In both series, there's the idea of working. The environment is depicted with comedy especially with the characters involved.

The main male protagonist also seems insecure at many times regarding the setting he is in. However, he is determined to do the work he is assigned to.

There is literally humor and many jokes made throughout both series mainly related to the main male protagonist and the people he interacts with.

Both comedies are really alike and are both hilarious

Jun Satou and Hiroomi Souma are like Ashiya Shirou and Maou Sadou
Both main characters have someone they hate and fight with, but also have a bit of romance between them too

"Just another day working with my friends for the company." The main characters in here are basically working to help their financial needs or just for their own spare time. There are wacky situations, somewhat slapstick, and the character interactions were enjoyable to watch. There is somewhat a romance development between the main characters.

The difference is that Maou-sama is a fantasy-action genre, where a demon main character transports to the human world and finds a job for his next goal. Working is somewhat a normal type of work, with slapstick moments.

Both are hilarious series, have an even amount of male and female characters, and have cute romantic elements. While Working is about restaurant life and Nozaki-kun is school life, they have the same comedic feel and are both very enjoyable.

Working!! has romantic elements, but overall is a comedic slice-of-life journey similar to Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun.  The main difference between the two is location.  Working!! takes place where the characters work, a family restaurant, while Gekkan is split between working on the manga and school.

Both series are hilarious and have their own qualities for plot, but both are a great series for a comedic slice of life to just sit down and laugh about. They both have their own elements of romance thrown in there.

I'm not very good at detailing these, but Working!! and GSNK are anime mostly focused on comedy (and their manga are 4koma, one of my favorite types) with hints of romance and pairings. (in the later seasons of Working!!, it's more obvious) I really love this type of anime, where multiple couples are given attention instead of the main pair only, like most side characters getting together or finding someone, and it's that way for both anime. 

Plus, both are ridiculously hilarious, and if you're like me, you'll probably be going "One more episode can't hurt-!" five times in a row. XD

They have similar humor with different settings. I think these two were the animes I laughed the most. Working has other seasons so I found it slighly slower but when you watch all seasons the amount of laughes you get might be even more.
At least I think so.
But even my mother liked both.

The two of them are comedies with a bit of romance about students working either in a restaurant (Working!!) or as manga assistants (Gekkan shoujo). The best part of both of them is their characters and the relationships between them.
If you liked Working!!'s sense of humour, you'll probably like Gekkan shoujo and vice versa.

They are both slice-of-lice anime.  Characters in both anime are such a "character," and you can predict how they will interact in certain situations.  Both anime have relaxing atmosphere.

Same art style, animation. Random personalities and lighthearted comedy. when i watched very first episode its remind me Minami-ke. both are very good series.

Both anime series have an element of comedy and randomness in the episodes, following the daily lives of the characters and their relationships with each other. Both have a similar pacing: comfortable, without any fast pacing. Minami-ke basically focuses on the three sisters while Working!! on the part time workers at Waqnaria. In both all the characters have varied personalities with defining features. The visuals are also similar with both having bright colours. 

If you like one then it is highly probably you'll like the other as well.

Both series were placed in a comedy within a workplace, Denki-Gai no Honya-san is a workplace comedy set in a bookstore in a certain "electric town", whereas Working!! is a workplace comedy set in a family restaurant in Hokkaido. Both follow the funny daily lives of a quirky crew at work; "slice-of-work" if you will.

Workplace comedies featuring a cast of multiple male and female mains each with their own distinctive quirks. The cast consist of both high-schoolers and adults. The comedy is centred around the quirks of each character and their interactions between co-workers. The most similar characters are Sommelier and Souta Jun as they can be considered 'gentle giants', appearing tall and menacing but are actually kind. There is romance in both with characters having obvious pairings with one another. Overall, funny and enjoyable workplace comedies featuring a cast of quirky and lovable characters.

These shows are all about relationships between coworkers. While there is difference between the workplaces main structure is similar. Both of them focus on relationships and romantic elements with some drama added into the mix.

the two series are concerned about a store and the lives of their employees, the protagonists wear glasses and both have very particular tastes and the other employees are to similars.

