Same kind of harem comedy with a lot of ecchi and fanservice in it but absolutely nothing that can be considered story that took more then 5 minute to think of. Both also havea pink haired female lead character. So if you can enjoy one of them you'll probably also like the other. 

They are both heavily ecchi oriented and with a bit of comedy added in. Both of the series focused more on the fanservice than on the story, which made the story very thin. They also have a pink haired female lead character. 

They both have people fighting over the same person.Well in these cases, they have a group of high school girls fighting over one boy. They are both very funny, good story lines, and have really good endings. They dont just suddenly end like some others do. :> 

Moka-san's legendary vampire transformations and Lala's costume "dressforms" are similar, they both have pink hair and their personalities match.  

You like stories that started from a "fated encounter" one day? Then look no further than this two harem, comedy, romance, and school setting centered series. The male protagonist of both series has this kind of encounter that changed their life forever. The main difference though is the scenario, one is that of a supernatural encounter and the other is an extraterrestrial-life encounter.  

Both have weak male leads but they both have a harem full of supernatural girls who fell in love with the protagonist as the story goes on. 

Most of the girls in both these anime are not human and are from another area. The male protagonist are human and find themselves in a situation they are unable to get out of. The girls he meet are totally kawaii and it seems the male protagonist reached far within their heart in order for them fall in LOVE HIM WITH ALL THEIR MIGHT. The difference is the location they take place in.

To love-Ru (one of my top 3) is a story about a kid named Rito Yuuki who is desperately in love with haruna sairenji, later on in the first episode (spoiler) a girl named Lala from the planet deviluke teleports into his bath unexpectedly. now the similarities in these two shows comes down to a very fine line. both of the shows take place in highschool and in both shows the people (other then the main character) are aliens/monsters. both of these shows revolve around a shy, inept main character that doesn't know how to make up his mind to even save his life. i highly recommend watching To Love-Ru if you haven't already.  read more 

Both have Harlems and good plots echie which is allways is a plus thay have there funny moments and all around good even if u never heard of thes titles please give them a try u just might like them  

The main male character in these series got off in a weird start when he met a girl with some strange characteristics. Similar wise, the female character has a characteristics of a pink hair, innocent, and somewhat lovable personality and a school filled with comedy moments. The male character, at first felt confused and frightened, but soon will get used later on. Expect some romance, and some supernatural elements on the story. 

The lead, Tsukune and Rito that is, are both shy and kind. Both animes are harem, and they both have the female lead, lala and moka that is, to be a sweet, emotional and optimistic girl with long pink hair and green eyes. Their both kind of the fantasy, romance, comedy, school, shounen and of course ecchi genre. I think they both have a good story line/plot, but not the best.. at least they're not predictable. ^^ I love both of these animes especially: "rosario + vampire" but that's just my opinion. i hope you can use this for anything, sincerely Mikkel M.C.F. ^^

Both series have an a cute girl who happens to be an alien from outerspace. Both the main female leads are cheerful, happy, funny, and always makes the situation more exciting. They both also try to develop their relationship with the male lead and wants him to like her. The male lead of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san thinks of the female heroine to be annoying and avoids her advances but soon starts to develop romantic feelings for her later in the series. The show has a lot of comedy, parody, and development of romance. If you like cute alien girls then this show is meant to be for you. But she doesn't give up and tries her hardest to win his love. Full of comedy, more beautiful alien girls and embarrassing moments. To Love Ru has more episodes (26), and fan service compared to Haiyore Nyaruko-san. 

Love, Love and Comedy, this is what you should expect from this. Both of them have a beautiful girl from space with advanced technologies and a clumsy, idiot(when it comes to love), weakling protagonist. But Haiyore Nyaruko-san is much more funnier than To love Ru because of it's Parody genre. I'm sure you'll have fun, enjoy and fall in love too in these anime.

