts like nothing else in the world tbh..x'd It is! I also had no idea this was a thing, until I had to have it happen to me... :o>

@Klefki_of_Awsome American politics have been a mess ever since the early 2000s pretty much. And just get worse over time.

It was one of the few sad stories that I intentionally picked up and watched even if I knew it was sad (I usually bypass those) and you're right the connection they went through was very profound and emotional. I'm surprised the writer never wrote more stories. Its rare nowadays to find something that touching...especially in newer stuff. Ha we both are very cultured it seems :D

S.A. I believe was one of the popular shoujos around that same time so Im not surprised hehe As for the braces. I feel your pain, I also had to get braces put in for a year and removed 2 teeth from the upper side as well.......I guess its more common then I thought it was.

Klefki_of_Awsome | Nov 8, 11:13 AM
@RICEA42991 Well with the new election situation, here's definitely better rn, lol..^^'3

Ohh, I see you're a shoujo fan of culture as well, haha~! I never expected to find another fan of it tbh, since like you said its a small lesser known series, but I ended up crying at the end, and that's probably why it stuck with me. The whole emotional journey of Tazusa and Pete resounded with me, back in a time when I was going through a lot of things irl as well~!X'39
Funny that you mention S.A. because i'm pretty sure I watched both at the same time, lol!:D

I see, I have a pile of manga to finish, and originally planned to get through them in the following days, but I must delay it again since I'm not feeling too well (stress from learning to drive, plus pain from my braces which are closing and tightening where I used to have holes from the two upper teeth they removed) so I'll probably do it next month instead..=.='3

@Klefki_of_Awsome I've heard different stories about Canada...many say its better then America....but also claim it's got it's own mess as well.

Oh yes! I enjoyed Ginban Kalediscope....I watched it years ago and liked it alot, it was funny and the main girl reminded me of the main girl from S.A. It actually is a shoujo, but the anime isn't labelled as such. I'm surprised you know of it, since it's usually a forgotten ignored series :( I may have to 'spotlight it' at some point in the future when there's a month that is bare of announcements.

I have been keeping up with manga though....its just the anime that I'm having a hard time getting around to.

Klefki_of_Awsome | Nov 6, 2:59 PM
@RICEA42991 The economy isn't so great in Canada these days tbh, inflation as been on the rise for at least 5 years now, and a lot of basic need things like housing, food, and others are unaffordable for the average low income Canadian..:(
I see, I also feel like that sometimes, like I'll add things to my list, knowing full well I might not get to it anytimes soon..^^'3

Ohh, that sounds up my alley, lol! I love ice skating series, and have read/watched quite a few so far! I'll be watching Medalist next season, as the trailers looked beautiful, and its one of the better ice skating series out today afaik!>:P> There's in fact an ice skating shoujo anime from the early 2000s, idk if you know about it, it's called Ginban Kaleidoscope. It doesn't list as shoujo here, but the style of the writing and art is fairly shoujo-like. Though I'm not sure its a good idea to give you more recs, if you're as busy as your last reply seems to make you be, sorry..=v='3

Yeah, in my case, it was apparently one of the image alignment code that was wrong, but a buddy of mine fixed it for me!^v^'9

RICEA42991 | Oct 23, 7:41 AM
@Klefki_of_Awsome Yeah some work schedules can make it virtually impossible to do alot of things one wants to do, not sure how the economy is in Canada but the USA.....yeah....alot of people stuck on their jobs without much choice. I used to be very diligent in keeping up a routine schedule of getting things done, but lately I haven't the past few years.......I could blame it on the people I live with are the biggest procrastinators ever as being part of the problem, but I rather blame it on just having to get a schedule in order to accommodate my ever growing list of things I'm interested in doing.

I never read Sugar Princess other then a chapter or two because at the time it was hard to find I think. But from what I recall it's mostly about ice skating.

It could be the text, but it could also be the image sizing, or just the way profiles are set up to line....maybe they're different then forums.

Klefki_of_Awsome | Oct 22, 6:14 PM
@RICEA42991 Ohh OK, that makes sense! Maybe put it in the first episode, pretty early on, as a reminder? Tbh, one of the reason why I want to start working part time as opposed to full time, is that it would give me more time to at least catch up and finish what I started..^^'>3 I've been pretty focused on video games in the last few years, or I go somewhere on a trip and just don't feel like catching up when I get back since its a pain to do so.. I'm pretty terrible at getting things done sometimes, ngl..=.='3

Oh, that's cute, haha! I've always had mine mid-long or cut short, since I don't like having hair in my headphones when I'm watching anime on my laptop..=v=3
I see, I'll check it out then.. What's it about?:>

Thank you very much! I tend to get ideas months in advance, but getting the time to make a profile doesn't come as often anymore as it used to, so I have to plan many weeks or even months in advance before I can do it! I actually do that with my reading lists too sometimes, like rn, I have my manga reading lists planned until January next year! I also checked what I had left to read in my shelves recently, and good news, I only have about a year's worth of reading, and after that, I'll be able to collect in bulk again!x'D9
Ahh, I see.. That makes sense!>:D> I asked before I also had a similar issue with my profile, at least in one section, where I'd want the images to show on each side of the screen on my profile, but the image on the right won't align with the others..:o> Though in my case, I think the problem is my text is too long and so it won't fit on one line on the screen..^^'>3
