While Ichigo Mashimaro was able to maintain its innocent humor across many releases, Minami-ke's first season was the only successful attempt at a funny slice-of-life anime of that particular franchise. They share the same humorous elements and can provide you with many minutes of laughter. I recommend you quit watching Minami-ke after the first season to avoid disappointment.
The two shows have a similar brand of humor that searches out the absurdity and silliness of every day life. There's just something about the timing and style of each that reminds you of the other in a good way. I was laughing out loud during both of these shows and would definitely recommend you watch the other if you liked one! XD
Both "slice of life" with some similar characters (i.e: Miu = Kana), same comedy style and both very funny!
Enjoyed the style of the humour from Ichigo Mashimaro and can't find something similar? Minami-ke is a series that works in a similar way, both of them are simply the daily lifes of a small group of people, in this case the Minami sisters. The presentation of humour is rather similar to that of Ichigo Mashimaro, nothing over the top, but enough to get a chuckle out of certain scenes. The Minami sisters are also quite similar to those found in Ichigo Mashimaro; Chiaki is very similar to Chika, though she's the youngest of the sisters. Slice of life comedy series based around a group of still in school girls. (They lie about Nobue in the anime version she IS 16)... Just less loli in Minami-ke.

Two very funny "slice of life" comedies about cute girls doing cute things.
One reason is random storyline but the main reason is between our main characters of miu-chan and kana. Total idiots, ruining peoples life throwing tantrum, can there be more a like characters?
A comedic look at the everyday lives of a group of girls, delivered with excellent comic timing.

same concept, but with 4 elementary school girls and a older sister in college in ichigo mashimaro and 3 sisters and their friends in Minami-ke
Both are great comedy shows with funny and interesting character and have a similar type of humour.
Also Kana's antics kind of reminded me of Mio.
Similar humor and characters, Kana and Miu both playing the role of the annoying funny girl that plays pranks all the time, never acting seriously.
Both equally funny in terms of overall;
Characters - equally cute and funny;
And is also slice-of-life. (:

-both have cute girls doing cute things... while being very FUNNY! (These are often funnier then typical moe shows)
-similar kind of humour (finding humour in every day life)
-similar characters (If you liked Kana, you'll probably like Miu)
-same idea of younger girl characters with an older sister type character looking after them
Over all, I've seen so many other moe shows, and these two are the most similar to one another. They are both great in their own ways. They are cute AND funny. <3