You've watched To-Love Ru and want more? In Haiyore!, the mc also ends up with a harem from space though not as big as Rito's in To Love-Ru. Haiyore's mc isn't clumsy at all like Rito; so no physics defying tumbles and groping. There's fan service in Haiyore but much less than To Love-Ru. The comedy though is very good- definitely watch it for the comedy. its also produced by Xebec; so it shares much of the same art aesthetic as To Love-Ru.

Demons, boobs, Harem, cute girls, and more boobs. Although, the male main character in DxD is more badass than the one in TLR. More laughs in DxD. TLR was funnier from the OVAS and on. 

There are the same in Ecchi and Harem genre as well. But not just only fan service, there are have a side story about battle that might be interested to follow. Basically all woman characters have a same way to sex appeal. But I think the man character (Yuuki Rito and Hyodou Issei) has a bit different way to respond those, although they seem enjoy it.... 

Both Anime are typical Harem-Ecchi-Comedy Shows with some Action content in the form of superpower. In my opinion they are also handling the romance genre a bit better then other harem-comedy shows. Also the ending from both shows are pretty similar. 

TO LOVE-Ru and High School DxD are one of the two modern powerhouse harems. If you enjoyed one of these then I highly recommend you watch the other. Although they have different themes, (sci-fi and space for To LOVE-Ru) (supernatural and fantasy for High School DxD) you will live both of these as a harem lover.

If you like the ecchi genre of High School DXD, you were going to like that of Date A Live and To Love Ru. The strength of these works is the complexity of writing that the characters receive from the author. The humor is not heavy but it is also not very subtle at times, clearly you're going to have a good time watching these works which are of a very good quality. Seto no Hanayome is a MUCH better version of To-Love Ru. Both shows got similar theme, having the male protagonist get into a marriage that they know nothing about at first. Definitely will make you laugh like no tomorrow. 

Guy is forced to marry a girl that he doesn't know. Girls are a little "strange" - San is a mermaid, Lala is an alien 

Both are harems so obviously their are going to be crushes other than the main characters. In To-Love Ru Yukki was forced to be engaged after touching Lala's chest. In Seto, after seeing a mermaid's true form Nagasumi has to choose either marriage or death. Similar stories but Seto no Hanayome is WAYYY funnier.  

Both involve a boy in school who get's unwillingly married to a girl who is not human. Both are full of humor and while To-Love-Ru is more provocative, Seto no Hanayome is just as good. To-Love-Ru revolves around aliens and Seto no Hanayome revolves around mermaids.

Both series mix "religious" and supernatural thematic (Angeloid= Angel Droid / Deviluke= Devil Alien). Both series involves a conflict against an evil powerful leader (Master of Synapse / Gid Lucion Deviluke), who wants back to the main female character in her respective place of origin. To me, both series are perfect for a crossover.

To-LOVE-Ru has the same EXACT story setup at the beginning. Guy has a girl he likes who also likes him, alien princess comes from outer space, alien father could destroy the earth if he doesn't stay with her, etc. You could say that Urusei Yatsura is the origin of this type of story.  

Both stories involve a lead female character who is a beautiful alien that becomes the fiance of the male lead character through some misunderstanding even though the male lead has his eyes on another girl.The alien girl also loves spicy food and sometimes tries to use machines with disastrous effects. 

To Love-Ru is almost a direct copy of Urusei Yatsura, not only the main concept but multiple episodes, characters and ideas were "borrowed" from Urusei Yatsura. 

To LOVE-Ru is the essentially the author's own take on Urusei Yatsura. Both shows are about an alien princess falling coming to Earth and falling in love with a human boy. Lala is similar to Lum in a lot of ways. They both want to be around their love all the time, use a lot of advanced technology, and are often loopy. In both shows, the alien and their love get into a lot of shenanigans, involving both the extraterrestrial and supernatural. 

Our MC has a sudden alien princess fall into his life. One thing happens and they somehow get married. Comedy, ecchi, harem, and romance dominate the two as well as sprinkling in a higher than normal episode count. What you're left with are two shows with pretty similar premises. 

