It does fit that doesn't it? XD
May God bless you with all great things ahead. Give you good health and longevity.
And thanks for the manga recs, I keep them in mind and maybe once starting to dive into their world...
I can definitely recommend you 3-gatsu no lion. The anime is really beautiful and I think the manga is probably amazing too.
I should try out the mangaka's other work Hachimitsu to Clover as I see you seem to love it's anime adaptation.
The calm before the storm atmosphere you describes finding in Asano's works is an interesting thought. I think it is an important element to explore the feelings being in the rollercoaster of life and adolescence. You're born, sitting in a rollercoaster with silence around you and when the life is taking you with it, through endless cycles of cruelty and beauty you begin to recognize how wild and beyond one's control life really is and most of the time you just scream :)
It's good you don't rush through the shows you want to watch and take your time or waiting for the right moment to experience them more intensely. I do that too and it's a great way to enjoy most works.
I wished the Houseki no Kuni anime would be longer too although I struggled a bit with the events in the later chapters in the manga. But I'm really excited how the story and the characters will develop and I hope Ichikawa will draw more symbolical character-focused manga..
Ah, Made in Abyss was truly an intense journey, sometimes a bit too intense for me to handle :)
Edit: Just seeing you're living in the Murakamiland. How is it there?
And what's your most fav. work by him?
I'm currently reading 1Q84 but I'm very slow in doing so and I'm looking foward to "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" or "Hard-Boiled Wonderland And The End Of The World" but I'm really a very slow reader so it probably takes a lot of time when I start them.
No way ._.
So I guess I'll just say yes, it is stupid of her doing something like this, and I totally understand why you decided to remove her in the end. It's her fault tbh, not yours.
Hmmm, you are right, I tend to forget telling people my replies might be very late
Hey, you are not the only one who thinks of it like that way xd. We are in the same boat actually xd
I don't have to worry about exams until next year. Only thing I do nowadays is to work as a apprentice and earn cash xd. I like money
Oh wow, how hard was the punch? xD
studying calculus is draining my life force rn...so so exhausting
Well my manga list has many short reads because I haven't read that much yet. Want to read so much more like Kakukaku Shikajika, Kokou no Hito, Nausicaä, Blame, Song of the long March,...
But yupp I love Punpun. It's always great to dive into the personalities and perceptions of Asano's created characters.
And Okazaki has a similar way of storytelling and character exploring. I'm currently reading River's Edge but I wonder how Pink is. Definitely need to read it too.
Seeing The Cass of Hana & Alice in your favs is great as well. Did you watched Iwai's Live Action "sequel"?
And it seems you're enjoying this season's A Place Further Than The Universe and last season's Houseki no Kuni. I really like both too maybe Houseki no Kuni a bit more. But I really enjoyed Girls' Last Tour too, a subtle SoL experience about the daily life of Yuu and Chi and about their philosophical and joyful journey through the world.
Yea lol, can see why you are in love with it :)
Where did you go btw?
