| correct me if I'm wrong, but when Aki killed some of the villagers and was sent to the prison in the village, wasn't that the first time he used his kakashi, Kuramitsuha? Because in the episode that showed Aki's past in the village I don't remember that it was ever mentioned that he was a seki, in fact I remember him taking Kuramitsuha from the guy that killed the teacher and after that Aki was sent to prison. as for the episode it was great and the evil kakashi that Kyohei and friends fought with in the flashback had a scary sound and it was hard to kill, it reminded me of horror movies, when a monster/killer is suppose to be dead and it keeps coming back to life. Like the way this episode was directed. Edit: BTW this series has the best opening I have seen in this and last year's anime line up. It has an amazing song and visuals that match it perfectly. The ending is very good. |

| With the introduction of another major character and only a few episodes left I think they are aiming for a second season. It would be very difficult to resolve everything in the limited time we have left. My recollection from the Sensei flashback was that his kakahi was taken away from him because he was so unstable. This flashback was of when he was younger (and explains where the instability started). |

He probably lost his Seki status right after the incident with the mind eating kakashi, but the exact reason remains unclear. And then Kuramitsuha was assigned Atsushi as seki. |

| Here comes Mahiru! Another violent character similar to Aki. Although Aki is miserable, the hysterical princess is crisp. It's a shame that she is a supporting character. |

| well Mahiru is easily better than brother complex loli and cow tits. I find this show gets a lot more interesting with the flashbacks and focus on Kouhei and Aki instead of annoying loli and her annoying twin. that thing that rapes minds was creepy and apparently had serious effects on the 3 of them. I figured the adults would take it down but it is too bad we didn't get to see it. so this politician freed Aki and is trying to use Mahiru too to try to change their crappy village. whatever.... |

| Well final-fucking-ly I feel like we got some progress in this episode, it wasn't just loli and slice of lovey-dovey life shit. I gotta say I'm digging Mahiru, I loved when she called Utao out on her brother complex~xD And that Kakeshi was fucking brutal awesome, I wonder is Aki is crazy because it ate the good part of his mind?D; But really, I'm thankful for the sudden progress that we got in the episode, it was looong overdue. |

| Mahiru is sure indeed entertaining but wth Kuga and Hyuga they are all short tempered and they throw their tantrum so easily with just easy talks. I like Mahiru's flashback than that Chihaya. |
| Lot's of love for the crazy bitch but i can't share it. I have little sympathy for her spoiled little brat show. Not a bad episode though, I'm probably from the few that prefer the previous flashback more but better than all those boring episode that very little happens. |

| wow. easily best episode of this series so far. mahiru is fucking amazing. love hearing a new side of kana hanazawa. sooooooo great. i liked the back story on her, kyouhei and aki. i still kinda think kyouheis a bitch but he was leaning towards getting drawn back into things which is promising. let's see where this goes |

| Huh, interesting episode. Mahiru is ... scary ... O_O So that's what happened ... I guess I can kind of understand why Mahiru likes Kyohei lol. Or why they're kinda messed up O_O Looks like that was the same as the spider one shown last time ... (I think, haven't watched in a while). Didn't know how their Dolls could bleed though. Wow musta been hella scary ... wonder how they got saved o_O Even weirder is that now it's fixed ... hum Oh and that other guy who saved Aki from jail and met up with him and Kuuko and Mahiru ... hrm. Well. I don't actually remember much so I'll just let that sit there XD |
| Loved the fight between Aki and Mahiru. But I would have never guessed that Aki can lose to her, not to mention that Kuuko would attack Mahiru. That was even more surprising, it's that we got even further backstory of Kyouhei and Aki (this time with Mahiru). This is getting better. |

| Okay so Mahiru is a psycho, but we can see why she likes Kyohei so much We got to see what happened back when Aki, Mahiru, and Kyohei were kids. The words at the very beginning of episode 1 were the same as what that 4-legged kakashi said when it tied up Aki, I thought that was a nice touch. It messing with Mahiru's mind after she set up the barrier and tried to control it was pretty freaky. I wonder if it's the same kakashi as Amaterasu, the one that the Hyuga elder revealed in the cave that they were looking for a seki for. Kyohei says he thinks the adults came and destroyed it, but he also said he doesn't remember that well so maybe! Damn these poor kids have been though so much trauma :( |

| This is the best episode so far, we had a great fight scenes and a gruesome flashback, The flashback showed why Kyouhei is the MC, he did a good job protecting Mahiru and Aki, I believe Mahiru is a psycho because of the mental damage of that fight, And in the middle of all of this some guy from the village want to use the dolls to his advantage, looks like the Kyoga elder is not the only villain her.  |

| So that's why Kyouhei is so boring in the present time: the awesome quadruped monster biomech doll thing "mindbroke" him, and he's still affected by the experience. It's a shame too, because his current personality consists of obsessing over Hibino and not much else. Even when both Hibino and Utao were nearly crushed there, he only gave a shit about Hibino, with no regard for his own younger sister. Also, Mahiru is a nice addition to the current roster of characters. I like how she isn't taking any fucks from anyone, and is actually the one giving the fucks. Very cool. Best episode so far. The terror the quadrupedal mech exuded was palpable, with the otherworldly screeches, psychological torture and destructive lasers it fires exemplifying how dangerous it was intended to be. |