Even though 'Working!!' has barely started, it reminds me greatly of 'Toradora!'. Both feature tiny female leads, forward (sometimes violent) female characters, and slice-of-life comedy.

I just think both of these animes are CUTE, FUNNY, and ADORABLE!
If you liked Working!!, Toradora! in my opinion would also be excellent for you to watch!

the quirkiness of the characters in both series struck me. Toradora centers around school life and follows a set story line, has some gripping drama near the end and has a clear conclusion. Working!! on the other hand doesn't have a plot, or a conclusion and revolves around the workers at a family restaurant. It is much more random and focuses on comedy (althought i thought Toradora was just as humors). Toradora's Ryuuji inherited his serial killer father's scary looks, Working's Satou also has a scary look but both are nice guys under their scary exterior. Ryuuji's mother's and  Working's Kozue (Takanashi's older sister) were really similar characters. Ryuuiji and Takanshi are both the responsible members of their households and naturally take on the responsibility of cleaning and cooking.  Ryuuji's getting beat up by Tiga was sort of similar to Takanshi betting beaten up by Inami. Both these male characters do not appreciate getting beaten up but still take it well and end up supporting the female character instead of running away. Both Toradora's Tiga and Working Popura are short doll looking characters. Tiga's personality, however is alot closer to  Kyouko demanding of food, cold face, and gangster violence attitude. Last, think Toradora's Ami's personality fits well as an older more mature sister to Working's Yamada in looks and manipulation of other characters. Finally, in both anime's the character's Ruuiji and Inami have to escape the negative impact their currently absent fathers had on their lives. Both anime's talk about on the importances of past events on present situations. read more

For starters, exclamation points. 

Both series are romance/comedy series, with Toradora! falling more towards the romantic side while Working!! focuses more on the slice-of-life comedy. The main characters are extremely similar, having to do housework for an otherwise dysfunctional family made most obvious by their drunk vixen of a mother/older sister. Both involve a diverse cast of both male and female members, with some of those characters corresponding to those in the other series somewhat well (Taiga/Minori are shuffled versions of Poplar/Mahiru, Kitamura has elements of both Souma and Satou, Yamada is like a mini-Ami, etc.). 

Ultimately though, both are simply good examples of the rom-com genre done right. read more

Both feature (very) slow building relationships that don't properly ship until the very end of the run of the show.  Working!! is definitely the sillier of the two, but in a good way.  Toradora! has the deeper feels.

The comedy in both shows is all over the place yet still has a realistic feeling to it. The Anime both have a wide range of characters who don't fit inside the box and they have similar Anime styles.

These anime series are similar to each other because they are both slice of life who don't resort to the school setting. These two shows have a big selection of characters and have really good comedy, characters interactions and even some romance.
Really like this two shows and since that in my opinion they are similar i am making this Recommendation.

Both contains main characters who are afraid of opposite gender (Gynophobia from Mayo Chiki! and Androphobia from Working!!) and working with opposite sex in order to 'cure' it. Both also contains romance and comedy aspects. Both have male lead who were beaten quite a lot. And of course both wears glasses. But, there are more ecchi theme on Mayo Chiki! though.

Similarities: 

Both settings are in a Restaurant.

Both have characters (Aizawa Chizuru of Shinryaku! Ika Musume, Sato Jun and Kyouko Shirafuji of working) which the main character (Ika and Souta) won't dare mess with.

Both were safe enough to be viewed by elementary school kids.

Both do have either a shallow or unstable plot.

Both characters (Souta and Ika) never intended to work in the restaurant in the first place.

And both have little bit lesbian that goes  in it.

Dissimilarities: 

One was set in the suburbs of Hokkaido while the other one was set on a beach somewhere in the southern part of Japan (In Okinawa... I think).

 One has 2 characters that no one in the restaurant would wanna mess with ( Jun and Shirafuji) while the other only has one characters which one should beware about (Chizuru).

in one has a main character who is so naive about living on land which always get's her in trouble, while the other the main character always gets his face whoop by an androphobic co-worker.  

