Primarily, I focus on my blog, which you can see here, and my various web fictions, but being a database-minded person (database, database, just living in the database, woah-oh) I also religiously track every anime I see. And I mean EVERYTHING.
10- I think about this show every day, or it changed how I view something.
9- A great show that I have one or two minor problems with. Maybe a few episodes aren't as memorable, or a sub-plot doesn't particularly interest me, or it does something another show did better.
8- A really good show that impressed me in a lot of ways but maybe fell short in others.
7- A good time, and the last rating where I can tell others to go out of their way to watch a show.
6- I liked this show. Probably wouldn't watch it again, but I'm glad I saw it once.
5- This show has roughly equal amounts of good and bad, but nothing so impressive I'd say it's necessarily worth watching.
4- This show had more bad elements than good ones, but nothing so bad it made me angry.
3. This show had either nothing especially going for it or had a good chunk of time where it annoyed/bored me.
2. This show had BOTH nothing especially going for it AND a good chunk of time where it annoyed or bored me.
1. There was no reason to watch this and doing so was a waste of time.
Outside of anime, manga and light novels, I'm into making custom LEGO minifigures (mostly of anime characters) and playing video games (Mostly JRPGS like Persona, Final Fantasy, Earthbound, etc. and visual novels, Fate stay/night being my favorite in that category, though Chaos;Head is coming for its crown. I'm also obsessed with Touhou and Kirby.)
Aside from already-existing media, I've been shopping around some short story ideas in my head and drawing a bit lately. I've gotten obsessed with my own "aesthetic persona" as somewhere in between the Persona/Serial Experiments Lain/Boogiepop "denpa madness in present day" and the Kalafina/Vampire Hunter D/D Gray Man "contemplative silent goth-y fascinator." Shin Megami Tensei and the Fate series exist at kind of an interstice between those in my eyes, with heavy influences of cosmic horror (which, most of my drawings are Lovecraftian monsters. suffice to say I'm fascinated by those too.) I guess that's the appeal of those series in particular.
To summarize, my whole life isn't just anime! Though you could be forgiven for thinking otherwise.
If you'd like to, go ahead and add me. I promise I don't bite! Also, if you are so inclined, checking out my aforementioned blog and/or reading my web novel would mean the world to me.
These are all in fairly random order. Ranking my favorites stresses me out, so I didn't do it.
