Reminds me of that character from Blazblue not that i played it a lot but... I used to watch my friends play it often. Regardless i always loved her character design. That sucks though about not being able to go. I hope you do get to go at some point when you're free and not swamped from so much going on with you life wise! You're welcome! I'm Matt btw ^_^ But yeah, I saw Princess Mononoke again in theaters last summer for Ghiblifest. I seriously forgot how amazing it was... I really became to appreciate it so much more than before. Like it's even better on the big screen too!

It's great to hear that you're enjoying Dandadan! I get what you mean about the lack of structure; sometimes a more freeform approach is refreshing, but it to others it feel perhaps aimless.

As for the other series you mentioned:

Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite (Orb: On the Movements of the Earth): This one has a mix of reviews. I don't know if I appreciate its historical take of the 15th century Poland, I feel it doesn't quite hit the mark with its historical accuracy. It might be worth checking out if you're into historical anime but I dropped it after 2 episodes.

Ao no Miburo (Blue Miburo) is another shinsengumi anime during the shogunate in Japan. I see that the story has some political intrigue and sword fighting action, but I have found the fight scenes underwhelming.
Also the emotional disregard for human life among everyone other than the main character doesn't feel too good. It might be worth giving a few episodes a try to see if it grows on you.

Halloween was quiet for me too. I have No friends to go with trick or treat with , But I went out for a walk around the town enjoying the decorations and costumes. Some even dress up like anime characters..Living in a party town certainly has its perks when it comes to celebrations and festive events.

Awesome ^^ Those are must watches for a lot Ghibli fan's it seems like.
Watched Boy and the Heron and thought it was great. Just a bit different and not has lighthearted like classic Ghibli. Haven't seen Porco Rosso yet, but plan to! I've made a goal to watch all of them. Haven't watched Ocean Waves or Pom Poko either.

Also, just to let you know, I noticed that you mentioned Sarazanmai a couple of times in the anime discussion! Thanks to you, I am reminded of its existence. I dropped it on the first episode, not cause I was bored of it. In fact, I dropped most anime in 2019, just cause I was into something other than anime that year. Sorry for the unnecessary story! But yeah, I might want to pick it up again!😊
