Both animes have similar MCs. I honestly found Amagi Brilliant Park while trying to find more shows with MCs like that of Charlotte. If you liked the MC's personality in this you'll like Charlotte.

Both have protagonists who are charged with saving their new community from outside threats, and to better it from within. Butt tons of fan service and laughs on both ends, and the protagonist constantly has some nice eye candy next to him in the form of loli Shiro or waifu Sento! If you love a great anime with a high re-watch value and also centered around an original idea, you should definitely check this out as well!

Anime in which a narcissistic male protagonist is tasked (or self-appointed) with saving a society that is forgotten by the public. The female lead rarely shows her emotions, but is implied (or stated) that she has a crush on the male lead. Both can be considered comedic series, but they take different approaches. Amagi Park is more like your everyday school anime, with mainly teenagers interacting with each other. Arakawa is a gag comedy, and surprisingly quite thought-provoking at times.

Similarities: Both have the same basic plot where it involves high schoolers doing a man's job where it puts the grown ups to shame, it also has the same trigger happy female character and a sweet female character. Romance wise both MC doesn't have any romantic direction at all. However, the setting where different cu'z Rail Wars was set in some alternate place where Japan's Railroad system remains public, while in Amaburi it was set in some theme park where fantasy was the main theme. Also, in Rail Wars, the MC has a harem competing for its affection, while the MC in Amaburi doesn't have  read more

Both fun series with main characters dealing with different worlds, and working jobs to help others. There is a good deal of comedy in both.

Girls, military officers in "normal" society, big guns that somehow appear out of nowhere, and Fumoffu!

Both involve a male character being threatened (or even killed) on a first date. Thereafter, these characters begin cohabiting with magical individuals and saving the world. Both male characters gain magical powers. Kore wa Zombie Desu ka is much, MUCH funnier though.

Supernatural, ecchi KyoAni animes. They both start out pretty silly, but get more emotional for the last couple of episodes. The main characters couldn't be more different, but the arkward situations they get themselves into are similar. Setto is physically similar to Mai, but mentally similar to Koito, but Reina and Latifa aresimilar both physically and mentally.

Okay, I don't feel very comfortable making a recommendation with only two episodes airing, but let's go. - Both animes evoke a particularly "magical" atmosphere for the entertainment venues in which they take place. Aquatope follows the work of Fuuka, Kukuru and the employees at the Gama Gama Aquarium, exploring the protagonist's immersion, the manager's passion and relying on some imaginative and immersive scenes from the experience to represent this feeling. AmaBuri, on the other hand, has a setting that literally involves magic and fantasy, set in an amusement park whose attractions are the employees themselves and what they do, with or without magic. Both have spot on humor that will make you laugh a lot. There is a lot more fantasy is KonoSuba then there is in Amagi Brilliant Park, but they both take advantage of their fantasy elements very well. If you liked one you will definitely like the other.

Subaru and Kanie are both outsiders coming to a new unknown world and because of that knowledge they help their queen rebuild their land.

- Both Mc are both asocial. - Both Mc are being forced to do something (e.g join a club or go on a date) - Both Mc are arrogant about something

This anime has the same goal. ie it revive a long-dead tempang .. originally also two main characters in the anime is refusing to be given the task .. in terms of story is almost similar and comedy too cute >.<

- Vain but skilled highschooler in managerial position - Budgeting and management of a poorly run team/business - Colourful and moe Classroom Crisis is ever so slightly more mature in its approach with believable scenarios and reasonably realistic characterisation. Amagi Brilliant Park on the other hand, is just a massive power-trip for the incredibly intelligent MC, where everyone else is more or less an accessory to his brilliance as oppose to being characters with their own reasons and motives. Taking the above bullet points into account; go for Amagi if you want OP MC + cute and silly, go for Classroom Crisis if you like drama and plot-twists.

Both series are about protagonists who find themselves having to become the saviors of a bankrupt entity/group, through economic reforms and smart decision-making. It may be a different type of hero than what you're used to. They're both good series. Please try it!

One tries to run a failing fantastical theme park set in the real world and involves the struggles there within. The other tries to sell the otaku culture to a fantastical world and involves the struggles there within. Anime babes. Trust me. These are very similar and the comedy is great.

