It´s fine having pause considering OP anime is on break and is doing remastered stuff like Conan started to do in 2007 but for OP it´s the whole 1st post-timeskip big arc (Return to Sabaodi included) for now and depending how much manga goes far ahead we can hope that Punk Hazard remaster would be next maybe (?) next year since there´s still 2nd half of Egghead anime to go after focus on other characters post-REVERIE PART II.Well, once MAPPA starts release the anime sequels for its shounens IPs they started it´s going to get crazy once again as KnY is going to take a while as well.
There are no animes like that due to meta changes and the animation styles being for what it is these days..at best you can try some mangas that came out in the past 5-10 years.
You´re welcome xD
and I’m good, thanks for checking in ~
I would say the way they handled what to leave out from the chapters worked out quite well in the end..almost reminds me of Reborn where it wasn´t exactly the case but it had these daily lives episodes as well basically before we hit the 20th or so episode. Here in Yozakura it obviously started few episodes earlier but still was nice to get the recurring characters knowing first before having them all together for the last arc of the 2nd cour which exactly now adaptated half of the pre-timeskip stuff :-)
With Fable it´s hard for me because the way woman gets involved and getting her out of that scam was great stuff 1st time around (1st cour as a whole) but in 2nd cour it´s basically woman again but with different twist on it regarding her background despite the people surrounding her are ''kinda'' trying to get her to be in that same bussiness as Misaki (which is the character that..you might guess what happens with her progression wise at the end of the manga xD).
I guess Konosuba doesn´t really work on people at specific point in life which is fine..I loved it that it could be the same (and better than the manga adaptation as well) and also finally introduce the next batch of recurring charactrs and some of the feelings the few party memebers have for reach other but they all leave it at stalemate because that´s what make the party come together once again.
Hmm..I think that sort of thing or quirk is just thing of time regarding when this sort of thing was the common hook..pacing wise it was perfect for ONA series (30 chapters covered if we prretend that all 5 hour episodes are 15 20 mins episodes so on average you get 1 chapter adaptated in 40mins which then can feel a lot I guess xD)
Damn..not gonna pretend I can´t relate but well,I surviving One Piece anime and its pacing for 15 years or how long it has been like that while Wano was definitely not something that immersive compared to the manga as a whole but the arc after is quite good and don´t mind the dragging on as much..not only because of new setting and Egghead as a whole but because they sneaked in middle of that arc REVERIE arc PART II basically xD Still thing that enjoyement wise it was the strongest that arc in KnY alongside the 2nd cour of S1.
Hmm I see..was it the style of character utilization or the premise just be..very oldschool? Since the anime original 2nd half takes it to that notch even further with its own villian and semi-after story sort of thing (since the 1st half of the series was as a movie first before it became ONA series).
Interesting that there are people who actually enjoyed Yozakura Family..I mean the manga is basically nearing its end and anime most likely adapt until the end of upcoming arc - ch 85 (what I would call end of 1st saga or 1st half of the pre-timeskip stuff) and that's like 30 chapters left to adapt. The pre-timeskip stuff ends on ch170 so if they do S2 of 2-cours again they could finish up at that ''checkpoint'' as well.Fable is cool but the manga never really wowed me enough to immerse myself more with it since I remember liking the 1st third of the manga the most anyway.Konosuba is awesome but the point is...so much time has passed since S1 did debut when that kind of stuff was still meta and LN also ended over 4 years ago. It's just product of time that might not work as time capsule well enough..similarly how Baka To Test also received similar treatment that after few years no one really could immerse himself in the series despite both seasons being 8+ score wise when people were still expecting S3 to some degree.Repetetive is to be expected when you can't view the series as sitcom..similarly how Conan is basically the same for hundreds of episodes but still fun get the interactions between the recurring cast going..
That's cool I suppose..what is your take on Sand Land (since it had anime not so long ago) xD
