Similar styles, both historical pieces, though perhaps the reason for the similar style lies with the time period the series take place in, thus affecting the clothing choices, music choices, etc. while both have fast-paced plots and not in the "it's rushed". Of course, one major difference lies in 91 Days having no fantastical elements as Baccano! does, so that might be a buzz kill for some, though not for others. 

Both anime have mafia, gangs, lots of action and fights. Main characters of the show go through a rough childhood that later on has a big impact in their life and choices. Main protagonist is smart and tends to do everything to get what he wants.  

Both are located around criminals, mafia and revenge. The action in Gangsta is more dynamic than it is "91 Days" Both are prey to a mental game that can lead to loyalty or family love.

Out of all the mafioso inspired anime entries out there, these two come the closest to capturing the very essence of the subgenre. The usual themes revolving around family, loyalty, revenge, and corruption are omnipresent. They center around the inner-turmoil of the mafia families on display, and in some capacity, also have a frenemy relationship occurring between the two main characters involved. With muted color-palettes, earthy tones, realistic character designs, and an invested attempt in taking cinematic cues from films that inspire it; these entries are something like gift-wrapped viewing bargains. The only tradeoff for watching either boils down to how much fantastical elements you're looking for. If you want the bread and butter of the mafia subgenre, go with 91 Days. However, if you want something that adheres to the subgenre with a bit of a left-hook coming in the form of supernatural elements, then go with Gungrave. Both shows take place during the early 1900s and show the seedy undercurrent of society during that era. Containing similar art direction, color palettes, and sound mixing, these titles feel like they share the same universe. Taku Kishimoto is also credited for his Series Composition contributions on both titles as well. They're titles that gravitate away from the usual anime trappings, taking more influence from the world of cinema instead. If you enjoy the tone and atmosphere of one, there's a high chance you'll like the other. 

they are bot a teeth gritting, real, depressing story about monsters ruining others 

Avilio is very similar to Lelouch, both are very clever manipulative tacticians, both seek for revenge for the death of their loved ones, although the atmosphere of both shows is way different, regarding the main protagonist these anime are kinda similar, if you like Avilio's character then you will totally love Lelouch Vi Britania.  

Death Note's most pervasive and most well acclaimed element is the mental chess game that is battled between L and Light (kira). This dynamic is both complex and intense, with a pressure exuded between the cast that could choke the air out of you in anticipation. 91 Days has similar elements of mental chess, but unlike Death Note, which features monologues that allow us to enter the character's mental state, this show removes the monologue, making the thoughts of the cast unknown to us. To supplement this the show has an excellent sense of visual story telling and uses context clues, character interactions, and visual ques to allow us to feel the same intense pressure and tension without giving away the character's plans, making this less like a game of chess and more of a game stratego. read more 

Aside from these series being stories of revenge against three people that ruined the lives of the respective lead characters, there does not initially appear to be too much linking the two: 91 Days involves 1920's American gangsters, where as Gankutsuou is a multi-layered 'dish best served cold' saga involving French noblemen. But, by the end, the 91 Days scheme for vengeance turns out to be more complex than it first appeared... So, read the words of Edmond Dantes and understand: "Bide your time and hold out hope." Also, watch Gankutsuou. Now. 

Both are set in the 1900s in European countries. Both of the main characters are seeking revenge on the people who killed their family. Both stories are dark. 

Both these animes have amazing plots, engaging characters, These series keep you on the edge of your seats and in the end leave you feeling empty and well, fulfilled but not at the same time?? THEY'RE BOTH GREAT ANIMES THAT DESERVE SO MUCH MORE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, ATTENTION AND LOVE!! Go watch them asap if you haven't!! (personally prefer 91 days over the other but ZnT has amazing soundtracks)  

Both are very much rooted in history, though Moriarty is slightly more far fetched. They have very immersive worlds that bring you to the era their stories take place in. Very good artwork, particularly the use of color. They also both have good soundtracks that fit the era and the mood, though Moriarty's often feels a bit more "modern" and imagined. If you want a good character drama that shows events from multiple perspectives, give these a try. 

Both have something to do with the mafia, set outside Japan, have dark atmosphere 

Both have the same dark-ish feel to them and distinct beautiful art. Both are about clever plots created by exceptionally sharp characters and are quite deeper and complex than one might think at the beginning. Both are loaded with action, drama and thrills must-see's. While Monster's plot is much deeper and more developed and complex, 91 days' plot is developed to the best extent 12 episodes allow.  

