Freezing

similarities: sekirei- pandora ashikabi- limiter both have action that can enjoy the viewer, specially the harem fan :) 

Story is about strong fighting girls with a male partner that makes them more powerful. Similar fighting scenes of clothes being torn apart leading to tons of fans service and ecchi scenes. Also both actually have pretty good plot and storylines. 

Both anime are action-packed and have proportional fanservice :D 

Both are strong female characters who fight each other and boobs. Sekirei is lighter and funnier where Freezing is more serious. 

Guy fights along a strong girl and he's in some kind of pact with her, but I think Sekirei had more funny moments and more Ecchi. Overall l liked both series i hope there going to be a 3rd season to Sekirei and a 2nd one for Freezing 

Both protagonist have made a contract to the heroine to fight with their side, and both male has the strong determination to help their contractee .. In sekirei, he only has more contracts made than freezing..both good action and harem!

Super powered ladies make up a large chunk of both of the show's casts. They also have to partner with (mostly) male characters to unleash their full power. The main male characters in both of the series are also timid quiet characters that let the girls do most of the fighting while providing support from behind them. 

Weak male MCs are making a pact with the strong female MCs who are fighting in their stead . After kissing the female MCs are gaining more strength than they have already. 

Similar relationships with men and women in fights. Magical powers in both. Both have ecchi/harem combo. Ripping off clothes in both whenever there's a fight. Freezing is more serious and violent, and Sekirei is more focused on funny/pandering fanservice. With two seasons, they can count as 24 episodes each minus specials. (If you count them, Freezing has more.) 

Female Protagonist. Lots of fun action and bits of romance here and there 

In both series, the Male protagonist fight alongside his Female Partner in a Battle to Survive, the difference is that in Sekirei they fight each other to Survive and in Freezing they fight against a different group known as Nova. In terms of Harem, Sekirei has more Harem than Freezing, but Action is very good and nerve-racking in both of them. Sekirei is more towards magic and Freezing is towards Sci-fi, and in terms of Comedy both will surely make you laugh but their will be tension too among the characters. If you love an Harem, look no further because you have found it. Both series have females that constantly go after the main lead guy. But that isn't a bad thing either. The women have big knockers which is an plus. The story is very interesting. There are some dark themes behind the characters past as well. Fighting in this anime is impressive. I gave both anime an 10. 

Ever since i saw Highschool DxD, I tried to find a similar manga with an anime adaption that as ecchi, harem, shonen and exciting. I tried many mangas such as Kiss x sis or HOTD but none of them met my expectations. Through mangareader.net i came across this manga called "Freezing", once i finished reading the manga chapter (it was a random one) i instantly went to watch it... This manga is the closest i could find, it has the same amount of exposed "body parts"! But unlike DxD, Freezing started with the same amount of shonen as in the latest episodes of DxD new (greatly increased). i prefer more ecchi and comedy time than shonen (for shonen i prefer Naruto, OP ect.) for this genre. But i really respect Freezing because it never changed the proportions of the many elements inside the manga. If you look for a manga, anime that looks just like DxD but with a completely different plot, this is the thing for you. Which one is better?: DxD > Freezing, not because Freezing is bad (its not bad at all) but because DxD is amazing. Both are worth watching for harem fans.  read more 

Both shows have lots of ecchi nude scenes. Both also have very similar plot elements. Only real difference is the dxd is a harem and the protagonist is a pervert while the one in freezing is not. 

Harem panty fighter shows with similar relationships in romance and battles. DxD is more popular because of it's very perverted nature. Women also fight and get their clothes broken while battling. But Freezing tells a more mature story, and the clothes aren't the only thing the girls get ripped off. 

both have alot of echii and action moments 

They are action ecchi anime where the fights often include the girls' clothes being torn off. They involve school aged characters and have a school boy as the main character. 

Fighting,Echii goodness in a school where teachers are nowhere to be found, filled with boys on steroids and girls that look like they just came fresh out of a brothel.Makes you wonder if they really are underage. 

In both, students at a school are made to fight. Mostly girl's, and the guys are either at the head of command or are made to assist the women. Both have extreme ecchi, which doesn't faze me, but as a warning. 