Both have the same overall story, that is an alien coming and falling in love with a human who is a pervert. Urusei yatsura was the starting point of these kind of stories especially harem comedy. But now a days comedy in these genres are falling down, but urusei yatsura used to be the best comedy anime until gintama and nichijou came.  

To Love-Ru was strongly inspired by Urusei Yatsura, as they both feature an unlucky human boy who gets accidentally engaged in marriage with an alien girl who has demonic features and have some harem elements, so if you liked To Love-Ru, you'll like Urusei Yatsura. 

in both, the female mains are alien. in both, the female mains are good inventers tht eventually cause trouble to their darlings.  

Similarities -MC's that are very reserved with women -Both have the same "base" story --new outgoing girl shows up in MC's life and becomes something like a pseudo-girlfriend -Both Stories use the same tactic to advance the "PLOT" -Both MC's are obsessed with a plain reserved girl Difference: To LOVE-Ru is ecchi and Nisekoi isn't ....pretty much the same story otherwise  

In these two anime, multiple girls fall in love with the same guy, and because of similar circumstances, the lead guy starts a relationship with a girl other than his crush from high school. Also, these are love comedies, where the main guy gets into funny situations with the female characters.

They are literally the EXACT same anime, except To LOVE-Ru is ecchi, and is just short of turning into hentai the longer it goes on.. Really the only difference is Chitoge is tsundere while Lala is pretty straight forward with her feelings.  

Due to unwanted circumstances, the main guy is in an official relationship with the main girl even though he and another girl like each other but never manage to confess. And since it's a harem, throw in tons of other girls with varying personalities and have everyone mess around each episode.  

Raku=Rito ? sure, haremness Chitoge=Lala ? the diffrence just in the personality kosaki=haruna ? they are same all the way more similarity raku-kosaki/rito-haruna are falling in love with each other and chitoge/lala came and broke it but, to love ru is too dangerous for -17 :v  

Both series have the same plot where our MC's love a girl from their own class but are not able to say it until they get engaged to another girl that comes out of nowhere because of certain drastic situation. Both then have some harem comedy elements that are pretty fun to watch. The only difference is that Nisekoi is a real life school romance series whereas To-Love Ru involves many alien girls...their strange powers....but don't worry....it is not action....it is a pure harem. BTW the number of girls in To-Love RU nearly doubles the amount in Nisekoi.  

This anime has many similar features or cliches -harem style love story. -some what love triangle (ex onodera>raku<chotoge,haruna>rito<lala) -lots of fan service ;^) -has comedy too -both male protagonist have the most problem of them all Yeah apart from the alien thing this two series are quite similar. I highly recommend it to the people who watched nisekoi or vice versa.  

Ecchi + Aliens + Shy Main Character + comedy = very similiar. 

The meet in when a naked girl appears out of nowhere in his bath-tub just like in the anime "girls bravo" and she want to stay on earth and have the boy all to her self and she is not human its the same kind of story in some ways but you can also cal it different...

Although they are both mostly filler, there are plenty of funny moments fused with top-notch ecchi, and even some romantic moments that tug on your heartstrings a bit, all fueled by a fun, light-hearted cast of characters. The plot of both shows centers around a love triangle between the lead male character who is a high school loner, a female classmate who has been friends with the guy for a while, and a ditsy pink-haired girl whose alien background throws the main characters on hilarious adventures.

Awkward male main character meets beautiful but airheaded girl from another planet/realm who begins living with him. She's unfamiliar with Earth's customs and standards of modesty and always embarrasses the main character or stirs up trouble with her antics, which become the subject material for most episodes. Slowly becomes a harem as her siblings/friends from her home planet are introduced and also live in the same household. Very funny, cute characters and ecchi. And although both shows are mostly episodic, the endings of their second seasons both involve the girl getting taken away and everyone working to bring her back.  

