Similar concept of adult going back in time into body of his younger self and tries to change the past to save a girl close to him.
report Recommended by abystoma2
Both of the main characters have the ability to go back and change the past in order to save their beloved person. They keep going through endless loops to gain the destiny they desire. Both very emotional and the MC goes through lots of changes in terms of maturity/character development
report Recommended by iNinjeek
Both Tokyo Revengers and Steins;gate have the time travel element Both have romance concept (Saving your girl) Both have a great character development Both of the show are well written with great plot twists Both of the shows have charismatic characters
report Recommended by Seadragongamv
Both anime include time travel with a handshake as their main gimmick. It is not explained why but that's how it is. If you want to watch some unjustified time travel action, if you liked one of these two, then go watch the other one.

Gangs, delinquents, fights for power! Both series will keep you on the edge of your seat, but they also have an emotional side, as the characters face adversities. The interaction between the main characters in Tokyo Revengers (Takemichi and Mikey) is similar to how the main characters in Banana Fish interact. Both of them will give you the same feeling as you're watching.

Both main characters are delinquents who gets wrapped up in the world of gang and violence in high school. They end up creating bonds with friends they never expect
report Recommended by iNinjeek
- Both revolves around gangs in tokyo - Both have interesting characters with a great story - Good and unpredictable plot
report Recommended by Illumine
Hot-blooded high-school deliquents that are quick to start a fight. Difference is that Kyou kara Ore wa is more of a comedy while Tokyo Revengers is more of a drama.
report Recommended by abystoma2
Both deal with going back to the past to change things. -Bokutachi no Remake however, is about college life and is more laid-back. You can expect comedy and some drama -Tokyo Revengers is set in middle/high school and involves gangs, action, is a bit more dramatic, and is about saving people from death.
report Recommended by WinterBlacksmith
The protagonist of both anime gets the chance to go back in time (with their own methods) to save their friend.

- Both anime are about time travelling - Both mc Takemichi and Shinpei have almost the same mission
report Recommended by derbyyyeee
Both the mc's are in bottom socities voilence, fights , bonds, thrills. only ignore that Tokyo revengers has time travel which is almost nonexistent as it used as a tool. real life scenarios in both.
report Recommended by misthistoric
The shows a fundamentally different - but share similar topics: Gang-culture, Delinquents, Responsibility, Friendship/Peer-Pressure. Both depict the power structure and struggles of Gangs in Tokyo's Toshima-ward (Ikebukuro) and follows an MC who's 'inside' while retaining an 'outside' perspective. Instead of following a lifestyle, both MCs get involved for the sake of others.
report Recommended by Asbjoernson
Follows the idea of reliving the past to fix one's mistake, acquiring a chance to live and regain what was taken. In my opinion, the two are fun to watch as both incorporate romantic concepts in a fictional scientific series. The vibes that the characters in these series can and might provide are quite similar despite having different character dynamics. Good series to learn and reflect on; if you loved either one, then chances are you will like the latter too.

same sub genre. delinquents and fights. shounan bakusouzoku is comedic and tokyo revengers is kinda heavy. you'll enjoy both if you love delinquent genre, one thing is in revengers it's mentioned about time travel but don't expect much of time travel shit cause it's only used as a arc opener/ending nothing more*
report Recommended by misthistoric
fights with no reason whatsoever , but fun to watch although one is humorous (crows) and other one is kinda dark (Tokyo revengers) they both deliver delinquent ways of life that any delinquent fan enjoys Tokyo revengers is in past which affects the future somewhat serious. P. S. time travel is only used as a tool while crows is normal carefree delinquents throwing hands for fun.
report Recommended by misthistoric
just finished 91 days it has elements that revengers has, both are kinda dark although revengers has that bonds, freinship that makes it seem not that dark but it is ) both have a original plot that makes it enjoyable to watch any of them. * yea i forgot revengers has that time travel but it is a tool as best for futher arcs so don't expect much of time travel in there it's about delinquents fights, gangs , bonds.
report Recommended by misthistoric
These stories both involve a time travel plot that allows the characters to travel back and forth between the past and the future. Both Takamichi and Konoha are similarly weak characters who desperately wish to change things for the better but take no initiative to do so. While you'd never confuse one for the other, both characters are willful wallflowers who watch the plot happen to them rather than directly affecting it. If you like time travel and telegraphed plot twists you can see from a mile out, you will find a lot to like in both shows.

