Both anime involves girls that have some unique background and needs a male protagonist to help them studying, battling against the antagonist of exams and fear of failing to achieve their academic goals. Male protagonist is poor works hard in school to avoid the continuing poor life.

an anime can't get any more similar than this. is what I thought when I watched the first episode of hanayome. adding past events as a part of a harem story can't get any spicier than nisekoi and hanayome. in the end we'll (hopefully) get an answer to whom the MC ended up with, and who is the girl of his past.

Both comedic. Both guys are your typical quiet ones, but Kazuya in Rent a girlfriend is a complete degenerate (part of the fun).

almost similar storyline

A romance-harem that's key appeal is for us weebs to decide who the best waifu is. Both these shows excel at highlighting the qualities of its characters.

The girls are bad for study, they need someone to help them, so the main character will try to help . You have a similar Romance. The main character is a little bit the same very smart but without a lot of money. The girls need to succeed their exam otherwise it would be a problem for their futur !

Both animes are an 2019 winter season's adaptation of the romantic harem manga from Shonen Magazine, which are dedicated to MC’s relationship with several girls who are sisters. They even received a joint cover a few days before the premiere. At the same time, these shows are opposite in their portrayal of romance, while Go-Toubun is mostly quite subtle about the affections of girls, Kanojo openly depicts the romantic and sexual life of the characters. In addition, the first show is a lighthearted comedy, while the second is a somewhat dark melodrama.

Both are harems with a main character who is very invested in studying.

Though the story is different. The two shows share an extremely similar art style, plus the character's personalities are quite alike too.

-Both have main characters that avoid people but are suddenly thrown into a situation where they are forced to play nice with girls they don't enjoy the company of at first -Both have a female lead that immediately is open and friendly to the protagonist despite his standoffishness, and a female lead that has no desire to get along with the protagonist whatsoever (more than one in the case of 5-toubun no Hanayome) -Both involve the antisocial main characters eventually being drawn out to social events by the female characters where drama and hilarity ensues

Both of these series gives of a similar kind of vibe, funny and relaxing but yet dramatic and serious at the same time. While watching 5-toubun i couldn't stop thinking of Toradora. Both Fuutarou and Ryuuji are very similar male leads in terms of looks and personalities.

Both these anime are romcom and harem

Both are harem animes but hensuki has a twist. The girls all have their own kinks

Loners offering help. The Quintessential Quintuplets and Bunny Girl Senpai feature loner MCs Fuutarou and Sakuta respectively, in which, they offer support to the different heroines they are situated with. Bunny Girl Senpai uses outcast Sakuta and gives him different social problems of heroines in the form of the supernatural to try and solve. Quintessential Quintuplets is less drastic in that Fuutarou only needs to play the tutor for the Nakano sisters in hopes that they pass until graduation. Both anime are good rom-coms in a school setting with Bunny Girl Senpai being supernatural and dramatic, whilst Quintessential Quintuplets offers harem.

Similarities: Both are harem, and romcom series.

Of course these two are similar because they are both your standard, vanilla harem show, but what what makes them noticeably connected is the main male leads mentality. Both are very studious and value education more than your typical youthful fantasies, especially the idea of falling in love. They share this sentiment largely because they want to help their family financially. The art styles are both surprisingly unique but similar to each other. Boasting bright pastel colors and giving the female characters bold hair colors that really make them stand out.

While both series, at a first glance, do seem to share few besides what constitutes a regular basis for romantic comedy shows, it is arguable they both make you feel in a similar mood. First off, two things that could stick with a viewership might be how the comedy lightens up any previous state of mind, and also how colourful the art strikes. On the one hand, we have a harem setting based on tutoring; on the other, two protagonists bonding closer by sharing a hobby. However, both shows permit the budding of a romantic bonding, with a tendency from our quintuplets to dramatise a bit? Let's  read more

-Both see the protagonist thrust into a situation where he is suddenly surrounded by women -Both have the members of the protagonist's harem initially adverse to him, and they eventually grow and fall in love with him -Both have a protagonist that is (mostly) completely oblivious to the romantic advances of his pursuers -Both feature numerous similar comedic situations

similarity: -mc are studious loners -they are forced to coexist with a bunch of girls each with distinctive personality -a lot of misunderstanding -they are initially dismissive of the girls but gradually become emotionally attached with each other

MC are both tutors where they help other characters get an excelling score on the classes they have failed.

Both focus on the MC trying to help the other female main characters in the show. Both are romance anime, although QQ focuses on the MC's relationship with each of the sisters romantically, while Yamada-Kun narrows down the focus to the main love interest.

