A romance-harem that's key appeal is for us weebs to decide who the best waifu is. Both these shows excel at highlighting the qualities of its characters.
Both anime are harem, while go toubun focus more on the romance, Saekano focus more on the mc ambition. But i can assure if you like either of this anime, you will like the other one, this is because all of the heroine take a liking into the mc. It is just the mc itself didn't realize it.

If you're into Harem anime then these two are good choices because both animes have drama, comedy, and school. (But I don't think I count Saenai as a School anime because it doesn't include school activities like events and things.)

Both have similar builds to present you the main topic: which girl will win the MC. If you don't like this kind of story, just don watch it, but as i watched a lot o shows to find the one that could make me feel as i felt watching 5-toubun no hanayome, for those who are hunting for these kind of content, Saekano is a great option.
