Every dub = cringe

I want to be your friend, because like you, I dislike English dubbing of Japanese movies, Anime, and video games. I turned on Japanese subtitles watching an Anime in 2018 and never went back to English - ever again. During VHS days and Saturday morning/weekday afternoon cartoons of DBZ, Sailor Moon, or Cardcaptor Sakura, etc. I didn't know how bad it was.
Oooo. I see you on that Symphogear series watch!!! I found your profile off of your comment on the first season episode 13 finale; I was curious if there was any recent activity for the first season. I agree with you, and was surprised, to find that amount of hate towards the show! I completely understand the distaste for the Deus Ex Machina pulled there, hence why I gave the first season a 6 despite Symphogear being my favorite show of all time! if there is one thing that will always frustrate me, even on rewatches, is the ass-pulls that Symphogear manages to do lol.
Does South Park in dubbed Japanese sound bad? Well, it doesn't sound bad, but it is quite a different entity from the original, even though the Japanese have tried to translate the dialogue faithfully.
That's why it would never occur to me to watch it with Japanese dubbing, and the same goes for any other dubbing.
Did you ever play Ghost of Tsushima? You know the game developed by Sucker Punch. Were you aware this American game that take place in feudal era Japan had a Japanese voice (the JPN voice is the dub, and English voice is the original) included for the US/NA release?
So how would you play this game, Japanese dub or English original:
What if I tell you that if I get this game for my PS5, I won't played it in English, but I'll play it in Japanese despite the latter being the "dub" and not the original voice?
Would you be shocked if I told you that I played Skullgirls 2nd Encore with the Japanese voice for the cutscene dialogue (with the English left on for the fighting gameplay)? Reminder: Skullgirls is an American-made game that came out in 2012, and it didn't get a Japanese dub until 2015.
So you think every dub is crap, tell me does Looney Tunes and Bugs Bunny sound better in Japanese then in English:
Does Batman and Superman sound better in Japanese to you then in English:
If you think dub aren't good, then do you think the Japanese voice acting in American cartoon are crap, or superior over their original English voice acting?
Does Gears of War sound better in Japanese then in English?
I'm not a big dub fan or anything, but your takes regarding dubs are pretty garbage. In a world where anime is catering to the western audience even more than the Japanese in many cases, there are plenty of acceptable dubs and voice actors..
Of course I'm not expecting you to agree or change your mind, just food for thought.

the toxic side of anime fandom "this is what I like and anyone who has different taste is wrong"
I wonder does this person know that English things get dubbed for the East too, and I think that is great if it makes their experience more enjoyable.
It's nice to know someone has the same preference.
Assuming I'm not misunderstanding something here.
