People are gonna talk about me, especially when they envy me, I might as well let them talk, because I affected their lives, they didn’t affect mine! I’m only me. That is all I can be. No more, no less, don’t second guess.
I love, I live, I laugh, I cry. I’ve wished sometimes that I could die. Some days I’m funny, others I’m not, sometimes I’m in overdrive and I can’t stop. You may not like me, but that’s okay because this is me and how I’ll stay. I don’t care what you think of me… it couldn’t be half as bad as what I think of you.
People that just know me by name always say that I am a snob and a very quiet person. One that is very serious and has a smile so rare to be seen. And one that will not greet them unless they greet him first. For these reasons, they often called me ‘suplado’.
Well, somewhat true. But these impressions were just for those persons who don’t really know me by heart. Actually, I am a very happy and funny person, as what my close friends would say. I am the type that crack jokes all the time, and make you laugh whenever you want to. I could be the life of a party, and the coolest bud that you would want to hang out with.
I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.
For once I don’t care what you think about me… I don’t care if you think my hair isn’t right or my shoes don’t match my outfit. I don’t care that I don’t fit into this cookie cutter high school prom. All I care about is that I’m me… and that I’m happy about it. For once I’m happy and secure in knowing that you can’t take that from me, no one can .
Im hoping that one day I wont need to fake a smile. I live by quotes that explain exactly what I’m going through. I make up excuses for everything. I have best friends and enemies. I have drama and memories and that’s life.
Do you know what it’s like to be me? Go through something not everyone can see? Do you know what it’s like to walk in my shoes? Please stop judging me simply because I’m not you.
