Hello everyone, and welcome to my little corner of MAL. I guess this is the section where I talk about my Otaku journey. Hmmm let me see...where do I begin. Well I am an old school anime fan. I first started watching it in the mid '80s, with Superbook and Flying House being my entryway into the genre. Although during those days I didn't even know I was watching anime, let alone what it was. My next exposure to it happened way back on Nick Jr when Nickelodeon aired an anime series called Grimm's Fairy Tale Adventure. Come to think of it I don't even know if Nick Jr was even an established program block yet. Then once the early 90's hit I had fond memories of getting up in the morning on my days off from school to catch anime on the Sci-fi channel, back then they called it Saturday Anime (Umm...I guess the name was appropriate). Of course once anime became popular enough to find at rental stores such as Blockbuster Video, I was all over those VHS tapes. Project A-KO and Battle Arena Toshinden being some of my standout favorite rentals at the time. After that I guess you could say the rest is history.
Along with being a big fan of anime I am also a lifelong gamer. Been playing since the late 80's. My favorite systems being the Game Boy, Playstation 2 and Dreamcast. My other hobbies include fishing, drawing and cooking. With the ladder being my current profession. I guess that's all the major geeky stuff about me. Send a comment my way if you want to chat. Have an awesome day! :)

I see.
I'd say bring in fanservice but not to the point it kills character development or ignores it.
Glad you accepted me
I give a look into the idea of fanservices even being on the fence about from time to time, stating why and why it's not needed. Essentially, fanservice can make or break an anime. Fire Force for example was a great anime till people started dropping it, due to the fanservice getting ridiculous.
Basically, most of everything in my dropped list. There's actually more that I haven't added either in completed or dropped. Probably more in dropped, which makes me uneasy to add them. For some reason I want my completed list to be larger than it.
It's also not just scans, but the translation itself, bad romaji transliterations, etc; Some groups give it their all, but others don't try too hard, which is understandable.
One Piece has had unresolved mysteries for ten years? Sounds unsatisfying.