In both of these series the male MC starts to build up a harem of alien and Earth girls. The MC get's into lots of "misunderstandings" which are used as comedy points. All of the alien girls are a little awkward at adapting to Earthly cultures and social expectations. 

For those looking for romantic, comedic, ecchi, and harem fun, then look no further! The ordinary life of these main characters are completely changed when attractive beings from outer space are imposed onto them out of nowhere! While Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou is about monster girls looking to marry the main character, Kimihito Kurusu (due to the forbidden sexual interactions between species by the Interspecies Exchange Act), To-LOVE-Ru also has a similar storyline where the main character, Rito Yuuki, is – unexpectedly – forced to marry a princess of an alien empire (who ran away to avoid an unwanted political marriage). However, Rito Yuuki, has someone else in mind in who he wants to marry. Similarly, the main character finds himself in these odd, sexual, and unexpected situations with the female characters in the anime. Harem ecchi involving non-human girls who get dropped on the main character. In the end, they all want him sexually and romantically. Protagonist is constantly at the mercy of his unwanted harem. First girl is a super-excitable ditz who is deeper than she appears. 

Create relationship with one girl, it's mainstream. With two girls? Still mainstream. Why not with six girls or more, because YOLO... that's why. Yes, both anime will give you a story about a boy who surrounded by many girls (human and non-human) with many romantic comedies event. Imagine a non-human girl (Lala, Mia and companion) that you don't know is staying in your house. What would you do? Just watch and you will understand what would you do. And better watch it alone, because you will see many beautiful scenes. 

Suddenly, a whole harem of sexy aliens or sexy monsters moves to the main character's home. The main girls' personalities are similar in the sens that they are both crazy deredere about the main character, and that's very pleasing to watch. 

They both have a normal dude who now lives with girls with weird "powers". They both very ecchi 

Ecchi style harem comedy with the same concept of extraterrestrial lifeforms being interested in boring average Joe. The 'contents' of the harems maybe a bot different in terms of personalities but the concept and executions is definitely similar.  

Over-sexed female lead chasing after average male lead in both. Kanokon is a poor man's To Love-Ru though ... 

An over-the top comedy about a lively girl who goes to great lengths to win the affection of a boy she falls in love with at first sight. Both anime involve school life, weird gadgets/unnatural powers, and lots of crazy fanservice. 

Same kind of Ecchi show, girl over boy, crazy setting from the very start.

The story is pretty similar (but here the number of girls in love is bigger than every anime before lol), very funny anime, of course with a lot of fanservice and gags. 

The only thing similar is the concept of the forced marriage aspect, and the growing love between the main characters

If u liked to love-ru and especially yami go ahead and watch Balck Cat it's like a prequel to to love-ru. Check it out it's totaly worth it. But donnot start watching Black Cat while expecting panty shots and things like that. Black Cat does not have funservice (and if it does it's not at to love-ru lvl.). 

They have similar characters, as Kyoko and Yami, who, like Eve, is a biological weapon designed to kill, and can also transform your body.

Both are supernatural and harem. Both have a guy who is forced to make a decision about who he loves. 

Rito from To Love Ru has to make a choice between two girls, Haruna, a normal human girl and an alien, Lala. There are other girls who love him who have yet to confess. On the other hand, Tsuchimi Rin from Shuffle faces a similar situation, he has two new girls introduced in to his life who are both non-human beings and wishes to marry him. He, in similar aspects to Rito, is a candidate to beautiful non-human being girls and is loved by several other girls in his school. Some of aspects that make these two different are: 1. [spoiler]To Love Ru was specifically aimed especially to merely entertain its viewers with perverted scenes. To Love Ru makes a very excellent comnedy. On the other hand, Shuffle develops its plot and the charcters by allowing the viewers to become sympathetic towards Nerine, Sia, Kaede, Primula, and Asa, by peering into their pasts, making Shuffle a dramatic anime.[/spoiler] 2. [spoiler]To Love Ru was set whereasin the charcters are intereacted human to aliens, but Shuffle was developed so that the demons, deities, and humans interact one another. Note: Some people will find it awkward that the female characters who are demons and gods alike look as attractive as humans do. Personally, I found it a bit difficult to accept the fact that Nerine, a HELL princess, was really beautiful because in many cultures, demons are ugly and detested. [/spoiler] read more 