To call something such as Ikki Tousen & Freezing classics would to many film critics be pretty similar to getting emotionally bludgeoned to death with a lead pipe! But there is always room for quality teenage hormone pandering in the hall of fame. With that said Ikki Tousen and Freezing are similar as they are amongst the best of its genre, forget about character driven story-lines lets utilize panty shots and boob slips as plot development!! That goes without saying, Freezing and Ikki Tousen are examples of the fap worthy editions to the harem-ecchi-action-school life anime that are never afraid to dwindle with what they want to be, forget censored crap this is the way to go to appeal to the 13 year old immature male within us all. read more

Both anime are set in a sort of futuristic world, and girls are dominant. Infiinite Stratos has girls fighting in mech suits, whereas Freezing has girls fighting with weapons they summon from having an orgasm. Similar? :P sorta, but they're both harems AND they are both airing this year so go watch both at the same time! 

They both have powers than only females can use. The Difference between Freezing and IS is that Freezing is more ecchi and IS is about mechas 

Both have an international cast of large chested bishoujo who come from all kind of different countries. These women fight using technologies only women can use and summon some kind of armor and weapons. In IS women become some kind of mecha; while in Freezing women wear paper-thin clothing and mainly melee weapons. Also both anime are ecchi.  

Doesnt really have that overall feel, IS has more rom-com like feel while Freezing is more based on crazy action. However while watching Freezing it reminded me of IS with the Females having the special powers or that they are the only ones who can do a certain thing. The main male protagonist in both animes are "different" then the other males.  

This is my first recommendation so please tell me if im doing something wrong ;) Both IS and Freezing involve extremely powerful women gathered at a High School in order to learn about their abilities. Both male protagonists seem to be unique because of their gender (IS) or their personal skills (Freezing) Furthermore both male protagonists manage to create a Harem As for the differences IS is a mecha like genre-anime ( gundam etc.) while Freezing makes use of genetic manipulation and fantasy (somebody compared it to neon genesis evangelion) A big difference is the amount of tension and drama within the story While IS seems kind of carefree and funny Freezing deals more with the problems of the protagonists (both male and female) To sum it up there are definitely some diefferences but to me the overall feeling was the same I enjoyed both of them  read more 

They are both harem anime focused on big boobies?!?! They have really good story lines and focus on the relationship between girls and guys. They also both revolve around fighting. 

in both anime the female characters have some kind of science fiction power. both anime give the same feeling. both anime have girls fighting each other. both anime have panty shots! :P in both anime the main heroine likes the main character. 

Both series contain plenty of action, ecchi, drama, comedy, and later some emotional moments. Both series' protagonists' lives are thrown into a world that they've never known before and meets other characters of various personalities. Both series involves action with supernatural elements beyond the capacities of our world. 

The girls takes a strange interest to the male protagonist. Ecchi fanservice and panty shots Both background stories took place in a specialised school of certain technology/magic abilities. Male protagonist falls down a lot. And while falling down they will grab important. One of them will be sticky to the protagonist, one is a tsundere, and one will be shy. Girls tear each other’s clothes while fighting.  

lots of fanservice and pretty girls fightning each other, although maken-ki is not a good anime that is actually worth watching, unless you're searching for an anime with lots of pantyshots and oppai 

Similarities: - Ecchis, the girls have an exaggerated breast size and there are a lot of excessive fan service influenced scenes. - Both academy's specialise in fighting with weapons (Maken and Volt Weapon) - The male protagonist just wants to protect those around him. - The male protagonist is also the centre of attention by girls. - Both contain comedy, ecchi and action. - Both contain supernatural advancements of technology. Dissimilarities: - The protagonist in Freezing is stronger and also has a more dramatic life. - Freezing's plot is more plot orientated but it is still held back by the fan service. - The students in Freezing work as a collective to take down the enemies (Novas) from an alternate dimension.  read more 

They both contain copious amounts of blood, gore, nudity, and violence. Lucy from Elfen Lied and Bridgette from Freezing are pretty much identical, in personality and appearance. Some of the faces Lucy and Bridgette make can be photoshopped off one character and placed on the other and the image would be identical. Both are good, if you don't mind all the nudity. 

both have a horror ecchi genre to them and lots of bloody violence. Freezing is just a slight bit milder.  

