Recommendations

This recommendation doesn't make sense but this is basically Nisekoi no. 2. Same type of cliche, similar style of gag, similar pattern of harem, et cetera.
reportRecommended by dhz_01
The basic premise of both of these romantic comedies involve promises made between childhood friends and the misunderstandings that follow.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
Both are romantic comedies with similar type of the main female characters, similar feelings when reading.
reportRecommended by Akagi-kun
TL;DR basically nisekoi syndrome pick one and hold on to it till the end well this reccomendation will as simple as walking in a park , common thing u can find in this series : LOTS OF GURL , u can name all type of dere they have it Harem but not Harem ( perhaps its still not end yet ) Real life so no harem (sad tho ) thing u will hate : nisekoi all over again
reportRecommended by yutshu_chan_lord
Nisekoi takes every single genre troupe, plot point and plot twist from Ichigo 100%, that you'll be able to predict the outcome of one, by reading the other.
reportRecommended by Master10K
Both series involve characters pretending to be a couple, but for two totally different reasons. In Nisekoi, the couple is formed as an attempt to unite two gang families, whereas in Koisome Momiji it is to practice for an acting role.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
Light-hearted romantic comedies that often use misunderstandings between characters to drive narrative and character development.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
The stting was quite similar, both MC and Heroine were leader of their own faction and their faction hate each other. The big difference is, while Raku and Chitoge faking relationship so their faction could live peacefully, Inudzuka and Perucia are having real relationship while keeping it secret from their faction.
reportRecommended by marmondesu
SOL rom com manga where the main boy and girl are forced to fake romance between each other while the main character has feelings for someone else. The relationship between the two leads grows as a result.
reportRecommended by JayGaredien
Romantic school comedies with a gangster theme.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
Innocent boy, who actually loves someone, but didnt confessed yet. After he didnt confess, more girls are gathering and somehow it ends into a harem. Both mangas have different kind of girls with different characters, tsundere etc. A funny love comedy , where you can feel, that his love is changing towards another girl instead of the "original" love. Both of them are kinda "fake" loves, since the maincharacter is "going out" with several girls ( well in maga tsuki he is kinda forced to stay with the girl with the soul ).
reportRecommended by Muhey
Another story where numerous female characters arrive out of the blue and form a relationship with the protagonist who already has a girl in mind. If you like one, you'll like the other. P.S Nisekoi has a somewhat clearer and more developed plot.
reportRecommended by Shirayuki76
- both are harem manga - in both manga MC's are delinquents but nice guys - both are highschool mangas
reportRecommended by PsychoEkin
- Couple that is together for reasons not related to romance - Gradual blooming of romance in both, there's no 'Dai suki' right off the bat - Both intersperse a lot of comedy amidst the romance, the bulk of the material is actually comedic with romantic plot advancement sprinkled in between. - Nisekoi definitely has more harem elements to it than Toradora! does if that floats your boat. - It is fairly obvious early on in both series who MC is going to end up with, but it is harder to tell in Nisekoi than in Toradora! if you like that sort of thing.
reportRecommended by Shaasar
Both are about a guy forced to take on a relationship with a girl he barely knows while having a crush on someone else. Writing style of Koi to Uso also gives me Nisekoi vibes. Basically, I am enjoying Koi to Uso in the same way I enjoyed Nisekoi. Yeah, I know this isn't a long recommendation so I'm going to pad this out so you feel as though you really spent your time well by choosing to read this. Do you like kofun? Because boy do I know someone that does. What is kofun you might ask? I really don't know. Seriously, what  read more

The stories are really similar, and even the character's names are even similar. Ichijou Hajime - Ichijou Raku, Ninomiya Chitose - Kirisaki Chitoge. High school setting, tsundere female transfer student, starting off on the wrong foot, etc. If you like one you'll probably like the other.
reportRecommended by TheJoshyMeister
- similar love situation between the MC and the heroines - in both series the main heroine knows the MC from childhood and the MC has trouble remembering key events - in both you will be able to see how the relationships between the mc and the heroines develop slowly

