Whoa...that finger sucking scene. This episode definitely had some innenudos, whether the anime intended or not.

Looks like Anna has more admirers at school, which is something I'm not that surprised by. Not going to lie, I enjoyed watching Anna going out with Kyoutarou. It wasn't exactly a date but they got to spend more time together outside of school.

I mean Ichikawa, you've just realized the other day that you like Yamada, so there’s really no rush to get into the gist of its literal meaning lol, just live in the moment. Though for Yamada she’s as carefree as ever, with her snacks. Usual library spot is one thing, she’s even marking her territory to other places at school too. Though not going to lie, that “Pruiche” scene was more funnier in the manga, as the stuff looked pure white there. Here they kinda changed into light reddish :(

Also hey Ichikawa never misses a chance to help out Yamada, right? Be it her making up with the girl who hit her with basketball last episode, or giving her a free ride on his bicycle. Dude is meta flexible. And no this doesn’t just apply within the school premises, as even outside he has his frequent coincidental meetups with Yamada. No can’t be frequent if it’s coincidental but still lol. Though a good thing his sister didn’t notice this unusual figure, Yamada, flocking around him.

Good deed do get rewarded, just see Ichikawa in the end.

Yeah, by know it should not come as a surprise that the reason why our dear heroine is hidding the milk from her lunch, is for no such a noble goal as to feed abandoned puppies ... but to have it for later with some milk snack, lol.

After a little cum break, the girl who accidentally hit Yamada in the previous episode is here to apologize, nice of her, but Yamada should also pay more attention next time.

Also, an older sister is here, hello.

Love as a mental illness huh quite a unique view. Still sneaking into the science room sure was daring of them. Yamada really can be so clueless about events around her. The bike ride though was a pretty cute scene. But it was nice to see an expansion on Kyotaro's family in the form of his sister. Out of uniform Anna really does quite different. Its cute that their bond is improving so well and so quick as well.

We get Ichikawa's point of view more then Yamada's so we know he's falling hard for her. But you notice throughout this series and really more this episode that Yamada's glances and actions are really geared towards her fondness of Ichikawa. Such as the Bike scene when he rides past the Policebox, or him just going in with her to see the teacher.
Another example would be a sense of relief she had when she heard that Ichikawa was sitting with his sister and not just another girl.
Thats how I saw that moment.

Forgot about when he gave her the ring from that Soda candy. Solid moment.
OH and when she gave him they "Hey" bump when he was in line at WcDonalds. Loved it.

Man though this development is really good. I am loving every episode so far.

Ichikawa definitely has the "heart disease" of love and infatuation, and Yamada is back into her library shenanigans, which the both of them sneaked into the Home Ec room to do the food creation of Puruche. Though he would get a finger's worth while Yamada a glass flask's worth, it sure looked like the scene out of a postmortem sexual scene. But this girl, Rin Kanaoya, whom keeps stalking her from a distance, she merely wants to talk to Yamada while Moeko watches from afar of her opening up to said girl and apologizing for her actions of breaking her nose. The model that doesn't care one bit that her nose is broken, is elated about Ichikawa's new bike, and wants a ride on it, which is quite sudden for him. He certainly got a heartskip when Yamada wanted to quit the basketball club to be in the same club that he is, and struck with the heart disease, the ambiguous relationship is kinda to be seen.

Yamada being suspected of throwing snacks, and there lies Ichikawa with his sister Kana, the brother being teased by his sister. Obviously, Yamada and her clique would not miss him, and especially for Yamada, this is her chance to talk to him, which he got flustered that he followed up with her choices. The confrontation with their homeroom teacher with Ichikawa backing Yamada up, and it's rare that he can come up with the logic to squint off their teacher.

Ichikawa definitely having a chad moment, at least for once. Good on you.

Ichikawa’s growth over these 4 episodes has been amazing. Him sticking up for Yamada was so out of character for the edgy chuuni we saw in episode 1. Im proud of my boy. Love really does bring out the best in people.

