Both are slice of life workplace comedies about the food service industry. They both feature a cast of zany characters that fuel the comedy with their banter and clashing personalities. They're even both animated by A-1 Pictures.

Both about cute girls working in a cafe

Blend S is like the comedy version of Inu Boku SS. You'll notice that the author was inspired by Cocoa Fujiwara's work. First the "S" in the titles. Then you'll notice lots of similarities, even though the plot is different, the character's design is almost identical. You'll also find some characters with the very same personality: - Maika is a loner like Ririchiyo. She is constantly attacked by a blue eyed blonde character (Dino/Nobara) with a persona that finds the heroine extremely moe and nosebleeds etc. - Kaho (BlendS) is a cute blonde with a tsundere persona, like Watanuki in Inuboku SS. - Akizuki is the "deliquent" type  read more

Both have a colorful cast. The stories lean more towards casual viewing, so they're nice and calming shows to watch.

Both series are hilarious!! They are about a group of people (real eccentric ones in Host Club) who must serve customers while playing a role that might be different from their real personality. They focus on comedy. Slight romance in both

Slice of life shows with a main cast of characters that work in the same cafe. Each character has their own unique gimmick, and we watch their day-to-day scenarios as their interact in funny or cute ways.

Both are slice of life anime about a young, impressionable girl at a new job. Both shows have similar comedy, art style, tone, and adorableness.

Both of them share a Maid Café as the main theme, both are funny and you'll also find romance in both (although there's way more of that in "Maid-sama")

-moe -with some cute boys this time *wink wink* -everything is cute af -funny -about friendship -Shinobu and Maika are both obsessed with Europe <mostly> and blonde hair

even having completely differents themes, your style and narrative is similar, with aspects very communs in "moe animes".

Ditzy girl and clueless girl plus player guy and a light-hearted story following them and their friends.

Has good characters and the plot focuses mainly on only one place.

To sum it up Koi wa Ameagari is a like Blend S in reverse , the differences was Blend S was more on the comedic side while Koi wa Ameagari is more of a melancholic vibe with a cute and charming touch.

-Both have a girl working a part-time job in a cafe while trying to deal with their co-workers and their real-life problems. -Both girls have some quirks that they need to deal with on daily basis especially at work. -Both of them have coworkers who have special quirks that make them interesting and also, their interactions with the main character.

Both are hilarious comedies with well written characters. They have different plots and settings but both are relaxing to watch.

Both series come from the same manga magazine and the same slice of life genre. And comedy in 2 series is well presented

The main female characters of both animes have an involuntary negative aura in their outside appearance, but in the inside, they're very sweet and adorable. and also they want to make friends without scaring people, Maika Sakuranomiya from Blend S makes involuntary sadistic faces scaring people, and that's why she's hired to be a maid with the personality of a sadistic maid. Sawako Kuronuma from Kimi ni Todoke was nicknamed Sadako due to the similarities to a ghost, and she makes involuntary weird faces that scare people around her. Blend S and Kimi ni Todoke has comedy and slice of life situations, but while the former  read more

Both are about the staffs of a restaurant/cafe Both are hilarious Both have fulfilling romances (Working moreso than Blend S) Both are feel good :)

Blend-S is a slice of life comedy and BJNOM is a fantasy comedy, but both have similarities: - a very cute artwork with a romance subplot. - main girl is supposed to be "evil" but she is actually the sweetest of girls. - main boy has a big crush on main girl and wants to watch over her at all times. - Over the top tropes and fanservice & ridiculous setting. If you enjoyed one you'll probably enjoy the other.

The protagonists are trying to be better for herself in the place where she should like and both are innocent junior high school girl but the most importantly the series are really entertaining and will make you rolling on the floor laughing XD

They're both CGDCT + romance animes centered around working in a cafe where the cafe has some theme and the girls have to play some sort of role.
report Recommended by VenomEmperor
Both have a group of girls and comedy happens. Just another anime to binge if you have the time, if not then you can still enjoy the show at a slower pace cause cmon. It's a romcom anyway. Has lots of meme potential, like how have I never seen a single meme from this show. Its hella funny.

