Each anime has young cute girls, doing cute things. They both have a foreigner from England, and the other characters are interested by her foreign-ness. Kiniro Masaic has more of a schooling setting than Ichigo Mashimaro.

Cute girls living daily lives. Both of these series has a blonde-haired girl from England, and the other characters are interested by her foreign-ness.
Both have:
-cute girls doing cute things (Moe!)
-a blonde foreign girl from England (Alice and Ana)
-a girl who loves blonde hair, and obsesses over the other character (Shino and Nobue)
-foreign girl is very good at Japanese (Alice and Ana)
-both occasionally wear cute lolita outfits *o*
There is also the cute common theme of jealousy between friends, which is very common with girls. But it is always done in a more cute way then serious. ^^
Basically, they are very similar. Ichigo Mashimaro came out first, and while watching Kiniro Mosaic I kept thinking back to Ichigo Mashimaro.

Both are slice-of-life animes with pretty much no plot. They are both centered around cute girls doing cute things.
