Chihayafuru, to me, is not about karuta. Chihayafuru is about motivating its viewers to work hard to achieve their goals. And that's why I fucking love it like no other.

Anyway, I'm really glad you loved Tsurune. I have been gatekeeping it from others so I never got the chance to discuss it with anybody!!
I loved how Tsurune focuses on the characters and their dynamics much more than the sport, as well.
Masa-san has my heart. I love that they showed how he was struggling as a new teacher as well as finding his way while guiding his students.
The sport just became the medium through which the mangaka was able to deep-dive into the Slice of Life themes! Very much like Haikyuu! (I would highly suggest if you haven't already watched it.)
And yes, I completely agree. Josei has such a subtle way of being real as well as entertaining. I love it. I can say Seinen does it well too, but I do find that I somehow prefer Josei written by a female mangaka over Seinen written by a male mangaka any day. I suppose mainly because we can relate to the real issues, and how the focus is mostly on the characters' internal growth and their relationships (not the romantic ones).
I like romance with drama as well, much more than slice of life.
I saw Bokura ga Ita top on your list. That is a forgotten masterpiece.
"Made me cry so gets a 10". You surely like sad stuff, just like me. CLANNAD After Story, Kanon are something that I hope you could give it a try.
I have formed a group on anime romance, perhaps you would interest to join? I would really like to share our interest in romance with drama. Here is the invitation link: https://discord.gg/PCG7XGsS
I saw you watch a lot of romance anime such as Kimi ni Todoke , My Little Monster and Kamisama Kiss. Perhaps we could share our interest in romance anime?
Acabo de verlo y debo agradecerte, creí que en el aserie solo habría live action, fue una historia muy bonita y se nota el talento de Yamada, gracias por la recomendación.