Otaku. The realism of being an otaku in anime is sometimes misrepresented. Blend S and Wotakoi feel very real in presenting such a case, however, not being too slapstick about it or just poking into it. Both anime are based around time at work, Blend S being a maid cafe, Wotakoi being an office job. Character relations are similar here to or just very real feeling. Both are good comedy anime brought to you by the same studio A-1 Pictures. Blend S focusing more on comedy than the sometimes more realistic and romantic Wotakoi.

Wishing to be independent, 16-year-old Maika Sakuranomiya is desperate to nail down a part-time job so that she can afford to study abroad. She chances upon Café Stile, a coffee shop where the servers interact with the customers while roleplaying distinctive characteristics. The Italian store manager, Dino, becomes infatuated with Maika's cuteness at first sight, and offers her a job as a waitress with a sadistic nature. MC: Young school girl (16 years old) Love interest: Dino, 26 years old man "Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui" and "Blend S" are similar that both of them shows us relationship between school girl and grown‐up man.

Both animes have a MC that shares the same curse and that curse is scary eyes

really funny slice of life that follows members of a group being silly and doing their work together and it involves sweets!

Both series are mainly in a cafe, and one of the main characters is a foreigner, they are hardly similar but if you liked one then you might like the other, they are both not a harem, just a cute love story of most of the main cast.

Restaurant based anime can sound boring, what's so interesting about working in a restaurant? Well, in these two anime, there's no way you could wonder about it. They are basically comedy anime, with interesting and unique characters, who share Italian culture, as in one the male lead is italian, and the other is about an italian restaurant. But there are important differences between the two: Piacevole is a 4 min anime, so less developed, while Blend S, being longer, focuses more on the relationships between characters. That being said, I think that if you liked one, you are going to enjoy the other as well.

It's a moe comedy that if you enjoyed Blend-S you sure will enjoy this either!

Comfort. Although Helpful Fox and Blend S have a ton of qualities that differ from one another, they both centre around this wholesome comfort zone for some other individual(s). Whether it be a dedicated relationship or one that allows anyone to come and go yet still be treated the same, at the end of the day, both anime have this nice caring comfort of an atmosphere to show off. Senko-san does this with a magical fox deity, who endlessly pampers. Blend S does this with a fun maid cafe suitable to most tastes. Both are fun s.o.l that I would take if you have nothing better to  read more

Maids. That's all, but they are fun maids, in fact, so fun, that there is an entire life in which you can see them do stuff, ranging from outdoor activities to random outside competition and what have you. I'd recommend both as something if you want an easy relaxing anime with a little bit of maid business on the side.

One of my favorite comedy shows I'm sure you'll like this too, enjoy!

They are both romance and comedy. Both are one of those trying to get the other person to admit their feeling first type of anime.

Both have -Maid cafe -Maid cafe with different personality -sadistic maid the main character -Manager involved with illegal activity Other than keywords these shows are similar since both take ordinary situations are portray them in a very intense way like most other shounen would. I believe Komi to be the better since character relations are first to comedy where Blend is the vice-versa.

For some reason watching anime deaimon... it reminds me of anime blend s. Basically, this anime is fun and the plot is light, so it's perfect for those who don't really like heavy plots. And also the genre is not boring or the storyline, really enjoy it anyway :)))

-Coffee shops with the appeal of being insulted in a sadistic manner -Fanservice dump character -Moe but in Blend-S it's good -Very old short people

You can already tell that this anime and Blend S already give the similarities. The Cafe setting, usual misunderstandings, usual male protagonist, another bonus is when Azumi Waki (Shiragiku in Megami Cafe Terrace and Maika in Blend S) comes in and play the role of a cafe maid once again……. The only difference is that here, (Hayato) he’s encountering 5 female maids and almost going into harem mode and he doesn’t like the cafe and isn’t a pervy guy but the misunderstandings can lead to assuming him to be a pervert. In Blend S two guys get their own love on just one person so not really  read more

Two comedies that depict a group of otaku's daily lives. Both casts of characters include a doujinshi writer, an unsociable small girl and a boy that dresses like a girl. Their eccentric personalities are the best parts of the stories.

thay don't matching in the story..., but the similar they are both comedy and have alot of reactions and Ecchi moments so you can't hold the laugh out, so if you are depressed, watch it.