Both shows feature female lead cast and are most of the times quite wholesome, Though Gotoubun No Hanayome is a romcom, I am pretty sure who liked Asobi Asobase will also like Gotoubun No Hanayome !

Love is war is the best romcom but The quintessential quintuplets is the second best romcom. Same genre, good male main character, top tier girls and funny

I love calling Bishounen (Reverse Quintessential Quintuplets) because the main character is now a girl and the rest of the 5 are now boys (When you consider 1 male character and 5 female characters in Quintuplets). The reason I called it that way is because Mayumi wants answers from 5 males, Hyouta, Manabu, Sousaku, Nagahiro, and Michiru to the mysterious problem, similar in a way with the Nakano sisters who needed answers to solve in their practice from one male, Fuutarou. Any answer is an answer no matter or whatever you’re trying to solve. These Bishounen males do work together to help Mayumi very similar to  read more

Nakano sisters, meet the Osumatsu brothers. Basically a more comedic and parody for whose who wants quintuplet/sextuplet anime.

Both shows are harem, romance and fan service anime with great art style.

Guy gets involved with 5 girls who he had unlucky encounters and bad first impressions with and there is the general mystery and unpredictability of who is gonna win.

Solitary pieces offering help. Clannad and The Quintessential Quintuplets both use solitary pieces, delinquent Tomoya and introvert Nagisa for Clannad, and loner Fuutarou for Quintessential Quintuplets for as the object who leads the helping hand. With Clannad, both MCs are used to solve the heroines' personal problems respectively. Quintessential Quintuplets is the same though the Nakano sisters problems are academic-related rather than personal. Both are good rom-coms, however, Clannad leans towards supernatural and dramatic elements, giving Quintessential Quintuplets a view from a harem side.

Both anime are similar in the sense that they involve a guy trying to teach a group of trouble makers. Onizuka teaches an entire class while Uesugi is a student tutoring five girls who are quintuplets. Over the coarse of both shows, the students start off hating both of them, but gradually open up to Onizuka and Uesugi. It’s an uphill battle for these two to gain their students’ trust, but they win them over as the show progresses. If you’re into bonds between characters starting off weak, but getting stronger as time passes, you might like these shows.

A romance between 1 guy to a harem of girls, where the guy is face with such problem as to whom shall he choose from an array of beautiful girls all vying for his affection.

Both anime are Harems, and share 3 voice actors. (Minase Inori, Sakura Ayane, Matsuoka Yoshitsugu)

-Both are lighthearted romantic comedies that contrast their own setting which in both cases is a school with an upper class/aristocratic theming -Both dip into drama with a similar tone and tone shift later into the season, and they both revolve around a similar event -Both involve two opposing parties laying traps for the other in order to achieve a desired result, Kaguya-sama being a battle of shrewd willpower in order to get the other to confess, Quintuplets being the five sisters avoiding studying however they can and Fuutaro doing his best to dispel their efforts
report Recommended by thelectricow
Both have comedy, good characters and are relaxing and fun to watch.

Wholesome Harem with a smart protagonist. Each girl gets their own character development rather than focusing on fanservice although 5toubun has more of it due to how the characters are drawn vs how TWGOK handles it OSTs sang by the cast Similar seiyuu cast with HanaKana and Ayana Taketatsu

Both top-tier harem comedy anime. Wholesome protagonists, great girls and gorgeous soundtracks.

In both animes theres sisters/copys who pretty much look alike, each one with a different personality.
report Recommended by Bokoshoko
Both have in common a teacher/tutor whose main aim is to turn bad students into excellent students, while being caring about them and looking for different perspectives and approaches for each learner. Other than that, and the fact they are both school anime, they are fairly different, Gotoubun is more of a Harem romcom, while Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is a Shounen.

Well off. QQ and Shomin Sample both feature girls who are better off financially than others, though receiving the chance to spend time with male protags who would be further down the ladder than they themselves are. With QQ doing this in a way that gives the intentional direction of growing relationships, Shomin shortcuts its way into a box standard harem standpoint, building relationships with a more systematic method. Both are pretty fun anime, as harem usually is, but if you want more of a pleasing story, take QQ. For ecchi, take Shomin.

Both anime have central plots of an MC with a serious demeanor, who tries to help each of the 5 main girls accept themselves and each other. The part that differs and makes QQ so enjoyable, by dodging cliches in present in most harems the show is able to stay funny. So if you liked Grisaia but wished for a more lighthearted, wholesome and a bigger emphasis on romance, I 100% recommend QQ. optional read Got me back into anime after a long 2-3 year hiatus. so pretty damn good :)

Now they are both harem anime, and I recommend these because the MC actually have some charm to them and it makes sense why they would have a harem and not just by simply existing