They're not afraid to combine blood with naked females while a dark story goes on. 

Elfin Lied and Freezing both have a similar vibe. Both have a pretty dark overall story, both main character girls have a sort of trigger to switch their personalities (even if it is way more apparent in Elfin Lied) and both showcase some sort of nudity. Also the main guy in each of the animes are important and are probably technically the main character, yet they really are much less noticeable. 

Both have beings from another dimension bent on destruction that only a select group of students can defeat. The main characters also have deep seated flaws which must be overcome for them to reach their full potential. Also unlike other anime, things don't always run smoothly in both of these very good anime. 

Have almost same concept of Nova/Pandora with Angel/Eva. It's like Freezing is a poor rip-off of NGE (only the Nova thing). 

Lettuce be cereal, the "Novas" are a 1-1 copy of Angels/EVAs with the aesthetics of RahXephon Dolems. In addition, episode 10 pretty much confirms the similarities between the series Freezing and NGE.

Strong graphic violence and strong female warrior... both have limbs flying all over the screen 

Why there aren't more people recommending claymore is beyond me. Both stories have have, be warned there are potential/insignificant spoilers that follow: -A large number of girls who belong to an organization/school whose purpose is to defeat monsters/aliens. -In order for these girls to match fighting ability they have to have the monsters/aliens DNA bonded to them - If they use to much of the monster/alien power they will become a monster/aliens -There are ranks of who is better and who is worse in the organization/school -You have male lead who has is younger and has a strong emotional connection to the female lead -You have a female lead who can tap into the alien/monster ability to a level the other girls cant/haven't yet. -Both stories have technical fighting terminology -Each high ranking girl has an ability they're significantly in tuned with -Both have lots of bloody fighting -A serious undertone -A past/historical female who was the greatest of them all Need I say more? Similar theme that involves powerful girls with supernatural abilities to fight an powerful foe. The main girls for both series seems to have an enormous amount of power. Throughout the series, there is also emotional drama being portrayed and shows the side of the main girl as being a bit more vulnerable. Both girls also harbors a dark past. As for the series, there is fan-service involving violence, blood, and gore. There is also a bit of a darker mystery behind the scenes in both anime that the main characters are not aware of. Death, suffering, and power are themes that may drive some viewers into watching these two action packed series.  read more 

Both pairs act similarly to each other (Male MC is determined to be with Female MC) and although Female MC is of royalty, they're more of outcasts in the system and act as a recluse, although very adept in combat. Both shows have weird crap coming from the sky obviously harming humanity. In combat, the only way to fight is to get lots of skin showing. 

Both series take place in a futuristic setting. Extraterrestrial beings exist and threaten daily life for the citizens on Earth. To combat these monsters genetically altered vixens, which in this case are Pandora (Freezing), Norma (Cross Ange), must enlist in the armed forces and fight. Death and destruction are routine for these soldiers who can't turn back to their old care-free life. The females leads, Satellizer and Angelise  are royalty with a horrific background. The pain caused from their past makes them shun others who try to be their friends. To make things worse, they are full of themselves, which causes jealousy among the other cadets in the academy, especially since they are naturally gifted in combat. read more 

Both shows use female only characters for soldiers and both groups are forced to fight against their will against an enemy hardly know anything about. Both shows incorporate special abilities Cross Ange has characters that whenever they sing a certain tune brings out the true power of their Para-mail, Freezing has characters that use special abilities due to the stigmata infused into their body. As a heads up Freezing has more characters in this category than Cross Ange. Both shows have some Yuri overall Cross Ange features these kinds of things more compared to Freezing that shows bits of it here in their for both of it's seasons. The differences between the shows is that Cross Ange is mecha (pretty much a non-canon spin off to Gundam in my opinion lol) and Freezing is a school/superpower anime. read more

In Freezing it's the Novas, in Shingeki no Kyojin, it's the titans. Many people die fighting them because they are very powerful in both cases.

