Could be, but I like the story of Shakugan no Shana more. The characters are of the same calibur right now, but that may change later on.

I just finished watching the first season of Zero no Tsukaima and I can see what you meant. The similarities between Zero no Tsukaima and Shakugan no Shana are strong, even the main heroine sound slightly familiar. But also the pacing problem does persist, but it progresses a little better than Shakugan no Shana in my honest opinion.

Those are some really good points, and I never noticed that Shana was flat chested, probably because I never paid attention to it o.0, now that you mention it, it was a comment made on it in the show. But in any case i'm sold so i'm watching it soon lol. Thanks for the recommendation by the way.

If you start watching Barakamon, let me know what dialects are being spoken. I can't seem to pin point what it is, but really like it.

Hmmm, I still believe that I will like it because I enjoyed the first two seasons of Shakugan no Shana a lot, so hopefully ZnT wont be an exception. And could you outline some of those similarities? I don't mind small spoilers if its necessary to do so.

True, those are traits that would make for an interesting harem, but i'd prefer it if the guy had an actual significance in the female's life. Such as if he has helped in some childhood trauma or something like that. But thats just me. And but of course, as the man you have to take charge when it matters! The harem goes nowhere without your initiative! lol. But humility is an important trait, if not the most important in my book, that is in good reason.

I'd imagine, their dynamics and genre are probably too far in difference to make a good comparison without it being farfetched. And if thats the case the i'll take the enticement! But the only problem I had with Shakugan no Shana was the random and off the wall pacing other than that the lore and anime itself was pretty good I haven't heard anyone diss it much and I myself enjoyed it. But does Zero no Tsukaima have the same problem?