As usual the episode today featured some phenomenal art direction and the OST heightened the emotions in several key scenes. Particularly with the two girls in the first half, the bike ride scene and then Yamada’s line at the end.

“Let’s talk more as friends” it seems Yamada is finally realising how she feels about Ichikawa too. I’m so hype to see more of this duo. Really love this show

I've, for now until she proves me wrong, have adopted a nickname for Anna and that is Airhead Anna. Don't get me wrong, she may be an airhead but she's also very likeable and actually pretty observant (and also dresses mature-like). This episode was great and Ichikawa's imagination was hilarious, such as when he thought Anna was going to give the milk to puppies lol. It's cool that he stood up for Anna at the teacher's office but did not take the fall himself and apparently this has allowed him to talk more than in the past.

We also got introduced to Ichikawa's older sister and I wonder how she will react when she finds out her brother has a crush (I'm thinking it will involve teasing probably). This has been an entertaining and wholesome watch so far and I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Kyoutarou has some sort of heart disease, he still can't process it. Anna is literally putting milk in her bag to make something else, I would have never thought to see that. Kyoutarou stops Anna from pouring the milk and tells her to get an bowl but when they go to the class-room, its closed, they then try the science lab and its open and they don't wanna get caught by the teacher but the teacher sees them anyway and yeah that scene was something. They then get put on cleaning duty or something and Rin still tries to apologize to Anna for the incident but she can't find the opportunity.

The opportunity for Rin to apologize comes when she and Anna are alone in the library classroom and Anna just shrugs it off. Kyoutarou then sees Anna after school and he gives her a bike ride towards her destination, that silence though when she said that she also wants to join the Data Processing Club. That scene when Kyoutarou held his hand high and the taxi stopped had me laughing.

The teacher thinks that Anna is the one with the candy wrapper or something. This is probably the first time that we see Kyoutarou's sister named Kana, they are out eating and ofcourse Anna is in the same restaurant lol, hey her nose is healed though, so that's nice. Damn I never have seen Kyoutarou talk so much in-front of a teacher as well, that's some courage, and Anna acknowledges that. Anna wants to become more friendly with Kyoutarou.

Yamada is the best milk smuggler around, but she isn’t the best at staying hidden when she coughed up her snack on herself lol, poor Ichikawa was graced with a great scene but had to explain himself to the teacher because that looked very sus at first glance lol.

I also enjoyed the bit with Rin and her friend, I actually forgot she was the one who hit Yamada with the ball just like Yamada did lol, but it was nice to see her apologize after struggling initially. And damn man, I loved the bit where Ichikawa and Yamada rode a bike together, probably one of my favorite bits of the show so far.

And Yamada looked absolutely dazzling in that outfit during the McDonald’s bit, their conversation was very cute, as well as when she initially bumped into him in line lol, love how Yamada isn’t hesitating to interact with Ichikawa at this point. I also like the addition of Ichikawa’s sister, she was cute and her relationship with Ichikawa seems sweet. And the last bit was hilarious with the logic Ichikawa used to defend Yamada lol. And that final scene, Ichikawa sure has come a long way with Yamada in just a few episodes, love to see it.

Sometimes Ichikawas constant stuttering make the conversations with Yamada feel really tough to watch. I get that it's "realistic" through his established personality, but it's just not very entertaining for me.
But Yamada's gorgeous character design keeps me going. How can she be so sweet and hot at the same time?

Another really good episode. Each episode has felt really consistent, even as the story is starting to shift and we learn more about the characters. It is just becoming more and more charming overall.

I do like the way they continue to cut up and reorder the source material. The episodes definitely seem to work in their own right and I doubt I would really even notice the change if I was not familiar with the manga. I would love if they keep incorporating little things from the manga extras and such as well.

Too bad also that Ichikawa didn't give Yamada his cream. His SOFT SERVE ICE cream, that he bought for her, just to be clear.

I don't mind seeing airheaded girl get flustered when the tease backfired. But man wtf Yamada thats some cute reaction when the bicycle scene happened at the end, ngl.

