The remaining humans risks their entire race on a fight for survival or face extinction, the rich and powerful ruled for either the good of everyone or the greed for power. 'Black Bullet' demonstrates that good and bad are not very different depending on how you perceive it. 'Shingeki no Kyojin' has a darker history as the people have lived under fear for a longer period of time and any beings that are different from them have to be destroyed. Kill or be killed is a way to describe the ways of life of the people. Freedom of action is not permitted to the  read more

An infectious disease has spread. Causing people to die/turn into monsters. Only the main character and his companions have a way of dealing with it. They must find a way to cure it. Both series has great OST and visuals. One series is mecha while other is not. Kaji Yuuki does the voice of the main protagonist.

- Have a task of protecting the city or eliminating the threat. - Fight with guns, katana, sniper and etc. - Similarities character: Tooyama Kinji = Satomi Rentarou Kanzaki Aria = Aihara Enju Hotogi Shirayuki = Tendou Kisara Reki = Tina Sprout Mine Riko = Shiba Miori - Each anime have some great action and fight scene. - Each both main character have a female partner loli pink hair ponytails. (Kinji x Aria, Rentarou x Enju)

Both consist primarily of a typical slightly-moody light-novel protagonist surrounded by a harem of loli girls geared for combat. WorldEnd's mc has a slightly better-constructed backstory and reasons for brooding, and the mc, while still (over)powerful in his own way, isn't capable of fighting side-by-side with the loli girls like in Black Bullet. WorldEnd is also more lighthearted with less emphasis on life-and-death situations.

Both are set in apocalyptic world, where virus has wiped out most of human population and monsters have taken control over rest of the world, and to survive humans need to fight back with special weapons.

Both anime are based on fights against some new species that is kinda taking over the world.

Similarities: - Master & Partner - Partner wants to marry master - Partner are not considered to be human, but master treats them as human - Main protaganist both fights - They call out their fighting styles or spells - One Boss fight per arc type of anime - Dark gloomy and bloody

Little girls who can't live a normal life, they are assigned to guys, in order to form pairs man+girl, and the girls are used as weapons. The girls still to be humans, but they are treated as objects, and often in a cruel way. There are few persons who takes care of them, like as the main male character.

The futuristic plot and the fact that main chars works in pairs to solve a mystery being one of them a "cursed" people made me think about Psycho-Pass. Both have a villain that, in my opinion, is great, and they both feature a dark plot.

Thrilling and cruel heroic-action shows, where cool boys and young girls with powers, have to defend their own world from monsters and corrupted system. Very dangerous and deadly tasks await them.

In both of them, there are a threat for humanity that only girl/women half part human can eradicate. Girls are not considered like human and have visible characteristics (eye e.g.)

- Both have monsters able to infect humans (Ayakashi/Gastrea) - Infected humans turn into the monster - Both have some people fighting against the monsters (Yato & Yukine/ Rentarou & Enju) - Noragami has the God/Divine Weapon ranking, Black Bullet has the enforcer/promoter ranking

"Black Bullet" and "Tokyo Ghoul" are both super-powered action shounen anime series with a lead female character known for her rabbit-styled fighting or attire. In their respective societies, there exists groups of powerful individuals who are discriminated against due to what they do as well as their origins. These two shows are also both straightforward in their dilemmas and uses backstory to add emotional impact to the lead characters.
report Recommended by StevenHu
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting, where humanity is under attack by these unidentified monsters that are attacking humans. The characters in here are mostly shielded in an area by these advance technology where the monsters won't get through. There are supernatural powers where they can eradicate these monsters when fighting them. Expect some dark moments, action, and fears around them.
report Recommended by omega_d94
"Black Bullet" and "Plastic Memories" focus on a team of two partners made up of a boy and a girl who work to help a futuristic society through straightforward assignments. In their line of work, there is also the role of a guardian who mostly looks over the other partner who does most of the job. Furthermore, the female leads of both these two shows have a limit as to how long they can continue to live due to a restriction inherent within their bodies.

Both anime involve humans with superhuman abilities who pair up together and an encased world that is cut-off from anywhere else. Darker than Black has contractors and dolls while Black Bullet has initiators and promoters. Black Bullet's world has protective walls built around it, whereas Darker than Black has two large areas on Earth that became inaccessible due to a strange phenomena. There's also neat fight scenes between superhuman characters in both.

Similarities: Both involves the same situation where mankind is under threat from alien invasion. Both involves secret organization whom were tasked to take them aliens out. Both have the same individuals with special abilities to fight off aliens. Dissimilarities: The aliens involve in one anime attack by using massive numbers, while the aliens in the other anime attack by snatching bodies from humans. One anime has a lolicon element, while the other anime had a romance element.

Humanity isolated somehow from the other parts of the world, both series deal with some kind of virus that can kill the humans and characters will find a way to fight against this (although in Black Bullet the objective is more clear in the first episode), also Kaji Yuuki does both MC.

Both have a separate species of humans who are hated/feared by everyone else.

The female protagonist doesn't look as if they can do much of anything, but their looks are deceiving. Both series also take place in a future that humanity didn't expect, one where magic is real in some way. Over the course of the series, the main characters who are partner strengthen their bonds.

Nah, you didn't think so? Let me spell out it for you First, I think there is similiar concept in this story, like 'Unknownn'-thing and 'A Big Insect'-thing. Then Kasumi resemble the Protagonist from BB a lot. Asuha-chan and the lolis too! Hime's guardian(?) and the sexy girl too! (I forgot the name. Not gomen//) The world we called post-apocalypse, both series have them right. And... what else? The magic and action thingy maybe? Little romance too hahaha I'm not really remember Black Bullet story, but yeah, thats all I can recommended to you Just watch it yourself, you'll probably feel the same<3

Although the story is different, it features a main female character, who is cursed and have supernatural powers to fight off opponents or monsters. They are not seemingly hostile, instead they are friendly, having emotions, and having a cutesy appearance. They sometimes fight alongside with the boy, having some firepower or some backup to help defeat their target. C3 is basically a school comedy, that fights other cursed people, while Black Bullet is a post-apocalyptic setting, fighting monsters.