Animes that highly incorporates the idea of time traveling concept to deliver its climax. I think that both are very entertaining and fun to watch. Are balanced when it comes to their comedic and dramatic value. Highly recommend.

Action-packed shounen check. Baki and Tokyo Revengers really are cut from the same cloth, very unappealing art styles, grand brawls, mature characters and they really pan out the same way too! The only thing is that tokyo revengers is more plot driven while baki is more character and action driven.

You get an introspection into Japanese gangs through these 2 anime although in Tokyo Revengers the protagonist enters the gang and grows in rank while in Tribe the MC is already in I think that if you liked one and wanted more then check out the other for more gang stuff, Tokyo Revengers is more of a slow-burner and Tribe is wackier as it goes on.
report Recommended by ReSeinen
If you like not overly complicated shounen with a bit of a flimsy plot but full of fights and overpowered characters then you'd love this anime. Entertainment at it's finest if you also like some nonsense and flaws

As different as they are, a lot of Tokyo Revengers reminded me of Vinland saga and I genuinely believe if you liked one, you will also enjoy the other. The two shows are action packed, drama heavy, pain(emotional/physical), fighting/violence, and blood(Vinland saga in seinen and TR is shounen). Both deal with heavy themes of rivalry and a boy trying to fix things. Thorfinn wants revenge for his father and Takemichi wants to prevent the deaths of his friends. The characters are OP and half the time, you're so engulfed in the fights, you forget why they are fighting. In a good way. Both constantly remind  read more

Well like they are funny and make u laugh and at the same time they are intenese.I like animes that are funny and intense at the same time(like demon slayer).
report Recommended by SN00P_D0GG
Both Deku [MC of BHA] and Takemitchy [MC of TR] are constantly crying and sometimes gets their moments but it's not very often. They are both trying to be heroes.
report Recommended by Langen273
In both anime, the main character's goal is to become the boss, and the main character is also new to the gang.
report Recommended by Floodlight
Both are similar as because both give us a thrill while watching and both contain lots of sction
report Recommended by VELVET_BLUES
Both shows involve time travel, with main characters trying to fix things in the past. I find Sakurada Reset more boring and extremely slow to get into. Even its later part, which is considered the most interesting, leaves some unwanted plot holes. Meanwhile, Tokyo Revengers is stupid and entertaining at the same time. Unlike Sakurada Reset, it does not try to be complicated and fails to do so. My advice for those who plan to watch these shows: Turn your brain off.

Stunning animation, complex/long spanning timeline, wonderful and a wide cast of characters. These anime may seem different on the surface but they're both tear-jerking, beautiful, multi-season stories following a heart-broken main character trying to avenge their loved ones.

Both anime are very plot driven but still showcase great character developement and analisys They also both incorporate supernatural elements with solving intriguing mysteries
report Recommended by DigiCat
Both anime revolve around using time travel to prevent people’s untimely deaths. Both anime show how small changes you make in the past can drastically change the future, and how some things just don’t seem to change at all, no matter how many times you try. The difference between them is that YU-NO uses dimension hopping rather than actual time travel, while Tokyo Revengers seemingly uses actual time travel. This is a minor similarity, but both anime have Yuu Hayashi voicing a main character.
report Recommended by NickSuede
Starting from the protagonist's names Hanamichi and Takemichi are pretty similar. Both are delinquents and almost have the same hairstyle. They both have their own small gangs. The timeline was also quite similar with them being delinquents when they were at school.

let's see gangs check, violence oh yes, with two polar opposite mc's check. the differennces are mc in tokyo revengers is a lost cause with no hope at a lame job and time travel which is used as a tool, gangs whole lot of them ,in gangsta gangs ofcourse, nicolas is somewhat of a wild guy with i forgot his name smoking one as other mc with no aim somewhat like takemitchi although he's getting beaten often mikey is the leader of the gang the other mc. ignore the time travel  read more

