While Ichigo Mashimaro was able to maintain its innocent humor across many releases, Minami-ke's first season was the only successful attempt at a funny slice-of-life anime of that particular franchise. They share the same humorous elements and can provide you with many minutes of laughter. I recommend you quit watching Minami-ke after the first season to avoid disappointment.

It's also a slice-of-life anime, and, of course, features cute lolis.

If you liked funny shenanigans the girls of Ichigo Mashimaro engage in, you'll probably like Mitsuboshi Colors too. Even the art style is similar!

4 cute girls in Ichigo Mashimaro and 4 cute girls in k-on. Their personalities are really similar too and both animes are really funny.
report Recommended by tikuku
Each anime has young cute girls, doing cute things. They both have a foreigner from England, and the other characters are interested by her foreign-ness. Kiniro Masaic has more of a schooling setting than Ichigo Mashimaro.
report Recommended by CoffeeBean
Both are funny in the same way that hanging out with your best friends and talking and laughing about nothing in particular is funny.

Manabi Stright is another version of Ichimashi.. I mean, little girls and their lives..

loli, similar animation. perverted stuff, funny.. this summed it all up i think. Generally really similar feel to these animes.
report Recommended by ThePuisiitis
They're both about a group of loli friends and they have an older sister character who hangs out with the younger girls because she has nothing better to do.

Slice of life, Comedies. Kyouko reminds me Miu; Yui reminds me Chika. Their personalities are the same and is a very good combi!
report Recommended by Kyyo
Very similar anime, where little girls go through their everyday life in school and at home. Very nice, both of them.

A group of young girls with different personalities living their lives in humorous ways.

Cute & Fun. Light slice of life that is easy to watch.
report Recommended by ashton
Both of them have a lot of cute little main characters ^^
report Recommended by ella007
Both series give off similiar vibe, have same type of humour and similiar setting.

Aiura appears to be an highschool version of Ichigo Mashimaro. The feel is pretty the same, and Kanaka of Aiura is very reminiscent to Miu of Ichigo Mashimaro. Everything and nothing happens in both the shows with these cute/funny girls.

Random³ - Schoolgirls - Comedy

Both have school girls hanging around doing random things each episode. Both have that one fake dodgy english speaking foreigner. Both are funny and silly.

Its funny and Slice of life and torako can relate to miu.

both anime have a very similar feel to them, if you liked one there's a very good chance that you'll like the other.
report Recommended by jacobpaige
Both feature main characters who are extremely kind-hearted and naive, with only the best intentions for everyone. Also they are both comedies and cute, though Fruits Basket gets a lot more serious and but idk if its Cuter than Then ichigo mashimaro

Chito and Yuuri from Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou reminds me Chika and Miu from Ichigo Mashimaro.

slice of life, cute characters, silly conversations and funny scenes
report Recommended by Rei-chii
Both feature little girls who do random stuff all the time, but that's what make both of them so cute and entertaining.
report Recommended by FOkroncw
Both are about "cute girls doing cute things in cute ways". While the girls are older in Ichigo Mashmaro, and there's less fanservice in Uchi no 3 Shimai, besides that, they're the same. Both are random, funny, and cute. They are great for everyone to watch!
report Recommended by TheAwesomeHannah
Both shows where an older/adult character has to take care of a group of young kids.
report Recommended by Cozye
Both animes is excellent slice of life without any fan-service which is received 10/10 from me.(which is rare occasion)
report Recommended by junkon
Ichigo Mashimaro and Yurumates share the easy going slice of life feel along with bits of random thrown in. The jokes are frequent and both casts have similar personality traits/quirks that make the show all the more enjoyable.
report Recommended by Monjoex
They're both slice of life series with similar humor of an older woman who loves cute little girls and takes it too far. Some of the character archetypes are even similar. They both have a blonde girl who's not Japanese and is outspoken, a shy and timid girl in glasses and a pigtailed girl who's very energetic and constantly tries to 1-up everyone.

Both anime are focused around a charming group of girls. You could call it "cute girls doing cute things", but honestly, as cheesy as it sounds, it's so much more than that. These anime can be used for therapeutic purposes I swear. The thing about both of these anime that made me really fall in love with them are those occasional subtle moments of beauty and serenity a midst all the comedic chaos that makes me appreciate the smaller things in life. Both of these shows are relaxing in nature and can really make your day.

A more cheerful version of the former, as it deals with more lolis and with a (sometimes) serious slice of life approach to anime.
report Recommended by albertbrown
Cute light slice of life with school girls. A group of girls spending their every day life together, containing one that is always up to no good and always in a silly mood; add a sensible character to that group and you get a funny Anime show^^ They both have that same random humor. So if you liked one you most likely will like the other one.
report Recommended by Gwendolly
Both shows have the same theme, five cute girls doing cute things in cute ways. Their main difference is their age, Joshiraku has five high school girls, and Ichigo Mashimaro has four elementary school girls and one college student. but they have the same cute atmosphere.
report Recommended by IntroverTurtle
give these two series a crossover regardless of animation and with no canonicity to the series' respective storylines, and surely, kaolla and shinobu may both get along well to the four characters while nobue may have a mature relationship with motoko, kitsunne and naru

best friends randomness laughing need more

Story about girl friends. Same kind humor.
report Recommended by NARKOZ
Both are random, and made out of crazy girls! Very funny combination.

ichigo mashimaro: 4 little girls. kodomo no jikan: 3 little girls. ichigo mashimaro: 5th and 6th grade. kodomo no jikan: 3rd grade. it's loli time!
report Recommended by Mef
Both revolve around the lives of elementary school children. Ichigo is a much slower paced anime, but the art is better than Kodocha. Regardless, both are absolutely adorable.
report Recommended by June
Cute girls + Random English phrases = Win! Ichigo has none of the fanservice that Moetan is infamous for, instead opting for a more 'slice-of-life' comedic approach.
report Recommended by url_elf
Both anime are funny and with no plot.
report Recommended by shinki7
Strawberry marshmallow is similar in the way its caring and make you feel happy and satisfied. Not so much romance but the art is good.its fun so enjoy it :)
report Recommended by kj59
Cute, sitcom antics, character-driven humor, and similar character design. It's also a slice-of-life comedy series, and contrary to notoriety, is not pedobear fanservice.
report Recommended by tanktnt
•The characters are similar in personality •Just from watching the first few minutes You already get the same feeling. •Same lighthearted characters and theme.
report Recommended by Nikoru-san
If you liked the characters you'll find almost the same ones in this anime. They have similar randomness . Oh and yeah.....Cool Lolies....xD
report Recommended by Kodomo_R
Both have a company of friends, doing random fun stuff.Oh and both have a hyperactive Female character.
report Recommended by Kodomo_R
The comedy in both animes are similar and both revolve around elementary aged children. The comedy is more slap-stick and obvious in Alice than it is in Ichigo, but I'm sure if you liked one then you will like the other.
report Recommended by June
Both are very cute, although of different genres, they both give off the light hearted and adorable vibes.
report Recommended by neverLamp
Similar design among characters both are very cute and moe. Both shows are slice of life genre as well.