Under the same director and animation studio, we are presented with a bored, cynical, and generally unsociable male protagonist who is largely uninvolved with his high school life until his encounter with the eccentric and emphatic female protagonist whose request for help pulls them into an adventure they would never have experienced otherwise. Initially, both protagonists are reluctant to help, but continue to find themselves becoming more and more involved and even attached to the people he made friends with.

Both MC try to administrate something out of debt. Both MC are very smart, and both of them have a nice waifu helping them. They are very similar shows in some smaller characteristics as well.

Its had a same premises. The boy got forced manages some random company (Amaburi was a theme park company, and Sachibato was an adventurer based company) They did a lot as a new manager of their respective company. In the end, they did success. So, yeah, if you liked random activity toward some business management of show, this both show might be your tastes

Plot-wise, only similar in the barest-bones sense. In terms of direction and performances, though, these two shows feel eerily identical. Kakuma Ai, as Sento, channels Saito Chiwa's Senjougahara hard. Uchiyama Kouki as Kanie more draws from the Kyon school of snark but has moments where his delivery is nigh-indistinguishable from Kamiyan's iconic portrayal of Araragi. Both of those performances are well-known and codified these character types, especially in Japan where Bakemonogatati's blu-ray sales are some of the highest of all time. What settles it for me is the direction, especially editing. The only thing missing from Shinbou Akiyuki's unique flair (that defines Monogatari's anime) is the  read more

They have different story and plot, but they are comedies with eccentric and weird creatures, characters and animals.

Very different but very similar. Both shows have a general light heartedness but we still see characters troubles.

Magic, comedy, parody, and most importantly: cute animals that make overly dramatic faces with a side of sadism.

Although these shows have completely different genres and forms of comedy, they both achieve goals and character developments relating to finding success starting from the bottom. Kongming is similar to Seiya in being strategists and leaders for the rest of the cast in helping to encourage them to be themselves and follow their dreams. Without spoiling the end goal of both seasons, they have to reach a certain level of talent, growth, and popularity through holding crucial events that are the culmination of all of the efforts put into the entire season beforehand. TLDR: - Utilizes comedy to supplement drama and character development and growth - Have an end  read more

The same concept of a magical theme park, aimed more for a more mature audience due to it's rather crude humour, there's a lot of fun to be found in this show

Toradora! and Amagi Brilliant Park are both lighthearted anime with quite a bit of funny comedy. Toradora! gets a bit more serious later on, but the atmosphere and comedy is very similar between the two. The main characters of both anime, Ryuuji and Taiga in Toradora! and Kanye and Sento in Amagi Brilliant Park, have a similar dynamic as well. Check them both out!

both stories resolve around a presumptuous smart dude, both mc are very alike cunning but the story are kinda unrelated but the Mc character are quite alike.

In reality, both stories are very different, except for the main characters (MCs). What we see is that both MCs are very alike in some features, but at the same time, they differ in physical attributes. One is tall, while the other is short. One is confident, while the other is shy. After a while of watching both stories, you might wonder why the MCs are so similar yet different. It seems that both may be clever but will behave differently. Here's my recommendation: if you have already seen one, watching the other is fun.

Both have a crazy sense of humor of getting to the point with over the top characters and one mc who has brains and uses them, reacting to the chaos around themselves.

If you want a comedic type of "isshuukan friends", you should try amagi brilliant park. It has the same idea about the main girl that suffers from "memory problem". the memory of the girl in ABP will reset every one year, while in IF is every one week. not to mention that the story between characters are interesting. enjoy!

Kanie and Tamaki are Narcissistics! though Kanie is really smart, Tamaki screws up and his narcissism leads to idiotic tendencies which make both series funny as heck xD
report Recommended by oreinjji
Though different in many ways the two animes share some similarities. Both are comedies featuring a self centered teenager that knew next to nothing about what they were going to do. In Sakuragi's case he was going to play basketball which he had never played in his life, and in Kanie's case he had to manage a whole amusement park to meet the next to impossible goal of 500,000 visitors. Another similarity is how the characters in both animes wanted to achieve an unfeasible goal. All of the characters in the anime's have a unique and likable personality that will keep you hooked throughout  read more

Boy is introduced to fantasy world (In Amagi boy actually stays on earth) given a mission to protect the place the princess is in (Amagi - the theme park, Dog Days - the kingdom). The main lead then partners up with another woman to help protect the place while the princess is kind of in the sidelines watching it happen. Both boys have a hinted romantic pairing with the princess and the girl that helps them and seem to be a better than their job than an average person. There's very minor/light fanservice in both but isn't distracting.

