Oh my god! I really love this manga actually. It has a really wonderful storyline that makes it stand out from a couple others that I read. There doesn’t seem to be a full underlining story but small stories starting with Ema’s background story. Some of the characters are sort of forgettable sadly, but the 4 she normally is around are at least remember-able by face even if it isn’t by name. Each one has an interesting personality and look that makes them this stories own characteristic.
Because things keep going at a by story passé, it’s hard to see the romance that the manga says
...
is inside it. The time we start seeing the romance bloom actually is in the 3rd chapter instead of showing up right off the back. Now, it’s done rather well but had me guessing where the love story was coming from and if the first chapter was the only love that they would have. Even though they don’t really give us a defined love between Ema and Saeki Renichi, they always put some hint in that she is important to him.
One thing I do wish is that they would talk more of the characters pasts. We hear a lot about the costumers but we don’t here much on Misa, Yuu, and Enomoto. I can’t even figure out if Enomoto really is a man sometimes.
Now when it comes to the stories, I remember a couple that really were my favorites. The stuffed animal one and the kitten one were the most wonderful stories to me because they had such a cute storyline. The very last one was cute as well, though sadly, it didn’t stop me from wanting more.
The artwork is rather beautiful at times and other times look just plan with slight lines. It’s not that it’s done rather chaotic but depends on the mood. When the mood has something to do with life and love, the artwork actually becomes rather beautiful with flowers and butterflies, and when it starts being creepy like about death, then the artwork slightly changes to fit that as well.