Better episode to step up Ichikawa game with Yamada, by talking a lot, agree with that scary teacher. Ichikawa sis also coming and i'm pretty sure Yamada got curious about her too. She really meant it. Meanwhile, Ichikawa was still doing his usual backup role, but at the very least its lead something there: he got an approved call from Yamada which may stepping up the game into more than the wholesomeness.

There's some fun subtle stuff in this episode.

Yamada preens her hair before asking Kyoutarou to do the face-swap app with her; she was hoping to get a picture of them together; sadly he didn't realize what she was actually getitng at.

Kyoutarou literally gets a green light to go forward after Yamada's off-hand comment made him realize he needs to change and she seems to realize the effort he's suddenly making and becomes impressed into silence which is interesting since it's usually her that's making him speechless. He doesn't notice because he's facing the wrong way.

Tthe moment Kyoutarou's sister calls him "Kyo-chan" Yamada stops shaking her chicken bag and sits stock-still until she hears her call herself his sister. She was probably worried he unexpectadly had a girlfriend. Then she confirms with him that it was his sister and says she wants to be her friend. Wanting to be friends with his family is a pretty forward way of hinting she's interested in him. Kyoutarou may have finally realized, too late, that Yamada wanted to talk to him, but the rest sailed over his head as usual.

Yamada is clearly quite interested in him. The cute drawing and the sweet gesture with the tissues from the last episode have really captured her attention.

The subs have trouble expressing the signifigance of the last scene; Yamada said just calling her "Yamada" instead of "Yamada-san" was fine, which is expressly more intimate.

They really are using a somehow slow pace on the romantic development for Ichikawa and Yamada and they seem to have rearranged some of the events but to me who read the source material, it kind of made the storytelling a bit better. Still having fun watching this two becoming closer and closer. By this episode, basically the barrier between Yamada and Ichikawa has already been surpassed (specially starting when Ichikawa handed her that illustration), and Yamada already sees Ichikawa as not just a typical adolescent boy like Adachi. I guess Ichikawa's charm is that he gives off a sincere 'younger brother' vibe - shy but will always protect his 'older sister' figure to the best he can (this is why his sister dotes on him whole-heartedly - maybe she also has a bro-con). Too bad Ichikawa's incel nature is predominant as of now.

Seriously, these two odd balls seem to be a clear case of opposites attract. It is happening so naturally. Ichikawa's overthinking and Yamada's I go for what I like.

I agree with most of what you said, except the ending phrase.
Ichikawa is nowhere close to being a incel. He is just a shy and introverted kid who likes reading books about criminology and because he was lonely before start talking to Yamada he created his whole chunin "i am dangerous" fantasy.
The care he gives to Yamada and his high empathy that made him cry after seeing her injured plus the way he interacts with his older sister are a dead giveway that Ichikawa is the one boy you could be sure is not a incel on that class.

Sorry what I meant is he has that incel-like nature from the definition of an incel or involuntary celibate. He likes Yamada a lot more than he believes so, but his predisposition of people, specificially a certain group of high class women that he thinks Yamada is part of, making him think that he is being made fun of, preventing him from getting closer with her (kind of an instinctive hate against society and making him think that he is always being ostracized) - of which is probably one of the reason he got the chuunibyou of having murderous intents and having Yamada as his prime target. He also has the bad habit of thinking that all of society hates people like him, causing him to miss out on such experiences and also in turn making him overlook his own good traits and sincerity. He also has the habit of nitpicking, trying to find faults on something he thinks he will not be able to obtain (sour-graping).

Are you ? They were asked to make a groups of 4, so you should watch only those in your group, also when you throw a ball you watch if a person sees, otherwise you don't it's common sense not to injure someone and also in a game not to waste an opportunity. If you don't understand it too bad for you, so Yamada spaced out it happens. If you practise will you throw a basketball at a girl's face who is watching other way or talking with someone ? Even if she is on a court ... If you do it says a lot about you. Most likely you hit her in the face like Yamada was, and the best case is she cries, the worst her nose might break.