The only thing that can be said about these two shows? Expectations. We all have them, and this is especially true for stereotypes. We generally expect tsunderes to be cute female characters the same way we expect theme parks to be happy, family-friendly fun. In both of these cases, we get our expectation.....and a little more than we bargained for. I can't even explain it without spoiling it.

Both of them have a similar atmosphere, characters having to solve the daily issues from their workplaces. Both of these anime have colorful fun characters, and we gradually get to see their jobs, personalities and their struggles. Both of these anime present the struggles of making it in time for a deadline. Both of these anime have great comedy provided most of the time by the characters. Both of them have young protagonists starting off their jobs, not knowing what will come in the future and what difficulties they will have to overcome. Both of them have a really colorful art style. The male leads both: - were famous/respected in the past but certain events changed that - are sent to a less-populated place that they don't want to be in - have a lot of character development over the series - meet new people who have completely different backgrounds to them - are kind of similar in age - are narcissists The plot, or, since Barakamon doesn't have much of a plot, the main idea of the story is similar. The MC gets sent to some random place that's completely different from what they're used to, and have to adapt to their new (and very interesting) friends/neighbors. Both series are high intense comedies with over the top personalities and reactions. Most of the laughs come from the characters interacting with each other in incredibly ridiculous ways, and how they choose to deal with their surroundings. The two are witty and fast paced series with jokse quickly stringing together one after another. Angel Beats mainly plays on how most of the cast can be straight up stupid, as well as the ludicrous ways you can take advantage of immortality. Amagi on the other hand takes it's fairy tale like backdrop and twists it with crude and violent characters. Comedy is prominent in both series but  read more

Both series involve a working space where a lot of funny things happen. The people that work there each have their own very typical personality which is why a lot of funny thing happen throughout the serie. They are both pretty short in episode count and future a similar kind of humor. I you liked one of them you are very likely to enjoy the other one too.

Both shows are otherworldly anime that are fairly light on action, with the focus instead being on business and politics. They both revolve around a main character trying to repair a world- Shiroe is trying to make an unliveable world liveable, while Seiya is trying to prevent a magical theme park from being closed down. In both cases, they are aided by a stoic girl (Akatsuki/Isuzu) who wears her hair in a ponytail and has easily superior fighting abilities to the protagonist. However, "Log Horizon" is much better, as it has a significantly better story and characters, though "Amagi Brilliant Park" has better animation.

both have very annoying yet lovable main protagonist's and a very colorlful and cheerful artstyle. both have some Ok cute girls that seem to be part of the meat in the show since the plot can be a bit boring at times.

Nichijou and Amagi Brilliant Park are both in my top 5 favourites list, and for the same reason - the similar, crazy humour, hilarious characters and the light, positive mood and atmopshere. While Amagi is definetily a bit more vulgar than Nichijou, I'm sure that if one of the animes made you laugh, the other one will too.

These are both nonsensical comedies with magic elements in them. Although plot and characters are widely different, they are both genuinely funny at times and are sure to turn that frown upside down from episode to episode it will have you rolling.

Though there's nothing particularly similar about these anime, they both give off this sense of fun, lightheartedness that is just a joy to watch. These shows both have a large ensemble of characters who are all a pleasure to watch. Finally, the setting of these anime are both very light, but do have a goal to be accomplished at the end (Earning enough visitors for Amagi Brilliant Park, and seeing who the next king/queen will be in Castle Town) I enjoyed both, so I recommend both xD

The two animes involve the rebuilding of certain groups that have hit rock bottom. Mondaiji-tachi is about restoring a community/clan to its former glory while Amagi Brilliant Park focuses on a sort of business community and its attempt to revitalize itself and draw in visitors. Both groups are magical in nature, though the shows are from somewhat different genres with one being more action oriented.