Otaku. The differences are clear. But Blend S and WataMote both understand the somewhat accurate life that an otaku may have, and the culture to go with it. WataMote does this with loser loner Tomoko Kuroki, who basically understands the social order of school and goes as far as making anime conventions superimposed onto it. Blend S does this with everyone's dream of going to a maid cafe, with characters who work there themselves being an otaku of some kind. Both anime are good comedies that know a thing or two about how the otaku life is to which you may or may not relate.
report Recommended by NextUniverse
There is this same fluffy romance and comedy theme even if Acchi Kocci might be a little more comedy centred. Also, the setting is school rather than a cafe. They have a similar based on character comedy. Overused gags could remind something like Nichijou?

Cute, funny and awkward interactions between the characters.
report Recommended by LilPrinceein
Wildly different anime with similar comedic premises: our mild-mannered main characters want to be normie conformists and treat everyone with respect, but instead end up in jobs where they are required to insult and degrade people. In recurring gags they are horrified by their own proclivity for that role, as they unintentionally take it farther than intended, and find themselves accidentally going into "work mode" at inappropriate times.

Isekai Shokudou is more Fantasy than Blend S and focusses more on being a maid, and food itself. It has the same gripping humor but has a less fanservice tone all over.
report Recommended by boku_no_pervert
Working at a part-time restaurant job that you genuinely enjoy, with a nice working environment and coworkers. Both have plenty of romance and stuff about Italy Blend S is more cutesy and less serious though, with less elements of harem
report Recommended by pinenarrow
There is this same fluffy romance and comedy theme even if Momokuri might be a little more romance centred. Also, the setting is middle school rather than a cafe. The gags also came from the odd interaction dynamics between characters as opposed to simple discovery of the characters.

Both series have really a cute art style, and revolve around otaku culture. The comedy is similar, with Denki-gai no Honya-san being a little bit more mature at times. In both series, there's budding romance between characters. All characters have their own charisma, and they all generally put out positive energy that makes the show light-hearted and fun to watch.

-The MC get trouble with scary eye (check) -Slice of life ( check) -Every day trouble (check) These two show is focusing on the MC get trouble because their eyes. The only different between these show is, Boukuwa tomodachi more focusing on making friend during school life and its was Male lead so you can say 'Bokuwa Tomodachi' is a harem anime Blend S, Anime where the young girl had trouble with people arround her because her scary eye. Basiclly Its same theme, about the different just worth it

Quiet and fun animes with lots of doses of moe characters, kawaii moments and adorable situations. Do not get confused! They are both very good if you like this genre.

Both anime have eccentric characters, although people may not agree with me about that concerning New Game!!. Both casts get along surprisingly well despite their obvious personality differences and conflicts. The comedy tends to be a bit over the top. Both opening theme songs are amazing fun songs that introduce the viewer to the type of environment the shows offers. Both shows are in the slice of life and comedy genres. Every episode builds up the overall simple story, in both shows, but they seem episodic to an extent as well, so accidentally watching one episode out of order (not  read more

Both anime became popular due to a portion of their opening themes becoming memes. Blend S has "S Stands For", and Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan has "Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan". Both anime are comedies featuring cute anime girls and mild parody, with Blend S being a workplace comedy and Nokotan being a gag school comedy.

Crossdresser. There isn't much to give but if you are looking for two anime with a crossdresser look no further. Other similarities include respectively good comedy in their worlds. You could even look at the two poking fun at their main theme, crossdressing and maid cafes. I find myself enjoying what is to be seen with the two, even if questionable content exists within the two.