And in one, the character has super abilities, while the other has super tolerance for his sisters and teasing from his co-workers.

Shirokuma Cafe addpermalink

Using the restaurant theme but actually can take place in any settings, Shirokuma Cafe and Working are pretty much situation comedy that happen to take place in restaurant and coincidentally share the common activity of arubaito (part-time work.)

Shirokuma cafe take a safe route of all-age and genders appeal. I double dare anyone to come up with demographic group that can't watch this.

Working is a male-oriented show that have lots of girls (as usual) and happen to appeal to female too due to it's neutral standing between male and female emphasis. It is made from female-mangaka manga that serialized in late-teen to adult mangazine, but pretty much anyone can read it with no parental advisory.

Both of these Anime deal with following a particular job and the ups and downs. Except, the characters involved are not your average person, they all have various personalities with quirks in them.

Ouran Koukou Host Club addpermalink

Both these anime focus on the relationships of a group of people (this is probably true for most anime though): in Ouran it is the 'Host Club' members while in Working it is the part time workers at the family restaurant 'Wagnaria'. Comedy, a variety of characters with distint personalities and quirks, a slow and comfortable pace and episodes following the daily life of the characters (in the Host Club and in the family restaurant) without a strong plot (this is more true for Working!!) are similar elements in both. Ouran has more character development and shows the pasts of the characters while Working!! has a lighter focus on this. Working may seem to have a lot of repitition - Takanashi always gets hit by Inami, chief is always serving the manager - but this is not really a negative aspect because it just shows the daily life at the restaurant which is mostly unchanging. However, we do learn more about the characters, they do develop a little, but that is not really the main focus of the anime.

In general both are fun to watch. You may not necssarily enjoy the other if you liked one, but there is a probability of doing so. Try a few episodes in any case. read more

Soft? Well, Acchi Koochi is definitely a soft slice-of-life Anime in both mood and pacing, while Working is soft in feel, but packs in quite a bit with the characters as nothing about the day to day life is simple. A stark contrast characterization wise, and yet there is something fans of one may enjoy of the other.

Both very funy and fun to watch. The characters are very well made and it will bring you multiple smiles while watching. If you are a comedy lover, Lucky Star and Working! is the anime for you.

Joukamachi no Dandelion addpermalink

Both are lighthearted SoL shows with comedy and a little bit of character development thrown in. Joukamachi has a few slightly darker points, but both generally try to keep an upbeat and happy atmosphere.

There are romantic subplots in both of these shows, but the romance is much more prevalent in Working. Joukamachi tends to delve into themes such as family and friends, putting romance to the side save for a couple characters. 

Working has no supernatural elements, while Joukamachi has a very central supernatural core with the royal family's powers. 

Generally, if you liked one of these shows, you'll find something very similar between them.

Fast-paced comedy both adapted from 4-koma manga. They managed to fit a lot of gags from original into the anime and also have the enjoyable pace kept. Good work everyone, just please come up with some original joke once in a while, anime team. Those who have read original manga really have a hard time on your show.

I think they got similar atmosphere ... Like seitokai no ichizon is in this council room and Working!! is in family restaurant. There are also similar characters like Tanashima is similar to Kurimu or Sugisaki is similar to Takanashi ... in their own way. Also has other characters which are alike.

Both animes are about some bussiness with many hilarious scenes, funny characters and a kind of romance. Some characters have similarities, like a guy who are always in trouble (Takanashi and Keitaro), a girl who are always punching the protagonist (Inami and Narusegawa), a girl with a sword (Yachiro and Motoko), a girl causing problems to everyone (Yamada and Sarah) and a lazy employee (Kyouko and Haruka).

Two comedy animes that can be referred to slice of life genres, both animes happen mostly in the cafes their working... Both animes seem to get their punch lines mostly on the worker's "unusual" sides too... If you like that format of comedy of Working, then you might also have fun watching Soredemo...
