I've no idea what movie 29 is going to focus on, may be detective boys 🙄
I can remember the characters were dressed like. Cats eye characters in the girls day mystery, but I can't remember what TV show Conan was watching..

I wonder if you like the detective boys. I like them, they are quite nostalgic cause when I started to watch anime I was there age so I can be a kid like them when the plot is with detective boys.
Genta specially cracks me up with laughter.
I'm not guessing the answer but I'm hoping may be movie 29 will focus on detective boys..
Hakase quiz might be about nagano mountains or Japanese historical figures in movie 28..

I have to rewatch them episodes if I were to guess correctly lol.
It's not like they were recent episodes.
I remember the culprits in the actual case the girls solve though lol.

I think Movie 28 could be about moroboshi Keiji and his brother who was undercover in the black organization and was amuro's best friend.
Taking a wild swing, i am curious for years to see if komei finds the details of how his brother was undercover and then the cover was blown and amuro mistakenly blamed and hates akai.
Komei was another main character in fairy's lips and Kaito kid, when Kaito easily fooled Hattori with kazuha disguise and Hattori was very angry about it in this movie 27... Komei was there to pick up some of his brothers stuff that amuro secretly left with the MPD and jirokichi asked for his help.
So I'm continuing from that fairy lips pink pearl episode to movie 28 as well. going with that.

Oh you know it's so much fun to see our parents try new things. It's never too late to start something.
Now your mother have found a new genre and it's great that you have bl manga in your collection.
The last few years, I could tell what the next conan Movie was going to be about, this time I don't know, I know the nagano officers will be the focus but I can't figure out the plot. Because it's not a Kaito kid heist or black organization blowing up something.

My Christmas was really awful. you can understand my feelings of being a burden to my parents, the shame and regret.. Also I had a really bad nightmare and my insomnia is back and my nerves are even more shaky.
I watched the Celtics game and they played as bad as i am feeling right now.
I'm watching some cricket while heating milk. I don't have any appetite lol.
Anyway new anime season is around the corner so I can look forward to something for once.
Any those opening day tickets for the Conan movie you got? looking forward to or interested in for Winter 2025?

OH BTW, the mystery drama Conan watches are in filler episodes called girls day mystery.
Conan watches the movies with agasa hakase, often making wild Deductions to guess the drama culprit as ran keeps calling Shinichi phone to help out with the case at hand.
The cases are solved by the haibarra and Sato keji without any help from Conan. Also sera isn't part of the filler episodes.. So haibarra is the brain behind getting the truth. But they are tv original filler and not part of the main manga.

Slayers could be a very comedic fighting game, Milgazia the golden dragon could use bad jokes as an attack.

The graphic novels appear to be the manga version of the anime specials and some original stuff. The books are Slayers Special Notorious, Touch of Evil, Lesser of Two Evils, Spellbound, Dark Crystal, also Premium and Return. Was only able to get two of the six part Dark Crystal Specials, the rest seem to be out of stock everywhere.

Ill check out Ghost Sweeper Mikami luckily I found a place to watch it.

I don't know if you'll like this but if you have free time check out Captain Yajima on Youtube. Feels like an anime but its not, made me laugh a little bit might make you laugh too. Only if you want to.

May be ill watch BBC networks Christmas mysteries adaptations of the novels from the Golden age of detective novels and mystery writers. I bet Conan would love it.

A Slayers fighting game sounds cooler the more I think about it, could play as the flying fish man or Jeffery's teleporting mother with a hammer. Could even include Lost Universe characters, Its fun to think about.

So turns out the Slayer Specials I have are the graphic novels instead, oh well nothing wrong with more Slayers. I don't think any of the 30 specials have ever been translated, might have to get all 30 imported and slowly translate them. Its unfortunate loving a series with limited access to the entire thing. It may be worth the effort, I really enjoy the Naga & Lina stuff.

Wow a used bookstore that has video games I've never seen anything like that in the US, I wonder if that Slayers Wonderful is region locked. If we ever started getting Slayers video games again, what style of game do you think is most fitting? I could see an Action RPG, but realistically it would probably be turn based or the classic first person RPG.

Is the Higaeri Quest novel series easier to obtain than the Manga? Actually they seem fairly difficult to obtain, even the Lost Universe novels. I'll just keep looking online, its how I found the reprint of Slayers despite being years late.

Recently obtained a few of the Slayers Specials, unsure if getting the 30 listed on Wikipedia is possible.

Apart from what's been revealed from the trailer, I'll try to avoid spoilers myself before I get to see it like with SEED Freedom

Of these, I'm reading Mato Seihei no Slave and I intend to read Shuumatsu no Harem, Fire Punch and 2.5-jigen no Ririsa. As for Summertime Render, I watched the anime.

Naga just cast's a "sea cucumber spin" summoning spell, it cracks me up.

I like when adaptations differ from the source material so your not experiencing the same thing twice. As long as it follows the main plot, but expanding in places the source material doesn't. But sometimes this approach isn't the best, like Slayers REvolution-R wasn't as good as the novels in my opinion.

Apologies but when I said "Some of those Slayer books look like magazine covers" wasn't saying they were magazines. There seems to be some error in communication, I can be a bit like Gourry sometimes when it comes to brains. But I think you wrote "special" as "Supesharu" which confused me, on closer inspection that would be the romanji text for special. And when you mentioned Slayer Delicious as "Delirious" that was also confusing, ill study the text better next time.

Is the bonus advance ticket book the 98 page companion guide to the movie?

I may have gotten carried away when I saw Lina, Naga, & Gourry on a cover together, just thought it was a Naga/Gourry first time meet up. Its just a six story compilation anthology and Hajime Kanzaka seems to have only written one of the six. And I have seen some of the Naga/Gourry encounters in the video games online, but sadly there are no practical legal means of playing or obtaining them in the US. I have accepted the fact that many Slayer things will be forever out of my reach.

I do apologize for asking such a rudimentary question, I accidentally looked up the manga and thought it was the novel page oops. I do make those mistakes so please point them out. You have gotten my interest in Higaeri Quest I can only import and attempt to translate them. Hopefully that wont be too difficult, the chances of success isn't zero.
