Both anime are quite similar to each other, in that they both deal with the everyday lives of a group of girls. Niether series has any large plot to follow, with each episode having a stand alone theme.
They're also both very funny in the way that they show the situations that the girls get into-such as going to the beach,what they do over school holidays, or thier school life.
Finally, each series has some random comedic moments thrown in which makes them both very likable.

Both Animes unite all these things.
The sense of humor is quite not everyones taste, but ifya like the style and you dont mind not havin a real plot these Animes are for you.
When I think of Lucky Star, I see ichigo mashimaro. Great humour, great characters, great songs.

Both shows are based off of 4-koma featuring cute schoolgirls doing cute things.
Lucky Star features a highschool cast and focuses more on various thoughts or experiences that come to mind but still features plenty of comedy.
Ichigo Mashimaro features a gradeschooler cast that likes to orbit around a 20-year old college student and is a more straight forward comedy overall.
