| Well, Eliana has a love for books indeed. I think this episode is kinda adorable for protraying her character like a graceful beauty but also keeping her character innocent. Christopher seems to be the type of classic princely type character that exists in romance dramas. And it looks like another girl has eyes on him. Eliana really has a lot of charm to her character imo. |

| Parco Molo Why do i feel like i've heard the opening somewhere ? It really seems familiar to me for some reason. Anyway, our sugary princess story begun, no matter how many times you watch something like this, the romanticized setting is unquestionably dazzling, everyone's so pretty, and classy lol. Also, from the PV, the show visually looked worse than it actually is, it looks realy nice. Of course, Elianna always has the eyes of always putting her bookworm personality first and being Prince Christopher's phony fiancé would help inch her closer towards the royal archives of books galore. Elianna, together with the other people of the Bernstein Family in the royal palace, lead a somewhat typical life of nobles. Only that between Elianna and Christopher, it's nothing more than a mutual benefit between each other while holding off marriage as long as possible. Be it the tea party with Irene or being blocked by royal guards doing cleaning in the archives, Elianna only gleams at the sight of books, while letting Christopher be slowly taken away by Irene. Never would've expected a Kashitaro Itou ED, that's along his usual vocal range. But otherwise, this is quite the niche show indeed, and will take sometime to get used to. |

| What great about this anime are its OP and ED. The first episode's pace was quite slow, but the relationship between Elianna, CHristopher, and Aileen seemed very interesting. |

| A decent first episode, a calming situation suffused with a sort of mist of uncertainty. MC has the hair. All of the little bits of foreshadowing are kind of scary, but not terrifying. I hope she gets to keep reading. |

| Im assuming they were blanking Elianna is because they think shes on the way out in favour of the brunette girl - cant remember her name atm - due to rumours being spread probably 4 years is a long time, thats a lot of book reading. I cant get a handle on Elianna atm |
| Pretty sweet start, really liked Elianna. She's too adorable, must protect her smile. Idk how much drama there'll be but hopefully it won't lessen my enjoyment. Looking forward to upcoming episodes. |

| Yeah that's a kind of Honzuki x Versailles no Bara... well it's cute that the princess loves books so much but now she's already falling in love with the prince and becoming somewhat jealous, I guess the rest is up to both of them becoming closer and closer to each other... I like how the atmosphere is so calm that it ends up being relaxing even with the premise of drama |

| Another one of my most anticipated shows of the season is FINALLY here. Been looking forward to Madhouse return to the romance genre for a while. First episode was quite the slowburn, but eliana is absolutely adorable. Unfortunately, if you don’t snooze you do lose. She had 4 years to solidify her relationship with Christopher and it looks like he’s been playing the field, can’t really blame him. Really excited to see how things turn out here. Art is gorgeous and the character designs have a nice modern shoujo feel to them(even though this is a LN). |

| Great episode. Elianna is really cute, she's the textbook pretty princess. I'm getting a feeling and I'm also hoping that we get some real romance in this and not the romcom level romance. I don't mind the drama, I just need some nice unadulterated, uninterrupted, pure romance and this looks promising on those terms. The prince is also the textbook definition prince. He obviously likes her and I'm sure they both have kind of grown attached to each other having spent 4 years in each other's company. Overall, liked this a lot. Looking forward to next episode. |

| Would really like to know why the Guards and others were like ripping into her at times on the second half of the episode. Like I get the book thing but everything else that happened was kinda rude. Idk episode just rubbed me the wrong way. Not a fan of the Brown Hair chick. |

| I didn't expect that a historical shoujo romance would make my eyes sparkle in its premiere. So far, among the ones that aired already this Fall, this is the first that made me feel like this. Seems that this would be my cup of tea moving forward. |

| Elianna and the prince are both so boring! Total blank canvases. :/ She has no spark of life in her, doesn't initiate anything, doesn't have anything going on in her life. She just meekly obeys everyone and hangs her head. The prince is worse. He has no traits whatsoever. |
| This was on the verge of getting very dull but there is the question about why everyone started to give her some dort of the cold shoulder. The conversation about how their deal was made was funny, he only needed some good books to get her  |
| I had zero expectations going in, so it was a pleasant experience honestly. Very slow throughout but I like how the entire episode was dedicated mainly to Ellaine. Simple set up episode. @SoraSenpai @Safrichh Irene plotting maybe? |