nisekoi have onodera and watari-kun have ishihara... if watari-kun will be adapted to anime... i think CV onodera will be CV ishihara !! maybe.. i hope!!
reportRecommended by Kategawa_chou
In both series, they both have the master-slave relationship. Tsugumi and Chitoge = Lia and Itanami They are also both harems, but InBura tends to be more heavily ecchi.
reportRecommended by -Hyper-
The main characters have the same "gang family", which in the case of Sumomomo are families of martials arts. They both force the main male protagonist to do something for the family. They also have some similarities with characters (Shintarou and Tsugumi facing the same "misunderstanding"), and most of all they are very hilarious mangas. If you liked Nisekoi and wanted even more comedy along with some battle, give it a go !
reportRecommended by Takuneru
Kanojo and Nisekoi give off similar vibes. I initially watched the anime for nisekoi but i really enjoyed it so i finished the manga to see the ending through. Both main romances are "forced" to be lovers due to circumstances. Nisekoi being family business and Kanojo due to the mistakes of a teen going through a break up. The main difference between the MC is that while Kazuya ends up faking the relationship due to selfish reasons with his close family and friends, Raku is forced by his father to fake a relationship.
reportRecommended by YaBoiKhris
Childhood and the past plays a prominent role as it connects to the overall story for both Last Game and Nisekoi. As a rom-com, both series adapts romance in a more innocent way with doses of comedy. The main male character has a peculiar relationship with the main female character. And although their premises are different, the character interactions are similar. There is also love triangles, background stories, and in general a standard shoujo way of approaching their plot. Recommended for readers of rom-com shoujo.

There are secrets being kept from the rest of the characters in both of these manga shares genres - Romance - Comedy

Both manga are about a group of students doing what they do best by being teens. Both mangas have a motley cast of characters. Both main character are considered a "really good person Both may involve a lot of romance

Known for their rom-com elements, Nisekoi and Hare-Kon are two series that shares some similar themes. Their storytelling also involves the relationship of the two main leads as well as others that enters that story. Nisekoi is more focused with events from the past that connects with the present storyline along with slice of life elements. Hare-kon adapts more of a mature story that strictly focuses on the MC's relationship with others, in particular the main female protagonist.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Although they have different premises, both series follows a main male character where their complicated circumstances lands them in a relationship with another girl (although of different nature). Both series' main female protagonist possesses a stubborn personality when it comes to love but deep down has has genuine feelings for the MC. Throughout both series, we also find out a bit more about some of the other characters that they come in contact with. There are also secrets that unfolds as both series' stories focuses on relationships to tests the potentials for our main characters.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Ever imagine what it would be like if Nisekoi wasn't a harem filled with misunderstandings? Do you like romantic progression in a story? Have you wondered what would happen if Raku wasn't so clueless and became a nonchalant male lead? Well if you've thought about any of these while reading Nisekoi, Horimiya is right for you. Both series are episodic and the comedy is very similar. However, the romance is portrayed very differently.
reportRecommended by ninja88880
Harem romance stories that occur in the school setting. The protagonist face the ever difficult challenge of choosing his favorite girl out of his large cast of harem. In both series, the male lead has interacted with the heroines in his childhood, and forgot about their meetings afterward. Feature some ecchi scenes for fan-service and some comedy for laughs.
reportRecommended by bunny1ov3r
The premise of the story is quite similar where at first we are told Both MC is matched with a girl they don't know, the difference lies in main heroine, Chitoge is a flashy type of girl where she doesn't hesitate to show that she is popular while Souda is a girl who hides her true identity and becomes an ordinary girl at school so as not to attract attention to the fact that she is actually a beautiful girl.
reportRecommended by Yukino_chan99
Tomo-chan is like Chitoge who is viewed by Kubo Jun and/or Raku as a Gorilla woman. Despite her efforts to show her girly side to the guy, the guy feels it to be casual and then the girl gets angry and goes ape sht
reportRecommended by MrkSlvtrr
Both MC Raku and Uryuu are both matched with girls they don't know. The difference is that Uryuu has to choose his own candidate among the 3 shrine maidens Yae, Yuna, and Asahi to be his wife. At first Uryuu refused and for some reason he accepted and helped the shrine maidens who also had a complicated past like him.

High school, love is in the air,.... If that's what you like than Nisekoi will take you to the fantasy land of romance on a trip you shall never forget;)
reportRecommended by susan00
Both manga are on the same harem genre, school life genre. But GE is a more serious harem-romance-drama manga, compared to Nisekoi

- Main couples start off from a wrong foot and have to spend a lot of time together, but both gradually fall in love with each other. - Both series involve pretending: Kaoru pretends to be a girl in "Real mo Tama ni wa Uso wo Tsuku", main leads pretend to be a real couple in "Nisekoi". - School setting + first love. - Lots of cute romantic moments. Less so in Nisekoi though, since it's much longer and a bit dragged imo. There are some differences though, while Real mo Tama ni wa Uso wo Tsuku tells a story of just one couple, Nisekoi goes with a harem  read more

