...This is MyAnimeList. You can list and rate the anime you've watched, keep track of things that looked interesting and you plan to watch later, read reviews to help decide whether an anime is worth your time, have fun on the forum... Lots of things, really. Lots of perfectly fun and interesting things. So many fun and interesting things I kind of wonder why you'd instead choose to check out my profile, instead of just about any other feature MyAnimeList offers.

You know, I used to have a kind of cool profile. It was this big image of Hibiki, from KanColle, with the kind of text you'd imagine would be on a profile page. It even had functional buttons to go to my anime or manga lists, or add me as a friend or something, built in the image. It was quite a hassle cutting up that profile in so many boxes so I could turn the button-parts of the images into links and pasting all those boxes in the right order, but I think it wasn't even half bad of a profile.
Anyway, at some point I realised I'd written down the username I use for all my other accounts in the image, instead of my MyAnimeList username. Nothing I couldn't have fixed in an hour, probably. But I'd decided I wanted to make a bigger, better profile with more buttons to replace my old one instead. In the meantime, I'd written a short note I was working on a nicer, new profile...
...Which stayed as my profile for three or four years, I think? Yeah, I don't think it's gonna happen anymore, either. I considered checking my old profile again and just fixing the mistake, but I don't remember the login for the website I uploaded the cut boxes to, and I seem to have deleted them from my own computer, so that's not very likely anymore either.

Why, was that not an interesting story? Well, I told you there are better ways to spend your time on this website. Best I can do is tell you to watch some of the favourite anime I've listed, but you might not like them if we don't have similar tastes and I can't tell if we do. Have fun now.