A kid attending the same school that his sister used to attend, and he causes an inconvience for a girl who has a lot of respect? Now where have I heard that before? Okay, I'm not saying that The Asterisk War is a rip-off of Freezing, but I can't help but notice a LOT of plot elements that feel like they were copied from Freezing. 

i'm pretty sure if you liked Freezing, you maybe like The Asterisk War too. - both are Harem - Both has pretty cool designs - Both has pretty cool weapons - A lot of fights and characters - a simple plot but a good level of enjoyment. Although Freezing is more of a sci-fi fantasy where as Queen's Blade has a "knights and swords medieval fantasy" setting they both have plenty of visually stunning and anytime a characer "takes damage," their tops are removed. The ecchi in Queen's Blade is practically hentai in my opinion. Character development of each supporting character was much more emphasized in Queen's Blade where as character development Freezing focuses heavily on the main female and male lead characters. Both had excellent soundtracks by the same composer as well. Queen's Blade's soundtrack could be taken straight from a JRPG, which I specifically loved the wide usage of the flute, in addition to orchestral strings and piano found in both series. read more 

Both are action ecchi anime with mainly female cast. Both have overdose of fanservice. In both, main character has some special power and fighst against villains. While AIKa is more comedy, Freezing is more drama.

Both are ecchi actions where big-breasted girls figh another big-breasted girls. Freezing has more fanservice. 

If you like action, ecchi, romance, drama, and fighting, then you'll love both these series. Freezing focuses a bit on the science fiction side while Seikon no Qwaser focuses more on the supernatural. Both series contain girls with large boobs that eventually develops feelings for the MC.  

Both shows consist of characters using materialized weapons to kill alien invaders by destroying their cores. They also both have a locked away "patient 0" that has been changed in someway from their interaction with the alien invaders and researching this change is what allowed the characters to create the weapons they use to fight off the alien species.  

Both animes features sotacon romance, that's senior mujer (older girl) to joven chico (younger boy). In "Kanokon" the relationship is more of a cougar going after and wanna "DO" the tadpole kind of thing, while in "Freezing" it is more of a brother sister thing for the girl and his muchacho (male lead) Both are also classified as encchi, with both big bouncy boobies, pany and nipple shots. Both the muchachos (male lead) kinda serves as the female lead's man bitch. Both feamle lead have special abilities, however, they also have to rely on their muchachos to help them out. 

a superpower female chara looking for a natural male chara, at the middle of story, they reveal the real male chara power and......lot of boobs... 

Both shows attempt to establish a sci-fi perspective on what is essentially a magical girl story. Mai Otome has contracts, control gems, and nano-machines to grant girls super-human abilities and transformations. Freezing has nova, stigmata, and limiters which grant girls super-human abilities and transformations. However, where Freezing is a graphic ecchi themed series, Mai Otome is much more tame and favours comedy over blood, breasts, and panty-shots. 

If you liked the dark series and the focus on the relationship development between characters, Freezing falls along similar lines. Both have dark pasts that affect their present relationships and fight an enemy they know little about. Both involve sci-fi and do have some fan service in it as well. The girls main characters are both stand-offish but become "dere's" as the relationship develops. 

Both anime have the same author and feature a male protagonist who fights alongside a stronger female protagonist throughout the course of each anime. 

The Male protagonists in both series have somewhat same situations when they are joining their Respective Academies, in Freezing, Kazuya's elder sister who was a Pandora died while fighting a Nova and in Absolute Duo, Tooru's sister was killed by a mysterious man. The difference is that Kazuya wanted to become strong and fight the Nova to protect mankind just like his Sister whereas Tooru wanted to become stronger and avenge his sister's death. In Freezing, the Female fighters known as Pandora can use Stigmata to manifest Superhuman Fighting Skills and Weapons while in Absolute Duo, male and female both known as Blazers can use their Soul Powers to manifest Weapons and Shields. While the Action scenes are amazing in both of them, Harem is more in Absolute Duo. Absolute Duo is more towards magic and supernatural powers and Freezing is more towards sci-fi. Other than that there are many scenes where you can see tension among characters. So if you like one then you may like the other one too. That's it guys. read more 

Both seem similar to each other since all the girls have to protect the world from evil beings. Another similarity is that each girl needs a guy to be there partner. Also girls can only obtain this power as well.  

It may not be all blood and horror, but it does have a lot of ecchi. And the idea is formatted around a school of fighters who summon weapons similar to the way they do in freezing and fight each other.