These are two great harem anime I think, (i personally have played the hentai game of shuffle!). The animation is really great in To LOVE-ru. Also there is another version of To LOVE-ru that is apparently closer to the manga.  

Same style of ecchi/comedy anime of a guy who meets an alien 

Both have an attractive Alien girl and a guy living under one roof 

Both are realy good to wach animes. Both have certian charm to make you wach it. WARNING: if you wach episodes 1,2,3 and 4 in one day you will be hoked to them as for they have similar plot and are very hilarious 

To Love-Ru was strongly inspired by the original Urusei Yatsura, as they both feature an unlucky human boy who gets accidentally engaged in marriage with an alien girl who has demonic features, so if you liked To Love-Ru, this remake of Urusei Yatsura is for you. 

Do you want a new hot most loyal best waifu whose purpose endgame to get married like Lum? Then To Love Ru have everything to offer with an animation and *coughs* (fan service) with funny comedy and memorable scenes.... heh The only downside of this show is having the same treatment as hiatus x hiatus :sob: But nonetheless a great show to pass time and enjoy the original urusei yatsura vibes! 

To Love Ru is a full ecchi version of Urusei Yatsura. Our main male character is a boy who wants to have a relationship with girl/girls. Then, a waifu alien suddenly appears (check the simmilarity between the names, Lum from UY and Lala from TLR) and start living with our main character, making difficult to engage with other ladies to him. Lots of bishoujos and episodical progression. 

Similarities: -Alien female protagonist -Ordinary male protagonist -Some romance elements - Specifically, love triangles -Both alien female protagonists initially try to hide their identity as aliens -Some comedic elements Differences: -To Love ru has A LOT more fan service -Ano Natsu is more serious and focused on the romance element -To Love ru has a more harem-based approach, whereas Ano Natsu focuses on love triangles/squares/pentagons/etc. -Ano Natsu has more of a progression in plot than To Love ru. To love ru's plot is relatively unconnected - if you skip a few episodes, you haven't really missed out on any plot.  

Both are about a alien girl who comes to earth and falls for a average guy and both have forces trying to bring the girl home and both have the guy fighting for her and both are Harrems(Ano natsu is not as much of a harem as To love-ru).Ano natsu de Matteru is more of a drama/slice of life and can be somewhat slow at times where To love-ru is a ecchi/comedy which can be overwhelming at times but overall both are enjoyable.

Both were produce by Xebec and bother were almost as the same in plot , harem and chacater roles except the setting and the plot were diffrent.  

both tells about the life of someone who has a strange fiance and appear suddenly but if in To Love Ru,the female(Lala) as a strange fiance then in Mikakunin de Shinkoukei,the male(Hakuya) as a strange fiance. and both have a comedy and unique romance. 

* Non-human fiancé moves into MC's house... * Both has a little bit of romance ... * Both of MC's parents doesn't care at all who is their childs fiancé... * Hit or Miss comedy.... * Both MC's has awesome little sisters....ugh... * Both cartoons follows more of a slice of life's format ( slow and most of the time boring )  

Both has similar lead girls and males. also, both has a similar feel to it while you are watching. 

Both include unwanted pink-haired wife that gradually becomes more important to the main character. same style of wacky comedy and fan service is almost equal. both have open endindings. 