It kinda like Romeo and Juliet life, they living in an environment that hate each other, but they hide their relationship. However, they develop their friendship and got the support from their friends, this manga also similar to Boarding School Juliet. Last but not least, the female lead is so green flag and the story and plot itself is wholesome, so just give it a try already!
reportRecommended by iKool
These two both have like that childhood and trippy relationships from when the two MC's were childhood friends and separated in some way. So if you liked this aspect of Witchcraft works then check out Nisekoi, although Nisekoi is really annoying to read and super long, but otherwise there isn't anything similar between the two.
reportRecommended by SebastheCroc
shigatsu wa kimi no uso is similar to nisekoi because of its romantic comedy.except for the fact that shigatsu wa kimi no uso is a bit more serious than nisekoi. Then again nisekoi is a shonen romance manga so you cant expect it to be to serious. :3
reportRecommended by evilpuppy
Nisekoi has a fake relationship which is the opposite of Himaten where they have a secret relationship. The main characters are eerily similar and Kanai is basically Onodera 2.0. They're both classic romcoms where the girls slowly but surely fall in love with the mc as they get into clichéd situations.
reportRecommended by gayfurryweeb
The mc are pretending to be acouple but Hanazono is a little different from nisekoi because there is no such thing as promises but it can guarantee this is a manga worth reading i wont tell any spoils so try it out for yourself
reportRecommended by jerikjames
Both taking school and comedy settings Both have much main heroine.
reportRecommended by Syureria
Nisekoi and Masamune-kun no Revenge are very similar plots. While Nisekoi is much longer and involves a few more rivals to the waifu wars, in principle, they are doing the same thing. Nisekoi popularized this formula for harem manga: introduce a MC who knew the girl during childhood, have them meet again in high school, but add mystery about who the girl is or introduce rival girls to slow down the real relationship. In short, if you read one of these manga and are desperate for something similar, read the other one. If you hated the premise of one of these, stay far away from  read more

reportRecommended by yukyakyuk
Your standard (supporting) harem shounen romantic comedy... and a lot of dragging... Both involve girl(s) related to MCs' past and forgotten memories. I like the main plot of open sesame better, but its dragging is absolutely terrible, even compared to Nisekoi.
reportRecommended by Manganatic
Both mangas belong to genres such as, comedy, romance, harem, so it's your classic Ecchi harem, there's also Tsugumi from Nisekoi who adds an action aspect to the series, she's a hitman, and just so happens that in Ninkoi there's ninjas (kinda similar in some aspects), it's the main point actually, besides that the female protagonist reminds me a lot of Tsugumi, if you like harem manga these two are a good option.
reportRecommended by Fabrizio00
Both are love story and both are awesome but i personally liked the anime of bunny girl senpai more than the manga and nisekoi is an incomplete anime so u have to read the manga to know the whole story
reportRecommended by Katsuki_Rayu
Both mangas feature a male surrounded by many females that love him (a harem, basically), with one of those girls, going out with him. All girls are popular around guys, and due to them loving him and him only, he is often sought out as a traitor by his friends. A rom-com that features their mundane everyday life in highschool. If you've liked one, you may enjoy the other.
reportRecommended by chierii
Both manga series has a main female protagonist who is tough, independent, and has strange interactions with the main male protagonist. Both series has a lot of comedy, drama, some action, and a little romance. Both series main male protagonist also has a fiance and other characters who interacts with him that also creates a sort of rivalry between the main female protagonists. Both series are lighthearted and has a school life setting as well as a strange home environment.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both are romantic comedies with tons of tomboys and brute girls. Both begin with a pair of characters forced to date but other girls appear in the middle of the relationship. There are a girl who first hate him and later turned into love, a lost fiancee, a shy girl... Ranma have more variety, there are more male characters and not all the girls have a crush with the same boy neither all the boys with the same girl like in Nisekoi. Ranma also adds martial arts.
reportRecommended by BlindNoldor
Nisekoi and Golden Time are romantic comedy series that focuses a lot on relationships. In particular, the chemistry between the main male and female lead is a prominent aspect of the story. Both series also involves building up the story with events from the past that influences events in the present. There are certain mysteries regarding the main male protagonist's past that they can't entirely recall. Throughout both series, we see that being explored in packages.

If you like high school comedy these manga are for you! They both are very cute, have very funny scenes, and shows the main male protaganist determination (Raku is determined to find the girl he met when he was a child; Taiyou tries to make Hinata remember him.