Both are set in post-apocalyptic worlds ravaged by infection spreading monsters (Gastrea in "Black Bullet", "Them" in "Highschool of the Dead") and focus on a group who work together in order to survive and combat the threat. The main characters are also quite similar: Rentaro=Takashi===> Both are generally nice guys whose actions tend to be very pragmatic, and can fight both physically and with a gun. Enju=Rei===> Both are the kindest of their groups who show sympathy even for the infected beings, and tend to call out the others for their more ruthless actions. In an almost seemingly peaceful city bounded by natural order lies a dark secret. The minds of the society has been poisoned which in turn leads to a bizarre belief that no everyone is equal. It just goes to show that an unfounded law supported by absurd theories may spread chaos in the long run. 'Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryuu no Rondo' focuses on a naive human race where control is everything. It shows how fragile the human minds are when manipulated to discriminate their own kind. Genetically superior/modified humans (mostly girls) that are resilient to the source of extinction and fighting to save humanity. Differences: Black Bullet's affliction is a virus that mutates people into giant monsters, and Coppelion is simply the aftermath of a giant nuclear explosion and people surviving areas with nuclear waste. I am more so recommending Black Bullet to people who watched Coppelion, as Coppelion seems much less interesting to me. While it may seem that these two don't have an awful lot in common, and they don't, they both aired around the same time and feature a main male character with a young girl for a sidekick, whom they view as a little sister but are shown to have a bit of a crush on them. They also have a few of the same voice actors e.g. Shiro and Tina are voiced by Caitlynn French, while Sora and Yasuwaki are voiced by Scott Gibbs. Both anime have an apocalyptic environment where our characters struggle to survive against the human threat known as: -Kabane (Koutetsujou no Kabaneri) -Gastrea (Black Bullet) * It is largely about the members' struggles against the various monsters that come to invade. * The action and music stands out as much which is a credit to all the hardwork that has been established into the series. * Both of these anime uses various weapons to destroy those invaders... * Both male leads are no longer human (kind of 50/50) * Horrifying and Awesome !!

In both humanity fight against people infected by a virus that mutate the body of the these. Really this is the only coincidence. Black bullet is better, in all ways than Gibiate, sharing the premise of killer mutant humans. The drama is coherent, with plot twist that made it very interesting

Both anime have plenty of action in it. Both of the main characters parents were killed. In both anime, the main characters are a group of elite skilled fighters. Both anime the main characters are struggling to survive. One anime is about the characters fighting to survive against mutated monsters, and the other anime fights the empire's army. One anime includes more mettle, while the other anime includes swords, spears, and claws One anime includes the Gastreas, the conflict of the story, while the other includes humans possessing dragon's abilities, which are the protagonists.

Both have a harem style (Black Bullet doesn't have romance, just one dude and a bunch of girls). In both animes there are a group of girl that have a connection with a race of monster that is trying to kill humanity. In both, the girls fight the monsters and have special powers. They both have fair amount of action and comedy. This one has little girls fight with a partner, not girl at school. Black Bullet doesn't have real romance. It has black comedy instead of fan service.

Humanity is pressured from a force that lives beyond the walls/dams that protect them so far. In both shows, the force itself is tied to the main girls of the show in some way. Black Bullet definitely has some questionable harem vibes, while A.I.C.O. is more grounded in a sci-fi battle to "stop the evil" vibes. Depending on your mood, will determine which show you would want to watch.

Set in a dystopia in the near future, post-war, society is made up of racist assholes. With plenty of action and science fiction themes; our main character, a powerful high school student, is on a mission and leads an army in a new war that could either save or destroy Japan. Both main characters rely on something to fight - Black Bullet uses young girls who are 'cursed children' while Code Geass uses giant robots called Knightmares - and both series share the same intense, yet sometimes softened, atmosphere.

Both have main characters who rely on their companion (a younger girl in both cases) to achieve their potential. In both cases the girls are better fighters than the main characters. Cute girls who are hired by the government to fight creatures that cause chaos in humanity (Gastrea and Aratama). In both anime, these government officials receive training. Apart from that in both, different teams compete. But in Black Bullet, it's not just girls who are hired and also have guns.

I find these two anime alike because of an alien attack being the major problem and it wasn't suprising to find the same artist in both of their opening themes. Also the protagonists seem alike, because they both have the urge to protect female characters and weaker people in general.

When i watch Black Bullet i instantly remembered Tegami Bachi series, as both anime deal with insect-like monster that threaten humanity. The concept is somewhat similiar, where the monster can only be killed by some special force. Both Black Bullet and Tegami Bachi also involve partnership in order to defeat the monster.

Shangri-La and Black Bullet both take place around Tokyo after some apocalypse has occurred. In Black Bullet, the main characters fight for the safety of the survivors; while in Shangri-La, the main characters fight for better living circumstances for the people. But most importantly, both anime have badass lolis. The main differences is that Black Bullet is mostly action while Shangri-La also contains economics and environmentalism.

Both series feature cute girls in the main cast that have special abilities, live apart from or are shunned from society, and have shorter than normal life spans. Both shows also have the MC treat these girls as regular people and he helps them experience just being human. This in turn endears him to them. Although the plots to the two series are quite different, this underlying theme is present in both shows.