Jitsu wa Watashi wa and To LOVE-Ru both series: - They have a protagonist who wants to confess to the girl he likes, but certain facts prevent him from doing so. - The protagonist meets a girl who is really (in Jitsu wa Watashi wa is vampire and in To LOVE-Ru a alien), where he must hide that truth before the others, so that he does not return to the place where he belongs. He also discovers that there are more people like them, who hide their true nature. - We have the class president who hides her feelings until she says enough is enough. - We have the character who changes sex, who is a friend of the girl's childhood. Two series of romantic comedy, with touches of harem, where any madness can happen (constantly). read more 

airheaded main female MC's, but super kawaii and lovely? :D turn on your airconditioner at full power, cuz you will be melt by the cuteness of these 2 female MC's. if you have watched "To Love Ru", try "Jitsu wa watashi wa". and enjoy the fun :D 

In consideration for the ecchi lovers out there =P. I recommend the To Love Ru series, although the first season isn't that great getting into the OVA episodes and later sequels, To Love Ru is a highly enjoyable anime with a unique addition of space aliens in a high school along with, well... the ecchi loaded scenes. Have fun ;) 

Both are highly-ecchi harem animes featuring female siblings and really nice but dumb harem focus boys. They're quite nice and both have some really nice plot development. A lot of the Kiss x Sis plot is in the (ongoing) manga, which is an option for To Love-Ru, but given the combination of To Love-Ru, Motto To Love-Ru, and To Love-Ru: Darkness, the anime itself covers a lot of the detailed plot development. They're both more optimistic looks on a harem. 

The only thing similar is the concept of the forced marriage aspect, and the growing love between the main characters

Both attempt sci-fi, except in TLR it is almost deflated. Lala keeps inventing gizmos and the only thing the narrative comes up with is the same exact comedic routines invariably involving the protagonist falling, with inevitable coincidences. Lala in Yami happens to be an AI in a spaceship that cares for children. 

The beginning of the anime ore very similar because the main characters (Reborn/Lala) changes completly their life, and a the love story are similar because of how the main characters don't know who to choose. 

Same kind of ecchi, 1 guy several girls, 2 girls fighting over 1 guy, lots of humor, almost no storyline to follow 

To LOVE-Ru is basically a more fanservice base modern of Tenchi Muyo, both shows have pretty girls with cool personality, aliens and space! If you like Tenchi or To LOVE-Ru, there is no reason to not try the other one. 

Both of these anime are similar that the main heroine in them has arrived from other planet. On the Earth it meets and falls in love with the boy. And as besides the guy gets set of new friends and girlfriends. And because of it some other heroines start to dislike it. :) In general in these anime there are still more many similar characters and the various situations occuring to them.  

Similarities: - Both MC are helpless. - Both series are harem and comedy. - Both main heroines came from nowhere. Differences: - Different storyline, like totally. 

The silliness and comedic factor surrounding characters with forces that seem out of control and new to them make them seem not so different from one another. 

Both animes are about a girl trying to get a guy. Both animes have other girls liking the main guy. Allthough To LOVE-Ru is a little more ecchi. I think both shows are great. The girl is naked in front of the guy in the first episodes in both shows, You should definitly watch both of these if you liked one of them.

Both main chars wanted a human girl, and they end up with an alien . Also, deals about forced marriage, one by parents, other by "laws", and it's some hell of special laws 

Both shows are harems featuring girls who appear supernaturally. Both female leads (Lala-sama and Nagi) have similar personalities and both are voiced by the adorable Haruka Tomatsu. But while To LOVE-Ru goes for those over the top hilarious ecchi situations and comedy, Kannagi focuses on more subtle(though just as frequent) comedy, slapstick, and ecchi. Furthermore where TLR is "sci-fi" featuring aliens etc. Kannagi is "paranormal" and has godesses and spirits...However BOTH shows have more to do with awkward, pervy, and hilarious situations than aliens or ghosts, and if you liked one show, you'll like the other 

Both are ecchi to a great extent. For those who have watched To-Love-Ru, I'd recommend Omamori Himari next, or vice-versa. Be warned, not for those who faints at the sight of ecchi stuffs.
