Saw your post on a thread I was lurking - I share your sentiments about Shaft.

While I can't say I hate or even dislike them or the anime produced, I know what you mean with the overrating issue.

I mean, Shaft is kind of cool for the experimental art directing, but I personally feel that gets in the way of the anime sometimes. Ef is a perfect example, at least in my opinion.

Thanks, I will look into the visual novels of Canvas 2..though I was planning on moving on from the title; it could be worth my while to look into since I was so dissatisfied with ending.

If I understand right, the male sex drive is still strong into that age, it's more if they have any stimulus to motivate someone to have sex at such an old age.(Referring to your comment in the Usagi Drop thread).
