| Poor Handa. He was so happy to be around all those cats, but then he found out that he's actually allergic to them. The phone scene was hilarious. Naru and Hina were laughing at him the entire time. That darkness line was awful. |

| Ah.. These episodes always go by so fast.. They are just so charming and heartwarming. Everyone acts so natural, the way he treats the kids is natural too, but it also shows just how close the community is. It's the kind of place you'd want to spend your life at. Haha This is just, the light at the end of my day. It's the only show on my list that I know when I put it on, I am just going to relax and have a good time. Probably the most honest show this season. |
| Rotary phone! Wow that brings back memories. I actually liked using those (when I didn't even know what a phone was). Turn the dial then watch it turn back...ah simple joys haha. When Handa said something cheesy on the phone, you knew he was going to be made fun of. You just knew it was coming. No way Naru would let that slide XD I asked this on last week's thread too but can someone who's knowledgeable of Japanese linguistics tell me from which region is that accent? It's driving me crazy not to know ;__; |

Lol at sensei's first reaction when he saw the cute kitties and after he saw that they won't come to him. Ah, of course he's allergic to them... Sensei... you made a fool out of yourself... Lol, that guy's freaking scary... You didn't remember their names... that's sad... LOL, Naru's hand is now on the boat XD. Hahahaha, sensei ran away from Miwa's dad XD. |

| When he held that cat in the air, I find it funny. And the part where Naru and Hina imitated him. The kids really put a smile on everyone's faces. |
| Lmao, those scenes where Handa's heart went doki-doki. Never expected this side of this sensei-character. And never expected that he would be this much allergic too. His reaction and face was amusing to watch though. XD Lol'd so much when he was having problem with the landline too. Tbh, I never got around those types of landline too so during that scene, I was like "IKR RIGHT?" XD. Miwa's Yakuza dad. xD That old demon geezer, loved it how he badmouthed him indirectly while practicising calligraphy on those wooden planks. Also, demon dad has amazing sense of naming. Wonder what would be Miwa's name if he decided to name her lol. ^^ Highlight of this episode was definitely the scene where Naru imprinted her hand's impression on the boat. That was soo funny XD! Totally love this series afterall. Just deliver this content again consistently in all of the remaining episodes. >_< |

If you can't, the English Wikipedia only has a brief summary of the dialects of the general area. |

| Scuba-yakuza is terrifying... and kind of adorable... and then territyfing again Another great episode, needed more Naru and bubblegum Hina though; I just love watching this show, it's so fun and relaxing. |
| The kids are so cute and silly. And Honda's misfortune was humorous as well. It was just a plain fun episode. Did not think I would enjoy this series as much as I am. It's very rare when you come across a very peaceful anime like this one. It never fails to put a smile on my face. |

Aw. It seems as though Handa is always down on his luck. I think there are many learning experiences to be had for not only the children but also Handa in this town, however. Personally, I love the tranquil and charming plot and setting of this anime; it really makes me feel relaxed and at ease! As I'm sure others have noticed before me, the cat scene reminded me of Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji/ Black Butler. It was really adorable- yet I felt really sorry when Handa's life took another turn for bad luck when he found out he was allergic to cats. I feel your pain, Handa. I love cats, too, but if I pet them I get rashes all over my hands ;-; Well, regardless, I think with Naru and encountering all the other townsfolk Handa will have plenty of entertainment and stuff to deal with. I also realized that the townspeople have a lot more faith in Handa than he does in himself. He's too worried about technique and what should be deemed correct, when calligraphy, as far as I know, is a subjective art form. If it's anything like drawing, music, theater, whatever, there is a necessity to deviate slightly from the set path of technique in order to make something that will really stand out. I guess this is one of the things Handa has to learn, and there might be no better people to teach him than the townsfolk, who certainly aren't behaving to what we might, in the urbane world, appropriate as societal norms. |

| Not as good as the previous episode but I overally enjoyed it, it's kind of funny to hear Ono Daisuke in a silly not serious voice, pretty suited for the role anyway. Highlight of the episode was when Naru and the others kids have smashed their hands on the boat, Sensei's reaction was priceless. |

| Anyone up to seeing Demon Geezers 2? lol Noru and Hina are so cute I could die. i can barely take it. When they scared Handa, Hina was even crying then XD I was confused as to why Handa couldn't use a rotary phone...then i made the sad discovery that I was older than him... Gangster dad lol. Love this ep. |

| H-how could he not be aware of how to use a rotary phone? That's odd. Surely he had the chance to at least catch a glimpse of this kind of phone in his childhood. Ah, a guy who is fond of cats. I really liked his reaction when he saw the felines and immediately took a screenshot. His face will make an excellent reaction picture in the future. I actually had to hold my breath as he tried to make the first stroke of the brush. The fear of starting anew when faced with a blank paper (or any other material) can be paralising. It feels like no matter what you will attempt to do, it won't be good enough. I think this fear actually transcends the notion of material things and can manifest itself whenever a person deals with new beginnings in his or her life, like starting an academic career, for example. So I, like many people, could relate to him at that moment. |

| That was pretty good. The kitten scene was funny as heck, specially when the old man smacked the kitty on the back to agitate it. The rash looked real nasty as well. I would hate to have allergies to things that I like. Akki looks so much like his sister, I would love to see the two of them invade Handa's home and wreak havoc there along with Naru. Then there was the boat. Spends half an hour planning for the naming, all for a couple of handprints to ruin the entire moment. It was a good thing he improvised though. |

| Oh man, I can't believe I waited two days to watch this episode. So much feel goodz! I remember when I lost my cellphone and my laptop was getting repaired once at the same time; it really feels like you lose your connection with the outside world. xD Handa with the cats was so funny! Totally sucks that he has allergies since playing with cats is fun. :D The phone scene was super priceless! And the boat scene goes to where Handa experimenting with new things. The kids were so cute too. |