Both series take place in a world of constant violence, and the protagonist undergoes a great deal of suffering.
report Recommended by Shyra_
The protagonists are very different, but the gangster/bosozoku theme is the same. Beelzebub has proper badass mc and bit of supernatural powers leaking into normal world. On top of that, it also has comedy and doesn't take things too seriously. If you want to see crybaby grow and become strong then this is not for you. However, if you want to see badass fights among school gangs,.. Then beelzebub hits the spot.
report Recommended by AI_is_the_future
both are based in school, has delinquents, MC develops deep bonds as time passes with people inloved.
report Recommended by misthistoric
I guess this is very subjective but the "vibes" of these two animes resonates to each other. The story are really different, Tokyo Revengers driven by time travel in a modern world and infiltration in Tokyo gangs and dangerous people in order to avoid the protagonist love interest to be killed, and Jigokuraku regarding a Ninja dude that was discharged from his duties because couldn't stand to kill anymore due his wife influence hence making him useless for his retainer and, now, he meets a strong executioner that allergies him safety if he works for the shogun in order to explore an everafter world  read more

The two main characters between Takechimi and Arajin are so annoyed, tired, saddest, crybaby, conquered by the hero, never give up, and but also protect their friends when they are hurt.

- Mcs are involved with gang activity and other gangs. (Toramaru in Drr & Toman in TR) - Both anime focuses on crime and criminal activities. (Hollywood killer in Drr & Death of Hinata in TR.)
report Recommended by caprisan
okay so hear me out, these two shows at first might seem completely unrelated but trust me, both shows give off a similar vibe -both shows have a focus on kids making their own "gangs" (in ibo it's more of a government organization/ideology) to achieve a goal -both shows definitely have a similar if not the same impact on the viewer (like it will elicit similar emotions) -similar relationship between the two mains, mikazuki=mikey, orga=draken

both are fun to watch, has fights lots of them with simple and effective plotlines.

not that alike apart from improving himself with helping others gets caught up with delinquents in both the anime. you'll enjoy both anime although i recommend reading manga for angel densetsu they only adapted some of manga.

Similarities: Kokkuku - 1. Stops time for everyone except a select few. 2.two groups of people (one family the other you could say is type of a gang in a way, more a religious group, but they still use gang-like violence to get what they want.) 3.Stops time to save people. Tokyo Revengers - 1.Travels back and forth in time. 2. Gangs and violence 3. Uses the time-traveling to save people. They differ in many ways, but I think both have some subtle comedy in them that make them enjoyable to watch. Tokyo Revengers does have more action than Kokkoku, but in either show you get to see some fighting and blood  read more

Dedication to the cause, dedication to the crew. Each MC is willing to take a beating and dish one out when they need to. They will go to the wall and back for their friends, their girl friend, or for the sake of a fight. Daniel and Takemichi are, the strongest.
report Recommended by Dreddful
If Japan is good at one thing. It's taking kids and getting them to do all kinds of unrealistic stuff. I mean, if Akira and TR with their gangs and violence don't prove this, then I don't know what will. Watch them for that reason and see just how far middle schoolers can go with time travel shenanigans and cyberpunk madness.

stray dogs has the gang element too with kinda weak..........has great plot on both imo.
report Recommended by misthistoric
yea how did i forget BSD this has similar plot with gangs both take time to be thrilling/ fun with some heavy aspects in the story. Absolutely worth the time.
report Recommended by misthistoric
delinquent anime involving gangs with lots of fights with two MC's although revengers involves time leap it's a tool for other arcs it's as good as a delinquent anime and bebop has that old 80-90's vibe it's stays true to delinquents if you enjoy delinquent anime try these two.
report Recommended by misthistoric
Both feature a main character who (at least initially) lacks strength but makes up for it with resolve Both main characters are in essence very out of place in their respective new situations Both have a maifa-like/delinquent theme Both have a strong comedic component to them while also managing to be serious Both are shonen in core

Tokyo 24-ku is similar to tokyo revengers in some things -In Tokyo Revengers we have Takemichi that go back to have the future he wants, in this case (Tokyo 24-ku) the 3 main characters can see the future and they have time to change the future. both anime have thriller/action/mystery/drama and good characters with very different personalities from each other (im writing this when Tokyo 24-ku first episode came out)
