Both involve a male character being threatened (or even killed) on a first date. Thereafter, these characters begin cohabiting with magical individuals and saving the world. Both male characters gain magical powers. Kore wa Zombie Desu ka is much, MUCH funnier though.

Alright. I'm sure people are going to look at this like "dude, what?" but I think it's worth the time to sit down and watch both of these series.
Both of these animes were incredibly funny, at least to me anyways. ABP was by far and away one of the funniest shows I've sat down and watched in a long time. There were several instances when I was in tears I was laughing so hard. KZD, isn't quite as funny as ABP but it's still pretty good in its own right.