While both of these two series differ a lot from each other, they have few things in common that many might find as enough to give either of them a try: main character deciding to join the mafia (from one reason or another) and thus learning more and more about the mafia's structure; dangerous actions happening in the main character's life due to being a member of the mafia; charismatic characters (both main and side ones); emotional moments.

If you want noir action in anime or just an anime with a great atmosphere I can recommend you many anime, two of those being "91 Days" and "Princess Principal". While 91 Days puts more focus on the mafia, Princess Principal puts it on spy action in victorian London. 

Baccano was already recommended so i wanted to recommend another... Both deals with crime and have the same atmosphere/ feeling (dark, 'eerie', violent) 'Waging war in the dark' and both goes under the seinen genre i guess 

Similar theme with the mafia and opposing teams fighting against one another; with elements of treachery and betrayal as portrayed in 91 days. Although Bungou Stray dogs contains more supernatural themes unlike 91 days, it includes the excessive use of guns and weaponry; murder and secrets. It is hard to find unpredictable characters in an anime and both anime have MCs with this persona. As you watch both anime, the past of the main characters unravels soundlessly.  

just finished 91 days it has elements that revengers has, both are kinda dark although revengers has that bonds, freinship that makes it seem not that dark but it is ) both have a original plot that makes it enjoyable to watch any of them. * yea i forgot revengers has that time travel but it is a tool as best for futher arcs so don't expect much of time travel in there it's about delinquents fights, gangs , bonds. 

The main character in both anime has one goal. To take revenge on someone Although the genre and other things are completely different this is the closest I could find to 91 Days so far. 

It's a revenge story, with a protagonist that isnt neccisarily right or wrong. 

Both series revolve around the same style worlds that are slightly at the pretext of the industrial revolution but EIS is more of a fantastical representation compared to 91 days. 91 days is definitely more grounded and logical because the story isn't entirely just a power fantasy. So if you liked the premise and era of EIS but prefer more of a revenge mystery and no power fantasy tropes then 91 days is for you. 

91 Days isn't set in space, and Angelo's not exactly a bounty hunter, but Angelo and Spike share a similar suave charm. Both know their way around a gunfight and a fistfight. And each of them has waited years to settle some scores. There's a lot of bloodshed and clever dialogue in both, and the music, while not quite as good as Cowboy Bebop (but how could it be?) is still pretty good. 91 Days isn't nearly as well-animated as Cowboy Bebop either, but both have a realistic style likely to appeal to Western audiences. 

Both have western culture/theme present in their lores. Similar tale of walking down the road of revenge. 

Both mc's have a goal which the whole anime is based on, which is getting revenge by finding and killing the people who killed their parent(s). 

Similar character dynamic 

this may seem far fetched but when I watch this fantasy style anime, the plot about the two girls travelling together and one of them aims to kill another whilst facing emotional turmoil over committing the act and to go through with it. this notion gave me very similar vibes to 91 days although I must admit this recommendation does not really make me feel the same emotions that 91 days forced out of me. Overall I only recommend this since I get similar vibes, however faint they may be, so it's understandable if this recommendation may not sit well with y'all.  

Similar to my first recommendation of 91 Days and Baccano!, Golden Kamuy is a historical themed anime. Even though it is historical it is set in a completely different time period and focuses on a completely different topic of war and the search for a hidden treasure of gold and riches. 

Both actions developed in the period 1890/1920. There is mistery in both but the end of kuroshitsuji OVA doesn't have the same feeling in the finale.

Even though the tone is 91 days is darker than Fugou Keiji Both anime deliver the plot of two main characters who are contradictory and kind of facing up against each other. The thrill in both anime is utterly amazing . The mysterical element keeps you going on when therre is no supernatural but only the smartness and IQ of the main characters that solve the Mysteries 

Centered around crime, violence, and degeneracy, these shows grapple with the concepts of good and evil and offer intriguing character parallels that will have you constantly switching your allegiances. 

Psychological Thriller? Check Story of Vengeance? Check Moral Ambiguity? Check Hiro reminds me of a more evil, yet very characteristically similar, version of Angelo Lagusa.  

Both feature the story of a man with bottled up rage who would stop at nothing in order to take revenge for their deceased family members by fighting the root of the cause, bigshots at the upper echelons of the mafia/yakuza organization operating behind the scenes as well as indirectly involved small fry for the sake of immoral justice. 

