Hello,
JC here I don't remember exactly when I started watching anime, it must've been way back in 2004 with DBZ and Pokemon airing on YTV. But to be honest, I started "seriously" watching during my last year of highschool, in 2010. The first anime I marathoned was Fate/Stay Night (don't judge!). Therefore I am a big fan of TYPE-MOON and Saber is one of my guilty pleasures. I mean, how could you not like her :3 Even the creator himself likes her... even though thats because she's the company's cash cow :< Additional favorite characters would include (in no specific order) Girls Guys [/center][/center] I consider anime as a hobby. Some other things I enjoy include [b]listening to music, travelling, eating, sports[/b], etc~ If any of you want to discuss any of these topic with me, FEEL FREE TO DO SO, I LOVE TO TALK! :3 Example of music I like: Oh, I play video games too. League of Legends, but currently taking a break from ranked due to playing horribly. I don't really play ranked anymore at the moment and only play a game a month to avoid decay, but I'm always up for normals with friends! As for me, I'm very patient so there won't be a problem. I'm interested in Clannad After Story so I will rather watch both series.

I had the same as you. I watched Hotarubi relatively recently because I usually didn't remember about it. Write me your opinion about these films - I want to know what kind of reaction you will have.
Surprisingly, Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki was very good. I didn't expect it.
Clannad must to wait. I'm going tomorrow on a trip. I'm gonna back on Sunday. I will watch anime but I don't have willing to look at this series now. ;)

So at first I recommend you 2 titles:
Hotarubi no Mori e - only 44 minutes. Slice of life, Romance, Drama.
Sakasama no Patema - (to me) story about trust, totalitarianism and freedom.
Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki <3 That was beautiful film. I don't remember when I started cry. I was a little surprised when I realized that Ame chose life as a wolf.
There were a lot of emotional moments when my heart was touched. Even now it's hard to think about it.
Warning - I was crying hard; but I don't regret it.
Yea, sure, I will write you my opinion about Ookami. No problem. :)
I love fantasy so If I watch something like it (fantasy, magic, supernatural) I'm happy. Some time ago I was watching mostly anime with action. Now I'm a little more looking at slice of life.
How about you?
Haibane Renmei is a little similar to Clannad. I think in this way because of your description. I may be wrong but look at this series when you have free time during the day. :)
Is it really that good? I heard that this is sob story. Is this true?