Romantic Comedies with the main lead in a fake 'relationship' with a female lead, and the childhood friend is left behind
reportRecommended by laststandb
Both manga feel quite similar, with some twists that makes each unique. While both are "harems" Nisekoi focuses more on love than Hoshino.
reportRecommended by Whmal
Both titles involve characters who have to deceive others primarily in a school setting. Although Nisekoi is a romance series, Mx0 only features it as a subplot.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
The general premise of both these serialisations involve couples who are essentially forced to be with each other; which gives rise to a lot of misunderstandings, but also opportunities for feelings to develop.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
Both feature situations and circumstances that arise due to uncertainty characters have to face regarding the past. In Ayu Mayu, the male protagonist is not sure who his sister is; whereas in Nisekoi, the male protagonist is not sure who he made a promise with when he was still a child.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
Both are light-hearted romantic comedies that oftentimes use misunderstandings to drive not only the narrative, but also character development.
reportRecommended by radiantfire
The protagonists have unfortunate circumstances that get them into awkward situations with girls; in Nisekoi, its his gangster family and in Nyan Koi, its the cat curse. The cast is similar. Both protagonists have a mutual crush with shy girl, a tsundere who is always arguing with the protagonist to the point where he absolutely hates her and a female that gets confused for a male. Both focus more on comedy than the romance.
reportRecommended by badgerkins
Both have a lot of good comedy and are harem and romance. I highly recommend them both!
reportRecommended by Nepgyaaaa
Main character makes a promise with a girl. Both very funny with the harem elements. I would probably say Ai Kora is less ecchi than Nisekoi though. Both very good reads.
reportRecommended by glue493
Nisekoi and TWGOK are fairly light-hearted harem-style manga, with both stories taking place in contemporary Japanese school settings. Both utilise back-story to drive the romance sub-plots, with Nisekoi adopting a fated-love scenario and TWGOK basing it's various character plots on a more supernatural stage. The humour and slice-of-life elements also make both series easy to consume in either small quantities, or rush through in one long burst.
reportRecommended by XPepper
Both stories feature kids who made promises with another kid long ago, and they both struggle to find out who is who. However, in Kitchen Princess, it's from a girl's point of view and Nisekoi is from a guy's point of view. Also, Kitchen Princess is more dramatic and Nisekoi is more comedic and quirky. Overall, both stories have similar stories and charming characters that readers will get attached to.
reportRecommended by lowlifeloveliver
Both are shounen romantic comedies with lots of slapstick and exaggerated facial expressions. Both revolve around childhood friends reconnecting after years apart, and then moving from hating each other to becoming friends to.... perhaps something more. Sakura Discord is much shorter and discards most (but not all) of Nisekoi's harem elements.
reportRecommended by Jerakor
Well first of all, the main character has lots of misfortune, but these later lead up to a little harem i guess. Nisekoi however has lot more romance while TAMNI has some romance(sub genre) These manga may be very different but in some aspects they are the same. For example they both have a mc who do stuff for the girls, which makes them like em.
reportRecommended by Tolafe
- MC who is good at cooking with spiky hair - harem - talented, attractive, blond tsun character - cute, easily-flustered sweet character - very curvy tsundere with short hair character

The protagonist in both stories have some kind of 'childhood' memories with the girls and both of them are trying to maintain their relationship with the girls to prevent something nasty from happening.
reportRecommended by Jsnoob
The concept of a "fake girlfriend" is used, but that's about it. Nisekoi revolves more about the mystery behind a pendant. There's not really any #-timing, just a love rivalry between childhood fiance, childhood friend, and the "fake" girlfriend

this recommendation also concerns To-LOVE-Ru since Darkness is the sequel to it Both manga have exactly the same atmosphere : a guy in love with a childhood friend who also loves him but neither of the two is aware of the feelings they have one for the other and a special girl suddenly barges in the life of the guy and due to circumstances, they have to stick together basically, it is the same manga, every female lead in Nisekoi has her equivalent in To LOVE-Ru, the only exception is that To LOVE-Ru is more focused on the ecchi/comedy part, while Nisekoi emphasizes more on the  read more

Both manga have a very unique romance setting tied in with youth. They also both give a third person point of view that adds to the reader's appreciation for the humorous parts, yet can still keep you guessing and anticipating what will happen next. The art style is also relatively similar, and share a more "cartoonish" character style during certain moments. Altogether I wish that I had found both of these much sooner than I did and strongly recommend them to any adolescent or teen reader.
