Hey, Renji here! I'm a former NEET who's watched an ungodly amount of anine and manga in their spare time, and wish they had that much time now, haha xD (60 hour work weeks ftw). Feel free to check out my reviews and ratings, or even friend me! ;)
As the title states, I used to be a hardcore NEET, sitting my lame ass inside all day, watching an ungodly, metric ton of anime, reading just the same, if not, more pages of manga, and dedicated a lot of my life to it.
Now? I work 60+ hour work weeks and I'm taking way better care of myself, and I'm very happy for it!
While I don't have as much time now to watch or read my favorite shows and series, I still find time to catch up to seasonals and shows I've been wanting to get into!
Feel free to browse my reviews and ratings, or even hit me up with a friend request!
Cheers!
Favorite Anime of All Time
Gintama is a series that holds a lot of meaning for me, my life, and was actually one of the reasons why I broke out of my unfortunate hell hole.
Let me explain:
Some years ago, as I keep parading around seemingly, I did not leave the house, I did not go anywhere unless It had to do with my job that was near my house at the time, and never socialized with anyone except within the confines of my own home and on the internet.
After some time, I learned about Gintama, and gave it a watch, and let me tell you....I'm very, very glad I did, as it's not only one of the best series I've had the pleasure of watching, It's the reason why I'm the way I am, and where I am, today.
A lot of the messages in the show, the exploration, and the cascade of amazing characters, and not to mention the great humor, and gritty, dark scenes that appeared at times, all helped me to rethink what I was actually doing, and Inspired me to want to do more, just like the characters in the show. Thank you, Gintama.
Favorite Game Series
This was a tough decision, as the Kiseki series is one of my absolute favorites, but over the years, I've grown very fond of this series. And that's YS. It has a very interesting, and vast amount of characters, the story is always engaging, and it makes you actually want to care about the people in each game. I've played every single title in the series, and I can't wait until YS X gets localized! If you want to learn more about this heavily underappreciated and beloved jrpg series, click on the image to learn more about the play order, the 30 year history of the games, and more!
But I won't just mention YS here, as I stated there is one more series I'm just as fond of, and think well deserves a shoutout: The Kiseki Series.
Starting from the Trails in The Sky series, to Trails from Zero, Trails of Cold Steel, and now Kuro, there's a vast amount of the game's history and titles to delve into, and I highly recommend it!
I'll link the play order on the image.