The story of a cold, calculating protagonist's quest for revenge and all the people caught in his way; both are accompanied by a quieter friend who appears on the surface to be the shy voice of reason. There's also a fair bit of similarity between the internal family-based strife in both shows, though of course, Zetsuen no Tempest happens in a more fantastical setting and has a magic orientated plot. 91 Days is set against a gritty backdrop of Prohibition Era US, and is more liberal when it comes to killing off characters. 

Both take place around similar time periods, 1920s-1930s and have to an extent a similar feell. However, Night Raid takes place in China and features spies with special abilities, whereas 91 days takes place in seemingly the USA and features the Mafia, so far without supernatural events.  

Both are excellent period pieces that wonderfully show the dark and secretive sides of what it means to be human. Secrets, drama, great art, great music, and brilliant directing in both cases. Characters are fleshed out and believable. 91 Days is has more action and is more straightforward. Both are excellent journeys that will hook you until the end. 

Revenge. It drives Casval and Angelo to commit unforgivable acts against those who have killed their families. Ready to adandon all ties to their identities, Casval and Angelo adopt new identities to infiltrate themselves within the inner circle of those who would kill them if they knew their past. Although Casval's revenge is only realized in the sequel, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin is the story that gives meaning to Casval's revenge. Of the two series, 91 Days is definitely the darker tale of revenge and benefits from being a pure drama. 

Altered Carbon: Resleeved and 91 Days have very different stories about criminal syndicates, but feature the most realistic interpretation of organized crime in anime. 91 Days portray the American Italian mafia during the Prohibition era whereas Altered Carbon portray the yakuza in a futuristic era. 91 Days is probably the best gangster anime. Altered Carbon is one of the fewest crime themed anime focused on the yakuza. You definitely watch these titles if you are looking for more gangster anime.  

Dark world, smart and intellectual main characters, lots of action . Good character and story development.  

Both stories present a relation with something that happened in the past and both protagonists have to solve all the problems that the past left. Furthermore, every chapter, specially in Boku dake ga Inai Machi, leaves you with an intrigue that urges you to see the next chapter. 

Through Darkest of your own days maybe brutal since the era sets up in a urban state of history Every characters are portrayed doing crime things that purge syndicate who'd being doing malicious cases and savaging murderous intents Highly inducing Mature vibes that is so deadly and very crucial as it direct towards to the society of an outsider who got involve into a random messy rotten lives in the prison/ganging up as a mafia 

Both anime include revenge as a plot point. For Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens, it's relatively short since the series is pretty episodic. If you want to see a whole story of revenge, then 91 Days is the anime you want to watch. Also, both give off a similar vibe. They take place in different time periods, but both have a 1920's-1940's feel with the mafia (from 91 Days) and the hitmen (from Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens). 

Main characters on these shows wants revenge for killing their family when they are kids, Enjoy ^^ 

In summary. Both of the anime shows are in old second war style ( you will get it if you watch one of em lol ). Both of the main characters try to kill overpowered character to get their revenge because he/she made them poor af. Over exciting, action a-a-and killing with cold blood... you know. Tanya and Angelo use strategies to take care of people or get promotion in their corporation. Finally they got innocent kind of stupid supporting characters. A Lot of points but i used the most important, realized ones. However, If you like. -Action. -Guns. -Wars. -Strategies while wasting souls. -Revenge and anger mode. Then you Need to watch Youjo Senki and 91 Days if you didn't watch it already.  read more 

91 Days and Izetta, the Last Witch are both shows that take place in the early 20th century. Each show has rivaling factions. In 91 Days it is the Vanetti family, the Orco family, and the Galassia family, While in Izetta it is Germania and Elystadt. Both shows have characters who were childhood friends, who were reunited in adulthood, Avilio and Corteo in 91 Days and in Izetta it is Princess Finé and Izetta. Both shows have a similar character designs. The CGI is excellent is both series. Both shows belong to the historical genre, even though Izetta has a lot of fantasy elements.  

91 Days and Tiger and Bunny are both about the main characters getting revenge on the murderer of their parents. There are certain organizations that are both bad and good that they both join to achieve their goal. While Tiger and Bunny has super powers and is set more in the future, both anime have action. 

Although at first glance 91 Days and Psycho-Pass might appear fairly different, they are quite similar in many ways. Both anime deal with more serious themes such as revenge, death, etc. Both anime tackle questions of what justice and criminality are in their respective worlds. Both anime involve a protagonist with violent tendencies who is accompanied by a more pacifistic character.
