When I started watching Monster Musume the first anime that fell into my mind was To Love Ru.
Both anime's have a male character who gets his life turned upside down because of alien girls moving into his house.
In Monster Musume it is a part of a human/alien treaty to improve the relationship between humans and these monster girls.

Create relationship with one girl, it's mainstream. With two girls? Still mainstream. Why not with six girls or more, because YOLO... that's why. Yes, both anime will give you a story about a boy who surrounded by many girls (human and non-human) with many romantic comedies event. Imagine a non-human girl (Lala, Mia and companion) that you don't know is staying in your house. What would you do? Just watch and you will understand what would you do. And better watch it alone, because you will see many beautiful scenes.
Suddenly, a whole harem of sexy aliens or sexy monsters moves to the main character's home. The main girls' personalities are similar in the sens that they are both crazy deredere about the main character, and that's very pleasing to watch.
They both have a normal dude who now lives with girls with weird "powers".

Ecchi style harem comedy with the same concept of extraterrestrial lifeforms being interested in boring average Joe. The 'contents' of the harems maybe a bot different in terms of personalities but the concept and executions is definitely similar.
